S1:E17 'Moon Ring 2' AU. It had been a weak shot to begin with, canal water to undo a Moon Ring's defensive blast? It shouldn't have been a surprise when it didn't work, but now they're stuck with an unconscious Mermaid, they're untrained, their options are limited and tensions are high... Moon Rings are dangerous. Too bad it took this much to make that really sink in.

Zac tells the girls that, in a dream he had, they were all mermaids. They quickly play it of as only a dream, but was it really? In fear that the trident may be pushing Zac towards their direction (probably so he could destroy them), they quickly hatch a plan to lead that track to a dead end for good, but at what price?

Danger is coming, more than anybody has imagined. Evie realises she is the only one left who is not a 'real' mermaid. Erik is looking for a real home. Zac wants to forget everything that has happened, but the pull of the moon sets him on a dark path. Meanwhile, the merman chamber on Mako holds a secret that should never be uncovered. Set post-2X13.

Erik comes back to the coast for a merman convention, which leads to trouble. Hundreds of mermen from across the world on one continent isn't exactly what the mermaids want. But something lurks near Mako Island threatening all of the merman kind, including Zac. Not to mention Lyla and Nixie are back on land! Chris/Mimmi, Weilan/Karl (ish), Sirena/David, Ondina/Erik.

The unthinkable happens when Cam falls into the moon pool, seemingly on purpose. Everyone is trying to adjust when, next month, someone new is transformed. Soon the mermaids begin to notice a pattern. Will they be able to stop the ensuing madness? Or is this bigger than any of them could have imagined?

AU. Mermaid princess Mimmi dreams of living on land...and makes a deal with the wrong person to make that dream come true. Rated K for slight violence and scary scenes.
