College AU: After her father's death in a fire which tore down her house, Ryuko found herself fighting alone against the world, struggling to keep going. Relying on her friends around her, she lives her life day by day. But fate is whimsical, and her hidden demons threathen to resurface once again.

It was a year after the events of Kill la kill, and life has been swell for Ryūko, Satsuki and Mako who happened to have been transferred to the same high school. However a ghost from their past throws their lives into chaos while this spectre of said past begins their own new life leading to an unseen force who wish to enact the will of the late Ragyō Kiryūin begin their attack.

The Mankanshokus were out of town, attending the catered funeral of a distant stranger. Ryoku hadn't wanted to go with them, but as soon as they left, she didn't want to be alone. Silence was harder to bear than usual these days. She ended up talking to her left boob a lot.

On her travels conquering other schools, Satsuki Kiryuin recruits another loyal and trustful subject into her elites: Kai Tadasuki. A couple of years after the end of the events of the main series, Ryuko has a stroke that leaves her paraplegic and severely incapacitated when it comes to her memory. Thankfully, she has the world's best girlfriend to help her adjust to her new life. And the ghost of an old friend.

Uzu Sanageyama thought giving up his sight was the key. It certainly gave him an edge in his second battle with Ryuko but now he was faced with another dilemma; one decidedly more sinister.
