INTRO:
W: The future holds many possibilities. In some, there is a prospering utopia. But in others, only chaos, destruction, and utter hopelessness are all but certain.
B: Good thing time travel existed then, because these two sought to change the past to save their own time.
W: Trunks, the Human-Saiyan Hybrid.
B: And Silver, the Psychic Hegehog. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
TRUNKS:
(Battle Point Unlimited - Dragon Ball Z)
W: It was a time of great tragedy. Goku, Earth's greatest defender, had died from a fatal heart virus. Many close to him mourned this heavy loss.
B: But just when they thought things couldn't get worse, six months later, two killer androids popped up and began blowing shit up!
W: Without Goku, the Z Fighters quickly fell one by one before the androids' might, since they were programmed to be stronger than even Goku. And with the last of their opposition down, the androids then destroyed the world, sealing the fate of the future. These two were known as 17 and 18.
B: But one of the Z Fighters survived: Gohan, the son of Goku. Under his wing, he took in the infant son of Bulma and Vegeta.

W: This… was Trunks. Under Gohan's training for the next 13 years, he learned swordsmanship and martial arts.
B: Why the hell would the Saiyan Prince's kid want to learn how to wield a sword? He's already powerful as hell! All he needs to do is go Super Saiyan and BOOM! Bye bye androids!
W: Gohan saw it necessary that Trunks becoming a Super Saiyan would stop the Androids once and for all. But with everyone already dead and having not yet felt a certain level of sadness and sorrow, Trunks simply could not find the motivation to transform.
B: Well, until Gohan got literally disarmed and later lost his life. THERE'S your motivation, kid!
W: Still, the damage was done. Even as a Super Saiyan, Trunks STILL failed to destroy the androids. So, Bulma came up with her endgame plan: Trunks would travel back in time and stop the androids from existing in the first place.
B: So, Trunks went back 20 years as a Mysterious Youth, easily using his skills to kill both Mecha-Frieza and his dad, King Cold. He then secretly spilled the beans to Goku, who came back from Yardrat after his duel with Frieza on Namek. Trunks warned everyone that three years from now, two androids would emerge and destroy the world, and gave Goku the medicine he needed to cure the future heart virus. However, the kid screwed up! He forgot to tell the Z Fighters the names of the androids and they instead fought Androids 19 and 20! WHAT AN IDIOT!
W: This was the first backfire of Trunks' plan. Instead of stopping the androids, he was only making them stronger. However, someone else interfered with Trunks' plan to take care of the androids themself.
B: So...future saved?
W: More like worsened. This second time-traveler was Cell, a bio-android who sent himself back in time from a future distant from that of Trunks' to absorb Androids 17 and 18. He would achieve his Perfect Form and become an even more monstrous threat than THEY were.
B: Which he ultimately ended up doing. Breaking off of anime tradition, Trunks didn't wait until his opponent finished transforming, but Eren Yeager he was not.
W: To test his new power, Cell invaded a TV station and broadcasted a message: In ten days time, he would host his own tournament called the Cell Games, where he would challenge the world's strongest martial artists. If no one managed to defeat him, he would destroy the planet.
B: Damn! Looks like there IS no future for Trunks anymore! Unless…
W: With the rest of the Z Fighters, Trunks trained relentlessly, even joining his father in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in hopes of surpassing the Super Saiyan form. In the chamber, he discovered a new form: Super Saiyan Third Grade.
B: Third Grade must mean only dumb elementary kids like this form, because even though it makes you super strong and super buff, it also makes you super slow.
W: But Goku, who survived the heart virus, saw that Trunks wouldn't be the one to defeat Cell. Instead, it would be Gohan. Because he was far stronger than any of them AND has the potential to go Super Saiyan 2.
B: And Gohan did just that, beating Cell in the most EPIC KAMEHAMEHA BEAM STRUGGLE EVER! Riiight after Goku sacrificed himself, but also after Trunks was killed by Cell...Well, until he was brought back by the Dragon Balls!
W: With Cell gone, Trunks returned to his own time to destroy the future androids and later future Cell. Later on, he even wielded the Z Sword and stopped Dabura and Babidi from awakening Majin Buu. But several years later, something even WORSE happened.
B: His hair suddenly turned BLUE!
W: No no, the future was attacked by-.
B: Wait, is that Goku? Why the hell is he evil? And...ALIVE?
W: Don't worry, Trunks was confused, too. But eventually, after traveling back to the past again, he learned that it was actually someone called Goku Black, who also followed him back and destroyed his Time Machine.
B: Why didn't the androids think of that?!
W: Well, when Bulma fixed the Time Machine, Trunks brought Vegeta and the REAL Goku back with him to their future, where they learned that Goku Black wasn't really Goku, but actually the Supreme Kai Zamasu.
B: Who ALSO teamed up with ANOTHER Zamasu from Trunks' timeline. And then they fused into the all-powerful god known as...Zamasu.
W: To stop him, Trunks took it upon himself to stop the crazy mortal-hating god. He unlocked Super Saiyan Rage, an all-new form, and even fused his own sword with the energy of a Spirit Bomb! Which he used to destroy Zamasu.
B: By slicing Zamasu in half! GROIN FIRST! We've talked about how painful Johnny Cage's nut punch is, so a FREAKING SWORD HAS TO BE WAY MORE PAINFUL!
W: However, Zamasu was immortal, and the only way to truly kill him was by erasing the entire universe. Which Future Zeno did.
B: So, Trunks is stuck in the past, but soon made it his new home. Even if he has to deal with his younger brattier self. Well, until he went into a new future timeline.
W: Still, Trunks is undeniably a fierce and strong warrior. Like others, he can fly, wield ki, and even go Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 like his father. He also possesses incredible swordplay and has powerful attacks, such as the Finish Buster, the Shining Sword Attack, the Heat Dome Attack, and the Burning Attack.
Popup: Trunks possesses other attacks he got from other fighters, such as Tien's Solar Flare, Gohan's Masenko, and even his father's Final Flash and Gallick Gun.
B: Wonder what gestures he's making with those jutsu hand seal things? Maybe middle finger F-Yous to his opponents before blasting them with a fireball.
W: Trunks also has a remarkable set of feats. Not only did he destroy Zamasu, he also fought the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, escaped from the Prison Planet, took down Frieza's army without even breaking a sweat, and even qualified as a Time Patroller, whose goal is to prevent history from being altered by forces of evil.
Popup: This is actually an alternate version of Trunks known as Xeno Trunks. But it's likely Trunks can also do what he can do.
B: Well, that kinda makes PERFECT sense, since he's always hopping across time like that.
W: But it wasn't easy. Altering history was AGAINST the ways of the Time Patrollers, even if his acts were to protect Earth's peace. So they must've let him off easy.
B: Well, whether the past, present, or future is in peril, Trunks will always be there to fight for peace, freedom, and hope.
Trunks: Goku isn't the only Super Saiyan. There's another one right here!
SILVER:
(The Ruined World of the Future - Sonic the Hedgehog)
W: 200 years from now, the world will be nothing but a harsh, bleak place, where all live in eternal darkness. Life will be a struggle, and people will live without hope.
B: Why? That stupid human girlfriend of Sonic was killed! So the events of the game wouldn't happen and Sonic wouldn't die!
W: Well, ONLY if a powerful fire beast wasn't inside Elise. Now free to terrorize the world, Iblis would ravage it for many years. However, ONE hedgehog sought to fix things, find out what happened, and stop Iblis.
B: So, Sonic's descendant? It's been 200 years, so it CAN'T be his son. Oh wait, he's still dead.
(Dreams of an Absolution - Sonic The Hedgehog)
W: Silver The Hedgehog possesses psychokinetic abilities, a trait most people seem to have in the future. With this ability, he can telekinetically lift objects such as cars, hover and fly in the air, and grab anything out of mid-air. Except lasers.
B: Pretty neat, since he can't run that fast. Well, still fast, just not Sonic fast.
W: Alongside Blaze the Cat, Silver sought to stop Iblis once and for all. Except there was just one problem: Iblis couldn't be destroyed. He would just be reborn like a phoenix from the ashes.
B: Until a guy called Mephiles appeared, who was definitely NOT sketchy at all! He told the two that the one who caused all the destruction and released Iblis in the first place was someone called "The Iblis Trigger". And that happened to be Sonic himself.
W: So, Silver and Blaze were sent back in time to the kingdom of Solleanna to find and destroy the Iblis Trigger. Eventually, Silver found Sonic, but despite all of his psychokinetic powers, he was still no match for Sonic. He tried again at a terminal station, oblivious to Sonic's true motives involving Elise (a woman who somehow remembered seeing Silver before). However, he was ambushed and beaten AGAIN, this time by someone who looked just like Mephiles.
B: Yeah, Shadow showed up and told Silver the truth, as well as SHOWING him by having them go back in time to 10 years ago: It turns out Mephiles had tricked Silver, and that he and Iblis were the same person: Two halves of an interdimensional god-like being called Solaris.
W: And from the Duke of Solleanna, Silver learned how to finally banish Iblis: By sealing him within a royal soul.
B: But since Blaze was a royal soul and not Silver, she sadly had to do the sacrificial honors. Well, at least the future's saved!
W: However, there IS a way Iblis could be released: If the soul housing him cried.
Popup: Elise was told to never cry from her father, but thought it was to be a proud and iconic political reason, and NOT a cataclysmic reason. Whoops.
B: Which is EXACTLY what happened when Mephiles did what Eggman never had the guts to. And with Iblis free, the two of them fused to become Solaris and once again doom the future.
W: So, after collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds, and...uh...THAT scene, Silver, Shadow, and many others were able to revive Sonic, who passed his power down to the other two hedgehogs to fight Solaris.
B: Thus, Silver became the all-powerful Super Silver! His psychokinesis is supercharged, he's completely invincible, sidestep with Turbo Boost, and catch and throw projectiles back with the Shield of Light. But like the other two hedgehogs, this Super Form has one weakness: That goddamn time limit!
W: Like Super Sonic and Super Shadow, Silver needs a steady supply of rings to maintain his Super Form, or he will revert back after a minute. Still, they were able to finish off Solaris and end his threat once and for all.
Popup: Due to his temporal omnipresence, Solaris could not easily be defeated. So, Super Shadow fought him in the past, Super Sonic fought him in the present, and Super Silver fought him in the future.
B: And Elise blew out the little Solaris candle, making sure that god-awful game never even happened in the first place! But wait! If Solaris never grew strong enough, Iblis would never exist, and since the future was all peaceful already, Silver never went back in time to fight Sonic! So why does he keep popping up?!
W: Eggman, that's why. Or, more importantly, his descendant, Eggman Nega.
B: Oh, racists are gonna HATE that!
W: Silver was responding to a distress signal, though he didn't know its source. He later discovered that Nega was linked to it and was using a strange camera to turn people into cards. All so that he could change his destiny by turning the whole planet into a card that he can control. And his base of operations would be Onyx Island, or Angel Island from the future.
B: So, to stop Nega, Silver pursued him back in time with the mission to bring Eggman Nega back to the future where he belongs. He also met and fought Sonic for the first time! Again.
W: Ever since, Silver has returned time and time again to help Sonic and friends on their adventures.
B: Silver can also do WAY more stuff with his Psychokinesis stuff! He can throw Psychic Knives, teleport, and even form a massive meteor from cars and wreckage!
W: However, Silver's combat, fighting moves, and abilities mostly revolve around his Psychokinesis. He also uses it for ESP, which gives him extra-sensory perception and can cause limited vertigo to his opponents. However, he needs to maintain focus when using Psychokinesis, because he will lose it if he is caught off-guard by a surprise attack. And if he overuses it, he will become extremely fatigued and will need Rings to regain his energy. Which is where his backup abilities come in. He can also use Chaos Control and even Color Power from Wisps, but can only transform into Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill, and Indigo Asteroid.
B: Silver's also shown himself to be a skilled psychic warrior. He fought briefly on par with Infinite, who was strong enough to easily defeat Sonic, competed in the Olympics, helped Sonic fight the Ifrit, suspended the entire Resistance in mid-air, joined the Secret Freedom Fighters, and even destroyed Zor's owl mech!
W: Time and time again, Silver's future has been altered many times over. And no matter whatever it takes, Silver will always ensure that he will make a good future.
Silver: Your actions will condemn us all! For the future of our world, I will destroy you!
THE FIGHT:
W: Alright, the combatants are set! And we've run the data through all possibilities! Let's end this debate once and for all!
B: It's time for a DEATH BATTLLLLEEEEEEE!

(Heroes Of Hope - Brandon Yates)
Trunks arrives to Crisis City in the Time Machine, but is confused once he steps out.
Trunks: No...this CAN'T be my future! Have I made things even worse?! Wait...I don't think this is MY timeline... (He looks back to the Time Machine) Must be busted. I'll have to find a way to fix it. But first, where the heck am I?
He wanders the land until he notices a blockage ahead of him glow a cyan blue.
Trunks: Hmm?
He readies his sword, and the wreckage is thrown away by Silver.
Silver: So, you've been right here all along. You must be the Iblis Trigger!
Trunks: What?! What are you talking about?!
Silver: Apparently you haven't gone back to the past and caused all this in the first place yet. Which means I FINALLY have my chance to stop you!
Trunks: But...I would NEVER do anything like this! I-!
He is psychically pushed into a building. Groaning, he manages to recover.
Trunks: Fine then. Gotta deal with this guy first.
DB Announcer: FIGHT!
Trunks begins his rapid arm movements.
Trunks: BURNING-!
Suddenly, he glows blue and freezes in place.
Trunks: Guh! W-What?! I...I can't...MOVE!
Silver: It's no use! Prepare to die!
He begins to slam Trunks into the ground again and again. However, Trunks unleashes his ki and is able to break free from the psychic hold. He warps behind Silver and delivers a series of heavy blows before kicking him away. He then follows up with his sword with a flurry of attacks, and ultimately slices right through...a boulder.
Trunks: What?! Where'd he go?!
Many levitated debris is thrown at him. Reacting quickly, Trunks slashes them apart and blasts them with ki, but once he deals with the last one, his sword is yanked out of his grip.
Trunks: ?!
Silver pulls the sword towards him and breaks it.
Silver: There! One less problem!
Trunks: Did you REALLY think I ALWAYS relied on that? Well, I've got something else!
Trunks powers up and goes Super Saiyan.
Silver: WOAH! A Super Form without needing a Chaos Emerald?!
Trunks then fires Ki blasts at Silver, who retaliates with Psychic Knives. Both cancel each other out, but Trunks takes this opportunity to charge forward. Silver holds him back with Psychokinesis.
Silver: It's-!
Suddenly, Trunks powers through and delivers a powerful blow, sending Silver flying into a destroyed skyscraper.
Trunks: Your funeral.
He then powers up and charges up an attack. Silver notices this when he recovers.
Trunks: GALLICK GUN!
He fires at Silver, who retaliates with a nearby Cyan Wisp.
Colors Announcer: LASER!
Silver zips through the Gallick Gun and attacks Trunks with blazing speed before changing with an Indigo Wisp.
Colors Announcer: ASTEROID!
Silver gathers various vehicles in his gravitational pull and launches them at Trunks, who barely manages to dodge and counters.
Trunks: MASENKO!
The beam blasts Silver into the distance. Gathering his strength, Trunks picks up his shattered sword and repairs it with his Ki. Suddenly…
Colors Announcer: DRILL!
Trunks: WHA?!
He blocks an oncoming Yellow Drill with his sword just in time, the two clashing against each other. To break the clash, Trunks transforms into Super Saiyan 2, then delivers a series of more powerful blows to Silver before knocking him back.
Trunks: (panting) Now you've done it. This may destroy the planet, but I don't have a choice!
He powers up with another strong attack.
Trunks: FINAL FLASH!
The beam launches towards Silver, who gasps and whips out a spare Chaos Emerald.
Silver: CHAOS CONTROL!
Time stops just before the beam hits him. Silver breathes a sigh of relief before levitating above the beam.
Silver: Man, that was close. I'm not sure how long this will last, but he's not the only one that can go for the gold.
With the other six Chaos Emeralds circling him, Silver harnesses their full power to transform into Super Silver just when time resumes. Trunks misses and spots his transformed opponent.
Trunks: What?!
Super Silver throws a car at Trunks, who simply charges forward and smashes through it. He moves at high speeds and vanishes from view.
Super Silver: It's ALSO useless to hide from me!
Reaching out with his Psychokinesis, Super Silver tries to use ESP to find where his foe is. Suddenly, an ambush from behind makes him lose control, and thus vulnerable to a series of attacks. Super Silver quickly recovers, though, and catches Ki blasts with the Shield of Light and throws them right back. He uses Psychokinesis to make debris-forged spikes chase Trunks, but Super Silver blasts them when they are tricked into becoming directed at him.
Super Silver: This is the end! Prepare to meet your doom!
Using his supercharged Psychokinesis, Super Silver lifts massive skyscrapers from the ground.
Super Silver: Take THIS!
He throws them down at high speeds, and the heavy blows strike Trunks critically. He recovers, but is knocked back into his Base Form.
Trunks: N… Not yet. I can't give up!
He tries to power up, but only powers up to Super Saiyan Third Grade.
Trunks: No! Not THIS!
Super Silver: Looks like you're at a disadvantage! Then I guess it's time to finish this!
He throws large objects at Trunks, who smashes them with his strength. However, his lack of speed gets him bound tightly and trapped in more debris.
Super Silver: Time for you to disappear, Iblis Trigger! CHAOS-!
Suddenly, time runs out and he reverts back.
Silver: Control?
Silver quickly forms a backup plan as Trunks breaks free and reverts back. Seeing more debris lying around, he gathers them all up into a massive meteor.
Silver: It's over! METEOR SMASH!
Silver throws the meteor downwards, and Trunks tries to push it back with another Gallick Gun. However, the meteor is too strong to be blasted apart, and Trunks ends up holding it back with his bare hands. However, in the reflection of a shattered window as part of the meteor, Trunks notices the hilt of his sword.
And then, the meteor made an impact, crushing him.
Silver: Finally. It's over…
Suddenly, the meteor is slashed apart by Trunks' sword, as he emerges as Super Saiyan Rage.
Trunks: FOR YOU!
Silver tries to use Psychokinesis as defense, but Trunks manages to attack from every direction as an ambush at incredible speeds. Finally, he slashes across Silver's chest, making him plummet to the ground. Trunks speeds down beneath him and charges up his Heat Dome Attack.
Trunks: FOR THE FUTURE!
He fires, and Silver screams as he is incinerated into nothing. Finally, Trunks reverts back to his Base Form, panting heavily.
Trunks: I...I did it...Now, where was I?
RESULTS:
DB Announcer: KO!
B: Hehe, I can see why he's called Silver.
W: Silver had the advantage in terms of environmental control. But he DID have several weaknesses: His Super Form had a time limit, and he needed extreme focus to use his Psychokinesis. Plus, he could only use THREE Color Powers.
B: And Trunks had dealt with stronger foes. Remember how he managed to slice Silver's meteor clean in half? Well, he destroyed King Cold's spaceship with just a single Ki attack! Plus, he had WAY more Super Forms that could easily outclass Super Silver.
W: Trunks has also fought opponents with psychic abilities before, like with Mecha-Frieza. And thanks to his Saiyan power and training, Trunks was able to cut the alien up like he was nothing.
B: Looks like THIS hedgehog is getting the Silver medal.
W: The winner is Trunks.
