Piper McLean sobbed into her pillow, trying to erase the terrible things that happen on that quest.
Jason. Was. Gone. How many times thinking that would that stab her? How many times would it tear her apart? She got out of the bottom bunk of the bed, looked in the mirror and saw girl who was now a bit heavy from no exercise, and the junk food pile defiantly hadn't help. Her also eyes red and puffy, hair a bird nest, she wasn't the same girl a month ago, grief had changed her. She closed her eyes for a second trying to not see that, but then Jason came into view, so she quickly opened them up again.
"Hey Piper, how are you doing." Two stunning girls were standing that the door, one had blond hair and gray eyes. The one had short jet black hair and electric blue eyes. She was immediately ashamed of how bad she looked.
"Thalia, Annabeth, what are you doing here?"
"Pipes, look at you, you need to go back outside. You have to get over it okay! You have to move on, I loved him too but I am not moping around binge eating and crying. You need to move on. " Thalia said gently tried not to break the fragile girl.
Looking into Thalia eyes, she could see his electric blue eyes, his crooked smile, and his tiny little scar above his lip from trying to eat a stapler. She ran away quickly, tears coming back. He was her soulmate and without him Piper felt broken. Why did she break up with him? All the words she said about him not being right for her and blah blah blah were a lie. She tiptoed back into bed and sobbed until she drifted off to sleep that night.
Piper was standing into the light wondering what she was doing in this light tunnel, but a manly tall figure came into view."Jason" She said wishfully
"Piper, what happened to you? He asked in his deep manly voice, big blue eyes trying to comprehend this girl. Piper tried ran into his arms crying and screaming in joy, but ran right through him.
"Jason. Are you alive?" She asked confused
"Pipes I am not alive and you know that. I was sent to tell you that I have been put in Elysium, I died a hero." He said this with pride, his chest lifted slightly.
"Jason! That's wonderful!" Piper's voice trailed off, if she didn't die a hero, she might never see him again. Suddenly a brilliant (or so she thought) idea came to her head
"I'm going to save you Jason! I am going to come and help you come back!
"No Pipes No! I am happy here, and besides it's too dangerous!
"I coming for you Jason, I am coming for you." Those were the last words before Jason walked away back into the golden tunnel.
Piper's eyes fluttered open, and she felt alive for the first time and with so much power she ran out the door, ready to share her idea.
