Two people from very different cultures will come together in the wake of the War of the Ring. In the end, they could remain as alone as they started or there could be a chance of growth and healing for both. Differences will have to be set aside and understanding take its place, which is difficult even in the best of times.

Aragorn is in love with Legolas, but he knows the prince will never feel the same. Even if he did, their a relationship between them would be impossible.
