After Charles flees deeper into the tunnels after his panic attack, Vincent finds him there and manages to calm him down just before Catherine and Devin arrive. There are so many lovely words in the episodes, so many that evoke all sorts of emotions. But in this collection I have chosen a single word from an episode and written a story around it, enlarged upon it, and made it sing.

A plague breaks out in the Tunnels and it's up to the help from Above and everyone's strength and courage to deal with it. Expansion of the episode "Ashes, Ashes".

Vincent politely refuses Catherine s plan to go for a trip to Connecticut, leaving both of their spirits shattered. My take on what might (should) have happened after they parted (and after Vincent's dream) and how the tunnel people contemplate their efforts to make Vincent not leave with Catherine.
