"Hi, Halt!" I shouted as I flung open the door of the cabin. Halt nearly dropped his mug of coffee and turned around slowly to face me, nursing his cup of coffee. My eyes went to the glare on his face and took in the longbow and quiver hanging on some hooks by the door, in arm's reach." Er, you can enjoy your coffee now, sorry for disturbing you, BYE!" I yelled and ran away from the cabin.
As I ran, I felt an arrow whiz a few millimetres above my head. I leapt into a nearby bush and tried to stay as still as possible. My heart pounded in my chest as I hoped that Halt would not see me. Just then, an arrow thudded into a leaf which was just above my head and Halt called out,"It could have been between your eyes!" I jumped out of the bush and ran all the way to Redmont Castle, where I hid with Pauline for the rest of the day.
