Chapter 1:
My name is Eiburuku Kyouya or just call me Eibu. I am the eldest son of Akua Fugetsu-Kyouya and Mitsuru G. Kyouya. I am also an eighth grader at Lake Yugyupacho Junior High School who watches used to watch anime a lot. I used to watch shounen anime but my parents forced me to watch and read KonoSuba. They told me to watch and read it everyday and it was agonizing. I guess that may be it for my introduction as our story begins here. It was stormy and rainy today. My brother Yuichi, wants to play outside in the rain but I couldn't go out because I felt sick. I just made my brother a paper duck to play with outside. Yuichi left the house at 09:10, but never came back. For 3 days, my family and the police searched the entire town and its neighboring village for my brother, but they haven't found him yet. My life was short and small without him. The next day, my parents told me that Yuichi was found dead. There was nothing but a trail of blood. The police said it might be wolves, snakes, dogs, or any kind of wild beast. I was crying after hearing that my brother died. It just doesn't make any sense also; my brother disappeared for 3 days and may be alive. How would he end up in the forest if he was outside near the house playing with the paper boat I made? I was always thinking of that in my mind. The police found the body next to the river just a few blocks away from Kawamae Station. The burial of my younger brother was scary and sad for me. I cried for a week, missing him so much and also wondering what my life would be like without him.
Chapter 2:
It was almost the end of 8th grade this school year. My friends and I were excited to see each of us in Lake Yugyupacho Junior High School until I met a beautiful girl named Megumi Fuku. She literally holds a mop just to beat up perverts who go near her. This girl just ain't an ordinary girl. She may look cute and innocent, but she is an extremely crazy girl. People say she was a "demon-something student" and others also say she is addicted to watching explosions. Lastly she is described as a Chuunibyou Janitor Girl or basically a ripoff of Rikka Takanashi from Chu-2. Many boys usually are afraid to talk or to go to her due to her chuunibyou personality and that she hates perverts. 3 days left until school ends and summer finally starts. I left school already to go to the drugstore to buy medicine for Yuki, my sister. I suddenly bumped into Megumi, who was buying napkins. That's also when Yosuku saw me and Megumi together. Yosuku directly snapped a picture of me bumping her. Megumi then exploded in front of my face. She fainted afterward. I saw the same mop on her right hand. Having forgotten so much about KonoSuba I thought to myself whether that mop was really her staff. My memories of that show were all coming back to me. But that was just the beginningI had second-degree burns because of that explosion. Going back to the house, I directly went to the bathroom and tended my own burns there. I had to rest directly in my room and could never stop thinking about her. She was cute to me, rather than being a crazy and "demon-something" girl.
Chapter 3:
Early this morning, I woke up receiving a letter with the same photo Jose took in the drugstore and it was sent to everyone. I was so shocked and was so mad at Yosuku that he posted it to everyone, especially my friends. I felt so embarrassed that I couldn't help myself hearing all the random conversations they had about my recent embarrassment. Megumi went straight to exploding me again with the same mop, which was even worse than yesterday, and I had more second-degree burns. "Man, she literally slept in that drugstore didn't she?", I thought to myself because of her fainting condition. Many people laughed at me and Megumi. Megumi directly crawled out of school very slowly and cried in the old, run-down but clean public bathroom next to it. I wanted to talk to her, until she screamed for help. I directly kicked the old bathroom's door open and saw a monster when it opened, but it was not any ordinary monster. His eyes were scary, his fingers were like monster claws, his mouth had like, 200 sharp teeth, and his costume was just like a soldier in a fantasy setting. I directly grabbed Megumi out of the old, run-down bathroom, but before I tried to grab her, the monster attacked Megumi and I got a broken pipe to hit the face of the monster, for it was about to eat her alive. I carried Megumi all the way to my house and tended to her injuries.
Chapter 4:
Onto the third person perspective now. Megumi woke up and was suddenly surprised to be sleeping at Eibu's house. The guy she hated, out of all places, rescued her and she said sorry to him for exploding him in both the drugstore and the school. Eibu directly forgave Megumi and his heart started beating fast. Megumi asked Eibu if he was dreaming of Yosuku, being the monster they saw. Eibu also asked himself if the clown might be the cause of his younger brother's death. Both of them hurried to change into new clothes and bath, but the thing is, Eibu was a shy boy who hadn't ever seen a girl changing. He asked Megumi to bathe first but Megumi was scared of bathing alone already after that incident. So Eibu bathed first, but he did not know Megumi is also good at lockpicking doors. Megumi directly went inside and saw Eibu naked and both were directly shocked but they had to deal with it. Eibu and Megumi ran to school together until they saw Yosuku walking by. Eibu tried to punch Yosuku, but he shapeshifted directly into the monster they first saw. Megumi and Eibu fled for safety in the school. When they turned around, Yosuku disappeared. It was a nightmare for Eibu and Megumi. When they entered the school, Eibu and Megumi saw one of Eibu's friends, Kaoru Yutobaki, dead in the lobby of the school. Kaoru's arms were ripped off brutally and he had a big hole that showed his innards. Everyone was so shocked that Kaoru was brutally murdered by a wild animal. Eibu and Megumi told everyone that it ain't no animal at all.
Chapter 5:
No one believes in Eibu and Megumi so they accuse Yosuku for it. Yosuku had so many backups that he looked like he was an innocent boy and his friends also said that he was always at his house playing his games. Eibu directly punched Yosuku's face, resulting in a fight between them. Yosuku whispered to Eibu, "You will die next to her..." Kazuka Sato arrived at the lobby and quelled the fight between Eibu and Yosuku. Eibu started crying and blamed Yosuku for everything, especially his brother's death. Megumi directly grabbed Eibu's hands and dragged him to the computer room. Megumi hugged Yosuku to make him comfortable and to stop him from crying. Megumi and Eibu planned to stop Yosuku before he would start murdering more people in the town. Kazuka looked for Eibu and explained to Eibu that he wanted Eibu to understand what was happening in the town and that a clown was terrorizing it. The truth was revealed that Yosuku is the monster, thanks to Kazuka's explanation. Kazuka, Eibu, and Megumi now had to make a plan to stop Jose.
Chapter 6:
Another news report said that a child was killed and was found 2 days later in a grassy field. Eibu and Megumi together with Kazuka researched for more information about monsters. They even learned that Yosuku got into an accident when he was 12 years old then died in the hospital, but then resurrected later on thanks to a ritual by the so-called Demon King. The only way to stop Yosuku was to find his weak point; his body was actually made of a vulnerable type of slime. 2 days later, more news reports emerged because a child and a father going missing while they were camping. Another trail of blood was found in the sewers. The bodies of the father and his child were found near the sewage treatment plant.
Chapter 7:
On the day before the three were about to defeat Yosuku, Eibu talks with Megumi and confesses his love to Megumi. Megumi ignores the words for a while, for she wasn't that sure of her answer to Eibu. Eibu also kissed Megumi, which he also expressed that he loves Megumi; Megumi slaps Eibu's face for she hasn't kissed anyone in her life. Kazuka arrived and had prepared his weapons. They were an AK-47, M16, .45 caliber, some blades, a katana called Chunchunmaru Jr., a baseball bat, and some smoke bombs. The three were prepared to fight against Yosuku, but before they could leave the house, Megumi had to go to the bathroom. Megumi asked Eibu to accompany her even though Eibu was a boy. Eibu couldn't even say no for he loves Megumi and that Eibu was going crazy to the point that he was about to become a pervert. Megumi knew that he would love watching her body because she can see it in Eibu's face plus she understands a boy's mind. Later on, Kazuka went missing. Eibu and Megumi wondered if Kazuka went ahead: meanwhile Yosuku wrote a note saying, "GIVE UP GIVE UP, YOU FOOLS! YOUR TIME IN THIS WORLD WILL END."
Chapter 8:
Eibu and Megumi found out that Yosuku kidnapped Kazuka and that they had to rescue Kazuka on the way. Upon reaching the sewers, Megumi kisses Eibu. Eibu's heart just went as big as a bomb that just exploded, for he was shocked that Megumi was also in love with him. Both of them went deep into the sewers. Megumi and Eibu held hands until they saw Yosuku, who was about to eat Kazuka alive. Megumi tries to save Kazuka from Yosuku but was badly injured after being bitten by Yosuku. Eibu cried on the unconscious Megumi for he couldn't stop the bleeding, until Eibu had a unique power that awakened inside of him; he showed off the divine powers of the archpriest Aqua and wielded the sword of Mitsurugi Kyouya. Eibu was able to knock down Yosuku for a while. Eibu and Kazuka grab Megumi and carry her out of the sewer. Before they were able to to feel safe, Yosuku told Eibu that what Eibu possessed was Aqua's divine powers since his mother was basically Aqua in disguise just under the alias Akua Fugetsu-Kyouya. He basically told the same thing about his possession of Gram, his father's sword. Mitsuru G. Kyouya with his real name was revealed by Yosuku to be Mitsurugi Kyouya. Eibu had the ability to possess it somehow because they offered their powers to him at birth, where they lost them and became regular humans leading to his younger sister and brother being born fully-human.
Chapter 9:
An intense battle between Eibu and Yosuku ensued. Yosuku also used the power given to him by his mother, Lalati Dustiness Ford-Sato and shapeshifted into the legendary Lalatina Dustiness Ford (Darkness), the true name of his mother. He even gained possession of Chunchunmaru Jr., as he was also the son of Kazuka Sato, the man whom he was now holding captive. Yosuku was getting scared of Eibu because his powers were stronger than him, because the Demon King's power dwindled even though he was resurrected by his loyalists 3 years after his defeat. Eibu asked Yosuku how he became a slime person. When both learned that they were raised by their mothers, who were also former members of Kazuma Satou's party, they also realized that both their fathers were also rivals toward each other while they were in the Fantasy World. Kazuma, crying for his long-lost son, eventually told the 2 persons to stop fighting, for he was the father of Yosuku and a friend of Eibu's mother. Yosuku's mission was to fill up the mantle Kazuma and Darkness left for him. Eibu's mission meanwhile, was to also fill up the mantle his mother, Aqua and his father, Mitsurugi left behind, something they never told him about instead telling him about their own anime. Both were to defeat the Demon King together if he was to be resurrected. Kazuma, reunited with his long-lost son, revealed that he had been looking for Yosuku all this time after hearing reports of him being alive even if three years after his untimely death had passed.
Chapter 10:
Eibu and Yosuku with Kazuma, decided to ally together and the three teleported into the Fantasy World after Eris witnessed their heroic acts: in the middle of Axel Town five years after the last time Kazuma was there. Megumi also revealed her real name to be just Megumin, the crazy explosion girl they heard about in the anime. The story will continue soon in the next volume when the 4 will get to know each other very well and that Yosuku will end his allegiance with the resurrected Demon King. To be continued...
