Deep in the wood of Narnia, there stood a lamppost. Vines and leaves covered it, leaving it to be forgotten by all who lived in the world. The last people who would have been able to recognize it had disappeared decades ago.

The light in the lamppost had long since extinguished. However, on one clear night with stars twinkling in the sky, a roar rang out across the land, igniting the lamppost again. It was unheard by all Narnians but those most attuned to the magic of their land.

For months to come after the roar rang out, Narnians who heard it were drawn to the lamppost. They felt a pull calling them to journey to it.

When they arrived, the Narnians could feel the power around them, permeating the air around them. In an almost trance-like state, the Narnians walked towards the lamppost and rested a palm upon it.

Upon contact with the lamppost, the Narnians could feel their connection with Narnia deepen and expand. The Narnians felt power they couldn't quite put a name to flowing into them through the connection.

It took months for all the Narnians who heard the call to find their way to the lamppost, but when they had all gained their power, something new was born into Narnia. A completely new race belonged to Narnia and her lands.
