Chapter 1:

Prompts 1-5

1. Rain

Marinette threw the towel over Chat Noir's dripping wet hair before he got a single word in. "If you start going on about how it's raining cats and dogs, I'm throwing you right back and don't think I won't."

2. Ghibli AU

Chat blinked at the sight of him in a sharp-looking dress suit neatly professionally drawn in her sketchbook, complete with a silk top hat and an old-school cane. "Are you thinking about dressing me up, Princess?"

She shook her head. "Nope, I was just day dreaming about Haru and the baron and got inspired."

"Haru and the Who?"

3. Dirt

Chat had meant to be nothing but cattishly charming when, after seeing the brown smudge on Marinette's cheek and instantly labeling it as either wonderfully sweet chocolate or tasty brownie mix, he smoothly leaned in and kissed it off her unsuspecting cheek.

He then spent the next half hour viciously gargling and spitting into her bathroom to get off what he now knew was mud speckled on her cheek from when she stood too close to a rather nasty puddle in the streets. While all Marinette could do was struggle vocally between blushing like a fever, laughing like a twat and yelling at him in mortification.

4. Cafe

It had been an honest mistake to color-code the waitress uniform for her school's fundraiser fair cafe' to the same theme as Chat's superhero suit; with a charming black bodice seamed with vivid green ribbons crisscrossing the front and back, ending a lovely bow on her lower spine just above her layered skirt that was black chiffon on the top with subtle green lace at the bottom. But in spite of this, with the matching Mary-Janes, classy stockings, a set of black cat ears and a simple bell choker to match; she was proud for how well the outfit looked on her girlfriends, herself included. With a record-breaking numbers of boys (and some girls) in agreement.

As such, she couldn't say it was entirely too surprising that Chat would up smacking straight on into the brick wall of the building opposite her school the minute he caught sight of her during his patrol.

5. Nightmares

When awful nightmares of cold blue eyes and pure white masks haunted her in sleep, she had to stop herself every time she was inches away from rousing Tikki. To wake her up and say the three little words that would allow her to yo-yo away onto the rooftops of Paris and run herself into exhaustion or daybreak. She also had to swallow the urge to want to go and find the very same black cat who inadvertently left her so restless these nights like a bitter pill.

After all, how in the world do you explain to your partner in-fighting crime that he was also what you feared the most?
