Hello, everyone, this is just a short collection of awkward scenarios that I think would happen between the Teen Titans, them being roommates and all.
I don't own the Teen Titans, and happy reading!
Raven, Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy were in the common room. Cyborg and Beast Boy were in the kitchen, tossing around various ingredients from the fridge and arguing over tofu versus real meat. Robin, pacing back and forth, was talking with Titans East member Speedy over his communicator, gleefully going on and on about the best weapons to engage in combat with and the most effective material to build them with. Finally, Raven was hovering around two feet above the couch, trying and failing to mediate because of the ruckus around her. Served her right for meditating in the same room as all of her friends, with the exception of Starfire.
Where was Starfire, anyway?
As if to answer that question, a terrified shriek erupted from somewhere in the Tower. It was definitely Starfire.
Robin dropped his communicator and spun around, leaping into action. "Starfire! Are you alright? Where are you?" he bellowed frantically. The idea of her being in danger or in harm's way scared him senseless.
Cyborg ominously told Beast Boy, "To be continued, grass stain." Beast Boy rolled his eyes mockingly and then shouted, "Star? Dude, are you good?"
"I am in the lavatory!" Starfire screamed in response. "I believe I require the medical attention!"
"Medical-" Raven began, bewildered. Then her eyes widened. "Crap. Um, guys-" she addressed the boys before her, poised for attack. "I...think I got this one."
Robin stared at her, appalled. "She needs medical attention. I think this needs all of us." With that, he rushed past the floating Azarathian and burst through the exit doors. Cyborg and Beast Boy, alarmed looks on their faces, were hot on his heels.
Raven groaned. Why didn't anyone listen to her? She took a deep breath and pulled her hood over her head, spreading her arms and flying after her fellow Titans.
She arrived in the hall in front of the bathroom door, where Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Robin were gathered. "Starfire?" Robin was pleading. "Open the door, I need to know if you're okay."
There was silence on the other side of the door, then a muffled "I do not think you will want to see me at this time." The alien's voice was quivery.
"Star, I don't care what you look like. I'm worried about you. We all are. Please, open the door."
"As you wish, Robin. But do not claim that I did not caution you."
The team waited expectantly, worriedly, as they heard small footsteps, and the door slid open slowly.
There was Starfire, face full of panic. And on her hands was a mess of blood- on her skirt as well. Her boots were off, leaving her barefoot. There was a large cluster of toilet paper scattered on the ground, blood soaked into them. Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy gaped at the gruesome looking mess, masks of horror on their faces.
Raven pursed her lips. She knew exactly what this was.
"Star-" Robin started, but was cut off by a harried Raven. "Guys, I got this."
Cyborg turned to face Raven, a suspicious look on his face. "There's blood. Everywhere. And we're concerned about it. Why are you so casual about this? What do you know that we don't?"
Now Beast Boy and Robin were unsure of what was going on, looking from the hyperventilating Starfire to the awkwardly stoic Raven.
"Okay, look, guys- Starfire's started her period," Raven blurted. She'd been trying to be covert about it for the Tamaranean's sake, but now the whole thing was out in the open, so she continued sheepishly despite the uncomfortable looks on the boys' faces. "Humans- they usually begin around the ages of 10 to 14, but I guess since she's not from around here, she started a while later."
Starfire, hearing Raven's words, began to ramble anxiously. "This is normal for human females? This is not horrible? Am I not dying? I am bleeding very profusely from my-"
"Okayyy." Raven cut her off, glancing back at the boys with a strangely knowing expression on her face. "That's enough of that."
Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg blinked. Then Beast Boy mumbled, "Um...okay. Well, I, uh, guess we'll just...let you guys take care of...yeah." The boys seemed to leave in a hurry after that.
Raven sighed, face warm, as she peered into the bloody disaster of a restroom and into Starfire's frightened face.
"Star...I think it's time I showed you some things."
Hey, everyone! This is the first chapter of the "Tower Troubles" collection. I'm just going to keep adding to this every new idea that I have, so this story probably won't be totally done for a long time! Hope you liked this first short story, and if you did, review and stay tuned! Have a great day or night!
