Gilbert has recently lost his father, he is alone and lost, he doesn't know what to do or what his future will look like, he hesitates to leave Avonlea. Anne deeply regrets what she said to Gilbert after the funeral. After a conversation with Aunt Jo, she decides to visit the young boy to tell him everything she feels.

So, Anne, Gilbert and the gang live in 2020 and guess what? Covid happens. So just know, it is a slow burn. It will get there. It will evolve. There are some relatable things (banana bread, anyone?), a very old issue between Anne and Gil that will need some addressing at some point and very funny situations as well many, many tears. This will be long. OC is everyone from the gang.

In their first fall at Queen's, Diana runs into Fred Wright, an old classmate. They begin a courtship until Jerry comes to visit Anne. Diana begins to feel guilt from their past. Will old feelings come back into play? Or will Diana simply dismiss them? Anne feels a strain on her long-distance relationship with Gilbert. Will love survive? Or will their romance suffer a tragic end?

Anna's in Queens, always fighting for what's right. However, she can't completely give up her life and who she is. She hasn't forgotten Ka'kwet and she is determined to find a way to tell her story. What does Anne's new romance with Gilbert change for her? Imagine a season 4, where all of our favorite characters are back.

Diana storms out after arguing with her parents. She rushes to Jerry to apologize

Anne has been acting strange and everyone notices and is extremely concerned. Unable to open up because of her past, she internalizes everything forcing her into a deep depression. Will she be able to overcome her demons?

Anne only wanted to fit in. She wasn’t in any way interest in Gilbert Blythe, and she just wished he would stop telling everyone she was his future wife. She would never be with anyone so disgustingly immature. Or would she?

Diana is coming of age and her parents are eager to match her with a respectable suiter. She goes along with it while her heart yearns for someone else. She must make a choice of what is more important: pleasing her parents or her happiness. Rated T for possible abuse

What if Season 3 of Anne with an E had gone a different direction? This story explores that idea through varying character perspectives. A quote from Part 1: "I remember thinking that night, as I looked at the stars above the sea, that the same stars looked over Avonlea and you. That the sky was something we still shared in common, even if we were thousands of miles apart."

Written after S3/E10 of Anne with an E aired in Canada, and after the devastating news that this beloved series will not be renewed for a 4th season. Admittedly, I am in the depths of despair. "I do not like the way he looks at you or talks to you," Diana informed her elder sister as they walked side by side on the way to school. Charlotte laughed at her and shook her head. "Believe me, I can handle Mr Phillips, Diana. Do not worry about that." Mr Phillips was the least of Charlotte's concerns since her return to Avonlea.

The story takes place after the 3rd season of Anne with an E, so after the 10th episode. Gilbert has gone to Toronto to study medicine and Anne is in Charlottetown. They write letters to each other, but such a great distance is also very difficult for the two of them. Here I write what might happen afterwards.

Though they finally express their mutual romantic feelings, will Anne and Gilbert be able to maintain their love over the distance between their respective schools, or will the obstacles of being apart from one another be too great to overcome?
