The circus

Kakashi was excited. A circus has arrived! In his town! The circus, however, didn't give much confidence to his friends, according to them he looked "gloomy" and they were not going to go.

"Kakashi," Rin said. "I don't have much confidence in the circus, it would be best not to go near the place."

"Rin, don't tell me you believe those rumors? It's just a circus! And I'm going, alone or not."

"Please take care of yourself, okay? And tell us how you are, maybe I'll go with you another day."

And, armed with courage and going with Pakkun, he went to buy his ticket. However, the place was almost empty. Was he going too early? Were they about to leave? But determined, he decided to move on, for he lost nothing by asking.

The old man who manned the booth had an expressionless look, it reminded him of a robot.

"Good afternoon, young man, do you want to buy a ticket?"

"Hi, yeah. What time is the show? And my dog is coming with me, you are okay with that?"

"You're in luck, boy! Nobody wanted to come buy tickets and we were wondering whether to stay or not, so you'll enjoy the show for yourself! And don't worry, neither you nor your dog will cause any problems. What is your name? My name is Hiruzen, nice to meet you boy. And sorry for the rudeness."

"Nice to meet you sir. I'm Kakashi and my dog's name is Pakkun. Should I wait or what should I do?"

"Just go inside and don't worry, okay? You can get to know the tent inside and you won't be bored."

Taking the ticket and looking a little strange at Pakkun while the dog whimpered a bit, he decided to enter the tent.

He felt, strangely, another energy. The place was dark but not quite. He could see different corners of the store and some species of doors.

Kakashi kept walking with the ticket in hand and the leash of his dog tight on his fist.

"Hello?"

"Hello stranger".

Scared, he looked to his left and saw a young man his age. He had a scar across the bridge of his nose and his hair was tied in a high ponytail.

"What are you doing here? I thought no one was coming."

Heart racing and a little scared, he decided to show the purchased ticket.

"An old man told me to come in, that they were going to put on the show anyway."

"Very good then. Your name? I am Iruka by the way and I'm an aerialist."

"Well my name is Kakashi and I'm in high school. I came with my dog, Pakkun."

"Welcome! I'm really glad to see you here. We thought no one would be coming."

Iruka's smile was getting brighter and more beautiful, Kakashi was more and more captivated so he didn't notice the change around him or what was happening outside the tent.

The doors and corridors grew wider and wider as the circus tent was surrounded by heavy fog.

"Kakashi, come with me. Take my hand and be my partner. The circus called you, Kakashi, that's why no one came or appeared here. Please take my hand and help me to help you so that you don't get lost in the infinite gates of our great circus."

And the silver-haired teenager, feeling no greater emotion than a slight sadness at leaving his father behind, took the brown-haired teenager's hand and walked alongside him without ever feeling remorse or missing his old home.

Now, every time a circus appeared in the fog, two eternal teenagers in love, accompanied by a dog, were seen holding hands, waiting for some soul to be called by the circus to be their guide in this eternity.

End.
