"Me and Scott are gonna go out and find some supplies and keep an eye on things out there" DJ informed Michonne as he and Scott got on their horses.
"Ok guys be safe" Michonne said to her two best men.
Scott and DJ rode out of the gates of Alexandria.
Scott then broke the silence between the two men "Do you ever wish for a normal life? Find a good woman, settle down and have kids?".
DJ turned and smiled " This is a normal life for me. I'm happy with what I have here".
"You don't ever think about having a family?" Scott asked.
"Nah I don't. You see, back before all this began there was someone and I loved her more than life itself. I'd have done anything for her but she ran off with my best friend" DJ explained as they continued riding side by side.
"Woah man, that is shit, I am sorry" Scott said.
"It's why I joined the saviours when this all began, I was so angry and hated the world and everyone in it and i just wanted to hurt people like I had been" DJ said.
"Well you are a good person now" Scott smiled.
"I just want to help people. I realised after what Negan and Simon did, it was wrong. I didn't want to be like them anymore" He then explained.
"You are doing so much good for Alexandria and everyone in it" Scott said. "I'm happy to call you my friend".
" Thanks mate, you are mine too. I'm happy now with my life" DJ smiled.
"Me too"Scott said before changing the subject " What does DJ stand for?" He asked.
"I don't tell anyone." DJ said seriously.
Scott decided to not press him further.
They came to a wooded area and got off their horses and tied them to trees.
They had their guns and knives strapped to their jeans.
Walkers were coming towards them, DJ and Scott attacked them by stabbing them in the head.
When they had killed them all, they could hear crying. The crying was coming from behind a tree. They both approached cautiously.
Behind the tree sat a young woman covered in blood and clearly afraid.
"Please don't hurt me" she pleaded.
DJ ran up to her and asked her" How many walkers have you killed?".
