This is the sequel to the series "A House Divided," and picks up where "Johnny's Journey" left off. Can the Station 51 A-shift get their lives back in order now that all their personal crises are over? Or are there more problems in store for the men before the house can finally be united?

Johnny drove out of the car dealership with a significantly emptier checking account and a smile on his face. He was now driving down the road in his brand new car. A brand new white Range Rover. It was a Christmas present to himself.

There's a brush fire and the guys are called in off duty. Because they're not working, they get called in separately. With a new Chief in charge, they notice come changes. Individually, they all come to the same conclusion, they don't like it.

Johnny could feel the tears stinging the back of his eyelids. He tried to hold it back but it was no use.
