"Me in my bed, you in yours..." A rewatch of In the Dark made me wonder what Dempsey was about to say when the phone rang and this goes off on the assumption that it didn't.

They've reached breaking point. Can their fragile relationship be salvaged or has he pushed her too far?

I wasn't necessarily planning on a second chapter for this one but I started thinking about that date he asked her on, and then I started writing, and hey...here we are!

Baby it's cold outside - yes it is! And it snows. Based on Frank Loesser, Harry thinks about going home and Dempsey tries to persuade her to stay. Completed.

Prelude to Don't Ask (yes, this ought to be part 1, but I wasn't going to post this but was inspired to do so by The Ballad of Danny and Debbie by CocoBacon which you should read!) I may have 4 or 5 stories already in progress, but did that stop my brain from deciding a little New Year's Eve one shot was needed? No, it did not. Wishing you all a safe and peaceful New Year. May we all be able to leave our houses again in 2021!

Spikings concentrates on driving the cab. He's got a bloody good idea, but he'll ask Mrs. S, who'll probably look at him like he's daft. She's always thought that Harry called the shots when it came to Dempsey and they'd been 'Up To Something' for a while. (Inspired by Wheelman)

An AU complete story with Dempsey still as a Lieutenant and Spikings as the boss and Chas is his partner. He meets Harry in a timeline similar to series 3 when she's in need of his help as she tries to escape her marriage. Warning for violence at the start and then a gentle story of hope and love.

Harriet thinks of Dempsey's 'lover' Cathy, and what her obsession cost her.

You remember office parties? There's always a couple whom you think are 'doing it' but nobody knows. Anyway, here's my take on it and the long term effects. I seemed to have got into a theme of electricity which is strange, because that wasn't intended and maybe something to explore another time when I have brain space to explore about charged words!

Based around The Prize Fighter this is another one off story which adds some detail and uses some artistic licence! Thank you so much for your kind words about my first story. Writing is hard but I've enjoyed trying it and your comments are truly appreciated.

Thanks for all the lovely comments :) This one is all done, but I seem to have lots of other stories half written at this point so those will start to show up as soon as can get them tidied up and ready to go.

I've so enjoyed reading everyone's stories about one of my all time favourite tv shows. I've never written anything before and I'm not sure why I suddenly wrote this. I just started and kept going til it was done! It's just a little toe dip into the water to see how it goes and is a short story taking Guardian Angel in a slightly different direction.

Someone important was getting married, he couldn't remember who or why, only that he was her plus one at the forthcoming wedding as long he, and the London criminal fraternity, behaved himself. Forgot I had another chapter for this - for CocoBacon because those stories are dreamy!

Rewatching The Burning and got to thinking that when Harry went to find him that night she was mad enough and worried enough that she might not have let herself be bundled out the door quite so easily; )
