Jonas is lying on the ground after a training session thinking of a memory the Giver transmitted to him. His thoughts turn to a certain someone with beautiful, red hair.

(Placed right after the entire populations memories were put into the first receiver of memories mind) It's too much to hold the worlds memories in your mind. The memories back fire and the first receiver of memories is forced to remember lives that aren't his own while watching his friends and relatives look at him as though they were strangers.

My long term project of taking everything from the giver and cutting it off at chapter 21, then making it up myself from about there. This is my first story part. I WILL edit it in the future if I am told to. PS this is not a port over in the giver just using different terminology, it may seem like that right now but the plot will become different.
