Four young spirits are tasked with continuing the age old tradition of bringing the seed of the old spirit tree to a new place, planting it, creating a new spirit tree. But before that can happen, the Elders need to choose the ones most capable spirits for the task. The story is set in a forest similar to the blind forest of Nibel, but unrelated to Gumo, Naru and Ori.

A pre-Ori and the Blind Forest ficlet; Leru and Reem, two guardian spirits of Nibel from before the forest became blind, form a new friendship. One of them lends the other valuable advice from where they are both perched atop a tree, enshrouded in the red horizon's glow.

Ori has just returned home from a festival honoring the late Kuro. But when the honored avian coincidentally returns after her child seemingly disappears, things take a turn for the worse - and the dreamlike. Can Ori escape Kuro's clutches and find his family, or will he finally be lost to the darkness?

We all know what caused The Forest Spirit's death, the Owl Kuro; But some of them still got away, leaving their light in just the place Ori needed for her journey. How did they come to die where they were? Rated T just to be safe as it is about how they died, no description of wounds are present.
