#43 Dragon riders AU - A massive prison break from the Chatelet throws Paris into chaos.

A very drunk Athos awakens in the mansion he once shared with his former wife. Little does he know that the chill he feels is a result of more than just the cold.

Aramis endures teasing from his friends as he tends to Athos' minor wounds after a skirmish with the Red Guards.

A recovering D'artagnan, worried about his brothers, drives Treville crazy.

"Language, D'Artagnan, why don't you help Aramis here with setting the table." Aramis was doubled over laughing. "Did-Did you really just?" He wheezed. " 'Thos!" (a prompt I did that accidentally turned into like the opening from Avengers AoU)

A man with a vendetta uses the Musketeers to get his revenge on Captain Treville.

Pre-series Milady X Athos. Athos and Milady (not yet known as Milady) encounter each other for the first time, from each of their POVs. "A man so discreet that she had learned not a thing about him personally was a man hard to grift. What secrets of value to Sarazin could she hope to possess if even the blandest of personal information were held so closely to his chest?"

When King Louis takes ill, his dying wish is that his wife and the son he always knew was not his would be protected. He knows that Queen Anne's heart lies with the father of her bastard, who Louis has falsely claimed as his own to protect her. When he is called back to the palace, Rene is reminded that every choice he has made was for love, but were his sacrifices worth it?

"What did you tell the innkeeper?" asked Porthos. "All I told the man was that we needed a room for the night, nothing more or less," Athos replied, dumbfounded. When the weather brings bad memories for one of them, the others try their best to make it right. Will d'Artagnan finally conquer his demons, or will he fall victim to the shadows haunting his mind?

#42 Dragon riders AU - The musketeers are sent to recover a dragon stolen from the French army. But they find an entire clan of dragons hurt by the war and a young woman giving them sanctuary.

Summary: Introductions feel somehow familiar. This is an entry for the February 2021 Fete Des Mousquetaires challenge with the theme of "groundhog day".

The musketeers, in collaboration with the red guard, work together to protect Paris, her king, and those they hold dear. Chaos ensues! Athos centric, spoiler alerts!

Athos begins to question his sanity when he keeps seeing his dead wife in all his usual haunts. He knows it can't be true, he must be seeing phantasms, but it certainly feels like he's slowly losing his mind.

#41 Dragon riders AU - Food shortages stir unrest within the city, and multiple thefts have the musketeers scrambling to keep the peace.

The inseparables return from a simple mission with tempers running high, how will they recover from this argument and what affect will it have on Aramis? Read and find out.
