Hello fellow readers. I am back again with another story. This the third story of the Crowstilloverse. Sequel to my second story Back to the Islands. The summary pretty much explains everything else. If your OC is not in the story or just a casual reader, you are still free to read this. Though I do recommend reading my previous two stories or at least the final four chapters of each one before reading this. There are major spoilers right off the bat. Like this one, you are about to read. Every single chapter will have an elimination. No non-elimination or double eliminations around here. With that over, happy reading!
A panoramic shot of Crowstillo Island is shown. Chris reveals his spectacular face, smiling at the camera.
"Yo," Chris greeted the watchers. "Welcome back folks to another season of Total Drama."
Scene changes to the host walking around the island, passing the destroyed castle.
"Little known fact, Total Drama has had more than seventy-five contestants on this show. This time, fourteen of them come back to win the fabulous cash prize once again."
Chris is now shown at a mess hall that resembles the one from Camp Wawanakwa.
"The campers will have to endure eating Chef's food in the new mess hall."
Chef opens the door angrily and glares at the host. "Chris, did you eat the dang turkey in the fridge that was for me only?"
Chris gulps and walks out of sight nervously. He then goes into the woods.
"They will be also facing off the creepy woods with various malicious animals." The host walks up to a bear and pulls out a few papers and a pen. "Hey there, I need you to sign this contract."
The bear shrugs and takes the pen to sign the contract.
"Thanks, dude, now act like a beast."
The brown grizzly bear salutes and proceeds to roar while running on all fours.
Chris is now in the caverns of Crowstillo Island. "They will also explore the unsolved mysteries of the caverns."
Scene changes to him on top of a thousand-foot cliff. "That is right folks, the fourteen lucky campers will be competing once again in Crowstillo Island. The prize is bigger than ever. Five… million… dollars!"
Chef comes into the scene with a silver case. Of course, inside the case is the five million dollars.
"Only the strongest, strategic, and determine campers could have a chance at all this money. Which let us face it, they will probably blow it in a week. Brought back are the contestants that have the status of all-star worthiness."
"They also have one more thing in common," Chef told his partner. "Well, almost all of them."
"That's right Chef, they want redemption for their past mistakes. And who doesn't like a nice redemption arc?"
Suddenly, two blimps are en route to land on the island. The first one is yellow while the second one is red. Chris's smile grows in delight.
"Well, looks like the campers have finally arrived," The host mentioned. "Who are these fourteen returning players? Find out now on TOTAL… DRAMA… RADIANT REDEMPTION!
The intro begins, with a camera popping out from a large pot containing Chef's revolting soup, then from a bird's nest on a tree, and then from an underground cavern. A smooth rising transition from the cavern to the ground floors of the island is shown. A clapper comes down to transition to the tall cliff.
Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine
A camera drone zooms past Chris who was about to drink his cup of coffee until the drone almost hits him. The camera drone goes up an immense cliff and heads straight into the ocean.
You guys are on my mind
Jared is shown struggling to swim back onto shore when a Venus flytrap grabs his shirt, pulling him out of the water.
You asked me what I wanted to be, and I think the answer is plain to see
Ingrid is sitting in a canoe, using one of her Venus flytrap extenders to pull Jared out of the water. The perfectionist smiles sheepishly at her.
I wanna be famous!
The camera pans to the woods, demonstrating Sami sitting on a rock. The theater girl is patting a bunny while various animals are beside her. A robotic pirate skeleton pops up from the ground. This scares Sami and the animals to run away.
I wanna live close to the sun
Casey is dancing in a canoe that is about to go over a waterfall. She anticipates this and jumps from the canoe.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won
Jeremy is seen on a log playing his electric guitar. Casey jumps onto him, which causes the log to break in two. Both fall.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
The camera pans to Violette leaning against the outhouse confessional. She points and laughs at the two campers falling. Chef soon pops out from the confessional, holding a large cleaver in his right hand. This scares Violette to run away in fear.
I'll get there one day
Yves and Georgia are inside the mess hall, where the two compete in an eating competition. Thanks to the terrible food, both their cheeks bulge, and the two vomit under the table.
Cuz' I wanna be famous
The camera goes through the mess hall and zooms to the beach where Knick is shown writing in his journal. Pharaoh runs into the shot, accidentally kicking sand at Knick, covering the journalist in the sand.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Pharoah stops to see Buck working on his torn robotic suit. Buck accidentally wires two cables incorrectly and causes an explosion.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
A pirate ship is nearby the island where Leon is using a sword, fending off Henry's squadron of robot skeletons. Henry, holding a sword in his left-hand goes for a surprise attack, but Leon blocks it with his sword.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The camera cuts to the campfire at night, where Christopher and Sara lean in for a kiss. Casey pops up between them, ruining the moment. The camera then pulls out to show the rest of the cast whistling the melody of the theme.
The intro ends and is quickly cut to the yellow blimp that is hovering over the island. Inside this yellow blimp lies seven returning competitors, six of them sitting on a long bench.
The camera shows a male with slick and medium black hair. He has an unbuttoned jacket with a Chinese symbol in the back that translates to the word courage. He also is wearing black pants and black sports shoes. He is very built and muscular showing his six-pack thanks to his unbuttoned jacket and a small scar on his chest. His eyes are two different covers. His left eye is red, and his right eye is black. He carries a belt with two knives and a hand fan. This is Christopher.
He is currently fanning himself with his hand fan. "Looks like Chris forgot to install an air conditioner."
Another male next to him rolls his eyes. The boy is half Filipino, half Taiwanese, but he still has the Asian ethnicity, having slightly tan skin. His facial features are more on the Taiwanese side and he has a thin body. He is wearing a black turtleneck sweater, khaki pants, and brown shoes. His black hair reaches just above his neck and is swept/gelled to the side. He has black square-framed glasses and is still using braces. This is Jared.
"He didn't forget dude. He just didn't feel like hiring someone to repair it," Jared said to Christopher.
A female is sitting next to Jared, full of excitement and anticipation. She has straight red velvet dyed hair that passes her chest and has side bangs. Her skin color is white, has green eyes, soft pink lips, and a small nose. She has some eyeshadow on. So far, she is the shortest of the contestants, only being five feet and one inch. However, she is fit and wears a plain colorful shirt with no logo and some jean shorts, pink shoes and has one sock red and the other green. She has a Fitbit watch on her left wrist.
This is Sami.
"That does sound like Chris," Sami told Jared then giggles. "How are you holding up Ingrid?"
Ingrid is a female that has curly long unkempt black hair, yellow eyes with red pupils, and orange skin. She is only five feet. She looks lanky but does not have any physical disabilities. Her outfit consists of a torn-up dark green shirt, torn-up baggy jeans, yellow gloves, long black socks, and brown work boots. Lastly, she has two Venus flytraps that are connected to her back.
"I'm perfectly fine," Ingrid said, still using her creepy whispering voice. "Though I can't say the same for my friends." She points to the Venus flytraps on her back who are panting.
"It looks like they need water," Said another female contestant sitting next to Ingrid.
She has silky black straight long hair reaching to her bottom with a few side bangs that reach up to her chin. Her eyes are black, and her skin is Caucasian. She has thin lips and small ears. She stands at five feet and eight inches, sporting a rather skinny pear body. She has a presentable taste of clothing, wearing an orange long-sleeved shirt with a white round collar, a navy skirt reaching mid-thigh, black tights, and black flats. She also has an orange hairclip. Lastly, she has gold butterfly earrings and a matching pendant. This is Yves.
"I didn't bring one for the ride. Hopefully, you can get a bottle of water once we land," Yves told her friend Ingrid.
The sound of someone opening a bottle of water catches the attention of the two Venus flytraps.
The male that opened the bottle is leaning on a wall. He is blond with orange highlights that run down to his shoulders. His hair is swept backward with sideburns. He has almond shape blue eyes and thick eyebrows. He has a very athletic and chiseled body, broad shoulders, and beige skin tone. His face is chiseled and diamond shape.
He has a beauty mark and a small cut under his right eye. His left arm has multiple large scars on his left arm, which he covered up with bandages.
His outfit consists of wearing dark sunglasses. A black winter British style double collar unzipped jacket coat. Underneath the jacket is a white shirt that has a red sun mark on the front of his shirt. Black jeans that have two left-sided zippers in the middle and a white flaming lion mark on the lower half, a chain belt that contains 4 chains, black martial arts shoes, and black tactical fingerless gloves. This is Leon.
Leon notices the two Venus flytraps from Ingrid's back staring at him. He slowly closes the bottle and offers the water. One of the Venus flytraps extends itself and takes the bottle with its mouth. The two flytraps fight for the bottle.
"Come on you two, share," Ingrid told the flytraps.
The last male not revealed chuckles at the sight. The boy has dirty blonde hair that looks like a mullet. His eyes are blue and has a nice tan from being in the sun for a lot of time. He has a few front crooked teeth and is five feet and eleven inches. He has an excellent body for lifting and pulling stuff. He wears an unbuttoned red flannel shirt over a white shirt, ripped blue skinny jeans, a brown leather belt, and worn-down brown boots. Some parts of the shirt and pants are covered in motor oil stains.
This is Buck.
"Those two fights like pigs in a wrestling match to see which one becomes dinner," Buck joked. He tunes his banjo and starts playing with it.
"Is so exciting to meet you guys from the Crowstillo cast," Sami said joyfully. "How's it been since you three competed?"
"I've been training in the mountains, perfecting and sharpening my skills," Christopher said contently.
"Okay main protagonist, were you able to defeat the villain in the last arc?" Jared joked with a smug on his face.
"Not yet, I have not been able to find the person who stole my uncle's watch," Christopher answered confidently, not understanding the joke.
"Yep, still the same Christopher," Jared told himself. He then looks at Sami. "I've been hopping from job to job. Surviving is what I do best."
"Ashley and I moved together into an apartment recently," Leon said to everyone. "It's been going great."
"I'm glad not to be in the other blimp with those people," Yves said. "Having to deal with them would have been a major headache."
"I feel bad for Jeremy though," Buck admitted. "Hope he's doing alright on the other side."
"He made it to the finale with me," Ingrid told Buck. "I'm sure he will be fine."
Inside the red blimp also has seven returning competitors.
The first to show himself on camera is Jeremy who is currently standing. He has messy black hair but with a small braid that is dyed pink. He is skinny, five feet and ten inches, and has a chipped front tooth. He is wearing a brown leather jacket with skulls on the back and underneath it is a black shirt with "Super Happy Death Punch" written on it. He also wears black pants with chains coming out of the pockets and black boots. Lastly, fingerless gloves on his hands.
"What did I do to deserve this? Why would Chris put me here with all of you?" Jeremy wondered to himself.
"Can you stop questioning your morality? You've been doing that since we all got on the blimp," Said an annoyed female sitting on a bench.
She has her hair dyed in purple that reaches her mid-back, tied into a fishtail braid. Her bangs are swept to the left. She has a heart-shaped face, almond shape eyes, and plump lips. Her eyes are brown. She is a petite girl with lean muscles and slight curves to define her shape. She is wearing a white tank top, fake black leather jacket, dark blue ripped skinny jeans and beat-up black converse.
This is Saraphina or Sara for short.
"It just doesn't make any sense," Jeremy told Sara. "I'm not supposed to be here."
"You're not alone on that. I also believe I shouldn't be here," Said a male that is sitting next to Sara.
The boy is wearing a Nemes crown and a white silt kilt that covers most of his lower body. Getting a better look, he has several gold bracelets on both his arms and has a tattoo of the Eye of Ra on the back of his right hand. Also, the dude is wearing gold color sandals without socks. Lastly, he has light brown skin and is above average in build.
This is Pharaoh, the fake royal.
"You were lazy, annoyed your teammates, and only helped them during the last pre-merge challenge," Said another female that is sitting alone. "I say you definitely fit with us."
She has black wavy hair in a ponytail with fluffy bangs, brown eyes, ivory, skin, and has many freckles on her cheeks. She has a petite body with slightly muscular arms and wears a white sweater with puffy sleeves, a cat head silhouette, a black high-waisted skirt, matching black stockings, and white flats with black bows on the tips. She also has a rabbit charm necklace.
She is Violette.
"I was just faking a character. I'm not actually like that," Pharaoh clarified.
Two girls are sitting next to each other.
On the right is a female that has her straight natural blonde hair dyed halfway in pink that goes down the way to her back. Her face is very youthful-looking with big yellowish-green eyes. She is five feet and seven inches has pale skin and a pear-shaped body. She is wearing a thick and short yellow scarf, a black t-shirt depicting realistic-looking scars and blood patterns, a short red skirt, and almost knee-height black combat boots.
This is Casey, the previous co-host.
On the left, the other teen has hair completely dyed in purple that is down to her neck, fair skin, and light blue eyes. She is five feet and six inches. This girl is attractive, having slight curves on her waist and chest. She is wearing a magician outfit without a hat and wand, tight long black pants, black, shoes, and white gloves.
This is Georgia, the phantasmal actress.
"I still find it amusing that you have to wear your Pharaoh outfit every time you come back on the show," Casey told Pharaoh with a smile. "Those contracts Chris makes are awesome."
"Ugh, this is ridiculous," Georgia exclaimed, using her phone. "Can you believe the students I go to the same school with are comparing me to a so call thespian name Adrian Contiello? Who even is that guy?"
"Apparently part of this universe now," Casey joked.
The camera pans to the last contestant not revealed yet. He is all the way in the corner, writing in his journal.
He has dark brown spikey hair, light brown eyes, and tan skin. He packs some muscles, but his outfit barely shows it. He is wearing a beige trench coat, a murky green shirt, and black jeans. He also has rectangular silver glasses.
This is Knick.
Casey sneaks up to him. "Hi Knick, what you're doing?"
"Just writing to pass the time," Knick responded, closing his book immediately.
"Writing about me?" Casey asked in a flirtish way.
Knick raises an eyebrow at her. "Why would I ever write about a lunatic like you?"
"I always love it when you compliment me," Casey answered with a perky smile.
Knick looks at the wall to avoid eye contact with her. "Go away."
Georgia begins to put make-up on her face. She takes out a pocket mirror to see herself, so she does not make mistakes. "I want to make a good impression before we land. After all, I am the best in this game."
"Says the only pre-merger here," Sara taunted.
Georgia gasps at her. "How dare you, I was going to be…"
The blimp suddenly stops, causing everyone to fall to the floor.
The scene changes to all the campers getting out of the blimp and looking around the area they are in. To their left is the new mess hall and to their right two cabins.
"Welcome back friends," Chris told the cast as he walks towards the contestants.
"The only person that is your friend here is Casey," Yves told him coldly.
"Nah, he hasn't given my paycheck yet," Casey told the dancer. "And I'm still waiting for it." She said to the host. "You're lucky I'm a contestant so I can't sue you right now."
"Casey, we've been over this. Your paycheck will be arriving once you've been eliminated," Chris reminded.
Casey decides to keep quiet, knowing that talking more with him is not worth it.
"Sara!" Christopher exclaimed. Both he and his girlfriend hug each other.
Sami and Casey squeal seeing the couple still together.
"Glad to see you two still together," Chris responded. "Let's see how long that lasts."
"We're going strong for more than two years Chris. We can handle anything you throw at us," Sara said confidently.
"Love the enthusiasm Saraphina."
"It's Sara!"
"Now, before I give a tour around the island, let's start with deciding teams," Chris told the contestants.
"What is there to decide?" Leon questioned, confused about the decision. "Seems pretty obvious to me."
"Well, maybe one of you hasn't figured it out yet," Chris said.
"Is it going to be like heroes versus villains from All-Star?" Sami wondered blissfully.
Chris sighs. "Yes Sami, something like that. Whatever wanted to keep it suspenseful for the audience."
"You shouldn't have put us in separate blimps," Ingrid told him.
"I don't need none of you to tell me how to do my job," Chris retorted. "Anyway, for those that were in the yellow blimp…"
"Yves"
The dancer smiles confidently.
"Ingrid"
She is gently rubbing her flytraps.
"Sami"
The theater girl spins around in joy.
"Buck"
He gives a thumbs up.
"Jared"
The perfectionist watches Ingrid talking to her plants, freaking him out a bit.
"Leon"
The brawler waves at the camera.
"And Christopher."
"Correct, that is me," Christopher said.
"You seven will be known as the Cranium Knights!"
A yellow circle appears on the screen with the team's logo. The logo is a knight's helmet with symbols of multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition at the up left corner of the circle.
"Uh, can the team's name change?" Jared asked the host somewhat annoyed. "I don't want us to be named after a team that had a four-game losing streak."
Yves scoffs at him. "The name is fine Jared, just because the word cranium is in it does not mean bad luck."
"I don't believe in bad luck but considering how unlucky you and your teammates were Jared makes a valid point," Knick plainly stated to Yves, pointing out how bad the Cranium Cats were.
"She didn't ask for your opinion Knick," Leon told the young tan adult bitterly. Knick raises an eyebrow, surprised by the resentment.
Chris snaps his fingers to get the attention of the campers. "To answer Jared's question, no. There will be no team name changing."
"Guess half of the team will be eliminated before then," Jared said.
"Come on Jared, show some spirit," Sami encouraged. "We have a strong team this time around."
"Yeah, because the others are not here," Jared retorted.
"You do realize we are seven, so half isn't the correct word to use," Ingrid informed.
Jared looks at the gardener to retort again until he saw Ingrid's amazing yellow eyes. He looks away from her. "Okay, you got me there."
"Am I ever going to finish?" Chris whined. "Because this is a half-hour show and we are not even at the challenge yet."
"Go ahead Chris, knock the ball out of the park," Buck told the host with a smile.
"Thanks, Buck, now for the other seven players."
"Jeremy"
The nervous guitar player looks confused.
"Violette"
The not so innocent girl smirks delightfully.
"Pharaoh"
The light brown skin dude smiles.
"Sara"
The petite girl crosses her arms.
"Georgia"
The purple-dyed hair actress is shuffling some cards in her hands.
"Knick"
The dude puts his hands in the pockets of his beige trench coat.
"And Casey"
The crazy girl is shown doing the macarena with a monkey.
"You seven are now the Dangerous Serpents!"
A red circle appears on the screen with the team's logo. The logo is a three-headed snake. Each of them having two pointy teeth in their mouth.
"Um, Chris, I have a question," Jeremy told the host.
"Here we go," Sara said to herself, rolling her eyes and knowing what her teammate is going to say.
"There seems to be a mistake of me being put on the team with all the villains," Jeremy said.
"Nah, there's no mistake dude, you're worthy of villainousness," Chris told the guitarist with his casual smile.
"What makes him worthy of being on a team with me?" Georgia wondered.
"He locked me in my trailer so he can win a challenge," Chris answered, looking annoyed as he had to remember that moment again.
"Seriously? Just because I locked you in your trailer. That was not even my plan. That was Daniela's idea," Jeremy said to defend himself.
"You still went along with it," Violette told him, her arms now crossed. "Besides, is not like you're going to last even the first day on this team."
"Um, I have a pretty good idea why I'm in this team, but can I get a recap?" Pharaoh politely asked as he raised his hand.
"You annoyed Leon and me throughout the pre-merge with your stupid Pharaoh gimmick," Jared bluntly replied. Leon nods in agreement.
"I already apologized to you two about that," Pharaoh said, starting to feel guilty again. "And it wasn't a gimmick."
"Yeah, because you pretending to have a royal bloodline and annoy everyone just for show is totally not a gimmick," Knick responded.
Pharaoh sighs and decides to stop talking.
"That makes me think about vampires," Casey said, completely changing the subject. "Like, do vampires know the difference between royal blood and middle-class blood? Do they know what type of blood their victim has? Are there any side effects of drinking different blood types?"
"That is complete nonsense Casey," Christopher told the wild card.
"Thank you, Christopher," Chris showed gratitude.
"Vampires don't drink. They scrape and lick," Christopher told, making the host groan. The kung fu fighter opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out to mimic the lick and scraping.
"Babe please, don't do that now," Sara asked nicely to her boyfriend. Christopher stops what he is doing.
Chef arrives to talk with the host, looking impatient. "Chris, when are these kids coming to eat my food. I served them something special today."
The campers look nervous at the mention of Chef's meal except for one. Knick, who is glad to see the bulky man.
"Hey Chef, how's your show coming along?" The journalist asked.
"Doing good my man just got greenlit for a second season," Chef answered.
"You are on good terms with Chef?" Jeremy asked Knick. The young tan adult shrugs.
"Chef and I made that alliance remember? I decided to keep in touch with him."
Chris's mouth is wide open, having a shocked face. "I cannot believe you said that Chef."
"Said what?" Chef Hatchet wondered.
"My man. You told Knick he was your man. I thought I was your man," Chris said with a frown.
"You will always be my man Chris," Chef told the host with irritation in his voice.
"That didn't stop you from leaving this show. What next, you're going to see Don to spite me?"
"Heck no dude, can you stop with the whining," Chef said getting more irritated. "And stop making us sound like a couple?"
"Oh, so you're too good for me now is that it?"
The campers are merely just watching everything unfold. Georgia starts to chuckle, causing Chris to continue with the show.
"Okay, time for a quick tour. To everyone's left, is the new mess hall. Comes with a kitchen, two tables, and exactly fourteen stumps to sit on.
"How dare you make us use stumps to sit on," Ingrid said to the host with distaste in her voice. "Trees are not meant to be cut into stumps for our pleasure of putting our butts in fine delicate hardwood."
A few snickers from the boys can be heard.
"You can sit on the floor Ingrid, I don't have the budget for chairs," Chris told the mutant gardener.
"Budget, what is even the word budget for Total Drama," Casey questioned with a dramatic affair. "How big is it? A season traveling across the world, staying in a mechanical island, and other islands? This budget is wack."
"I'll be warming up the food," Chef told Chris, leaving the host to his duties as heads inside the mess hall. Also, to not be around the campers anymore.
"Okay, mess hall covered. Let me tell you all the sleeping arrangements," Chris said, putting his hands together.
"Wait? Is not going to be girls on one side and boys on the other?" Buck asked.
"Nope, this time it will be by teams. Cranium Knights get the left cabin while the Dangerous Serpents get the right cabin."
"Thank goodness Chase is not here," Georgia said to herself.
"Yeah, he would have gotten more than a nosebleed from me," Violette spoke, cracking her knuckles.
"We also have showers since you campers get smelly very quickly and of course, the outhouse confessional," Chris continued.
"Ah yes, the classic formula that has not changed its appearance for four seasons straight," Sara said. "Can't you at least spice it up a bit? Maybe some makeup equipment like in Action?"
The host ignores her. "Moving on, the interns have arrived with your luggage. Get them, put them in your respective cabin, go to the confessional, and head to the mess hall for lunch. Three hours until the first challenge starts. Any questions?"
Jared immediately asks one. "Why is this season called Radiant Redemption?"
"Well, the name speaks for itself," Chris simply replied, not seeing the braces guy's point.
"If this is supposed to be another All-Star season, why does the title have redemption in it? The only two people qualified for that is Leon and Georgia. No offense," Jared stated.
"None taken," Leon said happily.
"Yeah, I was wondering the same thing for a moment," Jeremy agreed.
"Does Georgia even need redemption?" Yves commented.
"After my awful performance which is entirely not my fault yes," Georgia answered the shadow dancer. "I do need this."
"I think everybody here deserves the All-Star status," Sami pipped in.
"Oh definitely," Knick agreed. "After all, who couldn't forget the best player Leon, being only in the first three episodes of his first season."
"For your information, I made two more appearances in that season and got a girlfriend who actually loves me and didn't try to blow up my face," Leon countered.
Knick's teammates smile, liking what Leon said to him. The short Canadian keeps quiet, allowing the brawler to win.
"Alright, that's enough. The reason why is call Radiant Redemption is that each of you wants redemption. Some of you want to show that your placement wasn't a fluke, others want to fix their past mistakes, the rest to show they can make it farther in the game," Chris explained. "It was supposed to originally be called Crowstillo Comeback, but the initials were the same as the next new season's title."
"But Radiant Redemption is just TDRR," Sami said. "The same initials as the Ridonculous Race."
"Chris did that so the algorithms can pick up the name before the Ridonculous Race. That way people will click on the name more," Casey explained while pretending to be a nerd and wearing Knick's glasses. Knick takes the glasses off her swiftly.
"Thank you for that unnecessary information, Casey," Chris said sarcastically. "Now go get ready for today's challenge, thanks to all your conversations, there is less time to get things to settle."
Confessional – Jeremy – Dangerous Serpents
"Man, I'm teammates with the villains. Pharaoh seems to be chill, but I do not trust the others one bit. Maybe I could swap to the Cranium Knights team if I stay as the only good guy."
Confessional – Leon – Cranium Knights
"It's great to be back for another round since I got cheated by him," His voice sounding angry at the end. "I also miss Ashley, but she was overly excited to watch me perform again. I cannot let my guard down just because I'm on the hero team. Losing again in the pre-merge would suck. Which means I have to work extra hard, so my teammates don't vote me off."
Confessional – Sara – Dangerous Serpents
"Being on the villain team isn't too bad. Casey and Pharaoh are okay, despite being annoying at times and Jeremy is not a threat at all. That leaves Knick and Georgia, who are definitely the troublemakers of the team."
Confessional – Yves – Cranium Knights
"My last elimination was… unacceptable. I am glad that this season is after a week from the last one instead of two years. I do not have the courage to face my family yet. I need to win now, hopefully by not pulling any strings."
End Confessionals
The symbol of the Cranium Knights appears as the team is inside their cabin, unpacking their belongings.
"Is so exciting to be competing with you guys," Sami told joyfully at Jared, Christopher, and Leon.
"You already told us that on the way here," Jared stated as he folds his clothes.
"Oh yeah, it's just totally awesome being back in the game," Sami responded.
Ingrid is putting a potted plant on top of a dresser next to a bunk bed. "It does feel quite nice."
"Yes, Sara and I were very eager to come back and kick butt as she puts it," Christopher informed. He looks at Sami. "I was rooting for you all the way. Such a strong warrior."
"Oh, thanks," Sami said as she blushed from the compliment.
"I'm here because of my contract," Jared simply said.
"Come on Jared, this show helped you become a better person at the end," Leon told the perfectionist.
"Yeah, and I can suffer getting derailed this season because of it."
"Since when have previous contestants been derailed?" Buck asked then realizes how stupid the question sounded. "Don't answer that."
"Well, as long I'm in charge of this team we should be able to do well," Yves told her teammates.
"Who died and made you leader?" Jared retorted. Before an argument can start, Christopher steps in between the two.
"Yves, as much as we appreciate your confidence in being the leader; we should wait until the challenge starts to see who fits correctly as captain for that moment," The muscular warrior explained.
Yves crosses her arms; a bit mix waiting for the challenge. "Fine, I'll wait."
Confessional – Christopher – Cranium Knights
"I'm not sure if putting Yves in charge is a great idea. She wasn't that good leading during her run last time."
End Confessional
The symbol of the Dangerous Serpents appears as the team is also unpacking their things.
"Been a long time since being in Crowstillo Island," Casey told her teammates. "I remember it like it was a week ago."
"It was a week ago," Violette told Casey, rolling her eyes as she takes out her stuff teddy bear from her luggage. "I want the top bunk by the way."
"Sure, doesn't matter where anyone sleeps, there practically the same beds," Jeremy noted.
"I'm surprised Daniela is not here," Georgia told the guitarist as she was placing her makeup kit on top of a dresser. "She would have been an excellent teammate."
Before Jeremy could answer, Violette talks.
"An excellent teammate as the perfect first boot, yeah," The sly freckle girl started smirking.
"Hey, Daniela is a fierce person. No way she'll get eliminated so early," Jeremy said, defending his friend. "She also got a stunt job so she couldn't make it."
"She would have suffered Jo's fate in the game," Knick said politely as he could. "A hothead girl like her wouldn't survive on this team."
"Just like you," Georgia responded as Sara puts her makeup next to the actress. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Do you need glasses to see?" Sara snapped. "Obviously I'm putting my makeup here."
"Oh my, I never took you for the make-up type," Georgia sincerely said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sara wondered with a glare.
"Is just… with such marvelous skin you have you don't need make-up," The actress replied.
"Cute, but I know you're lying. At least have the courage to say it in front of my face and not pretend to be an actress when you are bad at it," Sara told.
The two teens glare at each other.
"Come on you two. We are a team," Pharaoh told the ladies. "Can we wait until the challenge starts to make drama?"
"But drama is good for ratings Pharaoh," Casey countered. "The people eat it up like turkeys in Thanksgiving."
"Isn't that a United States thing?" Jeremy asked.
Confessional – Pharaoh – Dangerous Serpents
"Okay, the reason I came back was to make amends with my teammates two years ago. Sadly, only Jared and Leon are here, but I am not going to stop because of that. As for being on this team, I feel like I have a shot for the million as long as I don't make too many mistakes."
End Confessional
After unpacking their belongings, both teams are serving food by Chef Hatchet in the mess hall.
Buck is the first one in line, holding a tray in his hands.
Chef is using his big left arm to hold a large pot. He uses his right hand to scoop up the food inside. "Today is sloppy joe, get your water and juice at the vending machine." He throws the sloppy joe onto the tray, making some of it splat on the dirty blond Southern's face.
"Enjoy," Chef said then chuckles darkly.
Buck walks to the vending machine. Luckily, getting water does not cost anything. Just putting in the code is enough.
"From first-class plane food to hunting for food and now this," Buck said to himself as he types in the code. "Not sure if this is edible."
"It is edible," Casey told him as she waits to get her drinks. "It just won't taste good. The show was sued for poisoning the Pahkitew campers so the serving must be able to flow well with our stomachs."
"Wow, you really have a lot of knowledge of this series," Leon told her as Buck grabs his drinks then goes to sit down at a table.
"Being the co-host had its perks," Casey said with delight. The two head to their respective tables to chat with their teammates.
Next in line is Ingrid, with her flytraps looking might hungry. Chef puts three scoops of sloppy joes on her tray. "Here, make sure your friends eat it up really good."
"Thanks, Chef," Ingrid thanked and heads to where Buck is sitting.
After a few more servings, Knick is the last one on the line.
"Hey Chef, food smells good today," Knick said nicely.
"Don't need to suck up kid, just take this," Chef spoke, passing a tray of well-cooked bacon, hard-boiled, eggs, and toast.
His teammates notice his tray immediately.
"Hey, no fair, how come he gets royal treatment?" Pharaoh complained. He ducks under the table to dodge a cleaver that Chef threw. "Woah, it's okay, sloppy joe is cool."
"Relax Pharaoh, I'm only eating this today," Knick told. "Don't want to make myself more of a target than I'm already am."
"You're already in the bottom two since you set foot on that blimp," Georgia responded.
"Okay, you definitely have a grudge on him," Jeremy said.
"Of course I do, he cost me my whole game," Georgia replied severely. "He ratted me out for no purpose whatsoever."
"You were giving your sponsorship money to Chris and the producers just so you can stay in the game just in case you got eliminated," Knick explained. "Even I wouldn't stoop that low."
"Oh shut up, doesn't matter what you say, you're gone as soon as we lose a challenge," Georgia said.
"It's better to eliminate someone who doesn't do well in the challenge instead of voting him off because of having some stupid grudge for revenge," Sara told the actress.
"You're defending Knick?" Pharaoh said, surprised to believe it.
Sara scoffs at the idea. "Heck no, as if I'll ever defend that loser," Sara said. "I just don't think voting off a player for revenge is a great idea."
"I'm right here you know," Knick stated, feeling a bit hurt.
"He made it to the final three though, surely that puts him at the bottom two with that," Violette intervened. Hey, as long as she is not a target, she is happy to throw someone under the bus.
"All of us made it to the final five except Georgia," Casey said. "I don't consider that as a great argument."
As the Dangerous Serpents continue to talk about eliminating Knick pronto or not, the Cranium Knights are somewhat enjoying their meal.
"So Buck, you mentioned that Simon couldn't make it into the show again?" Sami asked the MacGyver.
Buck swallows a spoonful of sloppy joe before answering. "Is not that he couldn't make it, is that he declined to come back. Told me the competition would have gotten to his head again and wouldn't enjoy it."
"Yeah, I watched him play the game. Feel bad for him at the end," Leon added to the conversation.
"So, Ingrid, are your parents okay with you like this?" Jared said, trying not to sound rude as he looks at the green flytraps on her back.
"It's a work in progress," Ingrid admitted. "They'll get used to it."
Yves is trying her best to not talk about strategy. She eats her sloppy joe slowly to not talk. The sloppy joe Christopher is eating tries to attack him, but he karate chops it in half to stop and then continues to eat it.
Chris arrives inside the mess hall. "Campers, hope you finished your meals because today's challenge is all about throwing balls at each other. That is right, I'm talking about dodgeball!"
The contestants look at each other with fear and determination.
"Meet me at the stadium in fifteen minutes, can't miss it."
"Wow, what an original challenge Chris, how do you come up with stuff?" Sara asked sarcastically.
The host sighs. "There you go. Once again insulting me and my creativity."
"Is not really creative if you're doing it again," Yves stated.
"Just all of you meet me in fifteen minutes."
Confessional – Knick – Dangerous Serpents
"Just when I thought the challenge would be easy it turns out to be a sports challenge. I hate sports, but I do not want to be eliminated first on my team. That will be embarrassing."
Confessional – Ingrid – Cranium Knights
"Not a big fan of sports so hopefully the boys like Christopher and Leon can do a good job today." The flytraps on her back whimper. "Yes, you two can play the game."
Confessional – Buck – Cranium Knights
"I used to play dodgeball when I was a small kid. Made some contraptions with Chuck to take down the bullies who kept throwing balls at the folk who were out of the game."
Confessional – Violette – Dangerous Serpents
"Never played dodgeball once in my life. I was such an angel that nobody wanted to hit my face with one. I plan to make sure nobody does it here either."
End Confessionals
Chris and the contestants arrive at a court with clear glass walls. Chef arrives wearing a referee uniform. Black pants, black shoes, and a white shirt with vertical black stripes.
"Let's see if you campers remember the rules of dodgeball," Chris said.
"Not to talk about it?" Pharaoh joked, getting chuckles from his teammates.
Chris glares at him for the remark then smiles again. "If you get hit with a ball, you're out." Chef tosses a ball to Chris. The host throws it at Jared who could not dodge it in time.
"Ow!" Jared exclaimed, rubbing his left cheek.
Chef tosses another red sphere ball to Chris to catch. "If you catch a ball, the thrower is out, and you can bring a teammate onto your side of the field."
"What about deflecting a ball with a ball in your hands?" Sami asked.
"Then your safe, but dodging is a better method," Chris answered. "Last rule, everybody must play at least one round. No one is pulling a Noah this time around."
"What? No twist?" Sara wondered.
"I was hoping someone would say that" Chris exclaimed. "There are two balls you campers can play with."
"Ugh, Chris, that sounds disgusting the way use phrased that," Leon admitted. The other contestants agree.
"How would you say then?"
"Just say dodgeballs," Violette answered. "A simple fix."
"Well, whatever, these two dodgeballs are special. You teens and your messed-up heads. Pass me them, Chef."
Chef tosses a ball that has a crimson-like color than the others and another one that looks like a bomb.
"This is the spinning ball," Chris said he raises it a bit up using his right arm. "It spins around in midair. The Explosivo bomb explodes on contact. Don't worry, ash and smoke just come out of it. Is not actually a bomb."
"Glad is not," Jeremy said with relief.
"The first team to three wins the challenge and avoids elimination."
"Wait? Elimination?" Christopher said confused. "You haven't done a day one elimination since Pahkitew."
"Correct Christopher. The fans already know who you fourteen are so there's no need to do a non-elimination episode," Chris said. "Alright teams, decide who are the first five to play."
The Cranium Knights head to their bleachers to decide their first five players.
"We won't give them a break," Yves told her teammates. "Ingrid, Buck, Leon, Christopher, and I will start first."
"Sure thing Yves," Sami agreed, giving a thumbs up.
"I don't agree with your idea but as long as I don't play that much, I'm fine with it," Jared stated.
The Dangerous Serpents are discussing as well who to put in the first round.
"Alright team, these will be our first five," Sara declared.
"Hellooooo? No one has put you in charge," Violette said. "I don't want to take orders from a jerk like you."
"You have any better ideas?" Sara responded quickly. "Because from what I've seen, the only ones you come up with is attracting mates."
"That was part of my game plan. I'm not that type of person," Violette defended while annoyed at the so call captain. "And I'm not taking orders from the chick who broke up Pharaoh and Lucy's friendship."
"Says the chick who manipulated a boy and tried to ruin his friendships," Jeremy countered.
"We don't have much time left," Pharaoh told his teammates.
"Pharaoh, Knick, Georgia, Violette, and Casey will go first," Sara declared. "No objections."
Confessional – Sara – Dangerous Serpents
"What's Violette's deal? Did she not watch me during my time in Crowstillo right? I did a great job being in charge of my previous team."
Confessional – Violette – Dangerous Serpents
"I had to deal with Daniela badmouthing me so much until she was eliminated. I am not taking orders from an insensitive jerk like that again."
End Confessionals
Yves, Christopher, Leon, Ingrid, and Buck stand on the left side of the court while Knick, Violette, Casey, Pharaoh, and Georgia stand on the ride side.
Chef blows on a silver whistle to start the match.
Ingrid extends her Venus flytraps to grab all five dodgeballs in the middle of the court and give one to each teammate, leaving the Dangerous Serpents without a single ball.
"Well, this already sucks," Pharaoh admitted.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time," Leon said looking at Knick as he bounces the red ball on his left hand. "Time to get what's coming to you."
"You watched me get mauled by a bear and enjoyed every second of it," Knick stated. "And they call me a villain."
The cheater had no time to dodge the ball Leon immediately threw at his cheek. This sends Knick to the ground. The Cranium Knights cheer. The journalist rubs his left cheek as he heads to the bleachers with Sara and Jeremy.
"Next time don't provoke the other team," Sara said harshly.
"Noted," Knick only said.
Pharaoh dodges the ball Yves throws at him. Casey crouches to avoid the ball Christopher throws at her.
Ingrid uses her mutant strength to throw a ball rapidly at Casey, who cannot catch it in time. The impact to the stomach makes her spit out saliva.
"Sorry," Ingrid apologized. This allows Violette to hit the black curly long hair girl.
Georgia throws a ball at Yves who easily dodges it. She picks the ball up and gets ready to throw it.
"Wait, hit me, but nowhere near my face, stomach, arms, or chest," Georgia told her in a panic, pointing to her body parts. "Just hit me at the legs."
Yves, with a cold expression, does what she is told. Why get on this girl's bad side more?
"What was that?" Sara exclaimed, dumbfounded at the actress who is walking to the bleachers.
"I contribute as much as I can. However, this face is far too valuable to get damage. I am an actress, I cannot blemish my looks," Georgia explained. "You wouldn't understand because of how revolting yours is."
"Maybe I should rearrange yours for good measure," Sara threatened, removing her black fake leather jacket.
Pharaoh and Jeremy immediately hold her to prevent a fight.
"I advise you to control yourself," Pharaoh told his friend.
"Yeah, you're not exactly helping yourself to stay tonight," Jeremy agreed.
The shot of the Dangerous Serpents opens up to show Violette hit by two dodgeballs. The Cranium Knights cheer having won their first round.
"We're totally at a disadvantage," Violette told her teammates. "They have two strong guys and a mutant. We're not winning by just throwing balls."
"We should use our brains then," Casey suggested.
"Exactly, does anyone have an idea how to beat the other team?" Sara asked.
Everyone looks at Knick.
"Can I help you all?" The journalist asked bluntly.
"Your family is all about sports. Surely you must have an idea what strategic measures are for a game like dodgeball," Casey said to him.
"Just go with Duncan's plan of rushing the new guy," Knick simply stated. "It is obvious now that Ingrid's plants are going to get the ball first. Dodge them and target a single person."
With the Cranium Knights, Yves is applauding for a job well done.
"Good work team, we five will be going at it again," Yves instructed.
"Um Yves, Jared, and I need to play at least once," Sami told her friend.
"Thanks for reminding me. You two will play next round. I want our team to take a two to nothing lead," The dancer explained.
Confessional – Sami – Cranium Knights
"I'm really glad everyone is allowing Yves to lead the team. She can get a bit aggressive when she's on the sidelines."
End Confessional
Christopher, Yves, Leon, Buck, and Ingrid head back onto the court for the Cranium Knights. Sara, Casey, Violette, Pharaoh, and Jeremy now play for the Dangerous Serpents.
Chef blows his whistle, and the second match starts.
Like the last time, Ingrid uses her flytraps to collect all the dodgeballs in the middle of the court, passing one to each teammate. The Dangerous Serpents dodge their attacks. Jeremy grabs four balls on their side of the field and gives one to Casey, Sara, Pharaoh, and Violette. The four throw their ball at Ingrid.
The creepy girl catches one while the two flytraps on her back catch one, respectively. She is unable to deflect the last ball thrown at her and it hits her face.
"Well call us a salad because we're about to get toss," Buck told his teammates, having a gut feeling they will not win this round.
Ingrid heads back to the bleachers where Jared and Sami are sitting.
"Did it hurt?" Jared asked her.
Ingrid sighs at the stupid question and sits down.
"Yeah, that was… dumb of me to say."
The other Cranium Knights go down quickly as well, not being able to handle so many balls being thrown at once at them.
"The Dangerous Serpents gain a point," Chris announced. He then whispers something to Chef. "Put the special balls on the court now."
"Alright, all five of us are going at it again," Yves told her team. "This time we'll let them take the five balls so we can anticipate their movements when they throw.
"I kind of want to play this round, Yves," Sami said.
"You want to get pulverize by dodgeballs?" Jared asked her.
Before Sami can answer him, Yves shuts the idea down. "Sorry Sami, but you and Jared are the weakest when it comes to this sort of thing. "
"I played dodgeball before," Sami told her friend as put her hands on her hips. "Just because it looks like I'm awful at it doesn't mean I am."
"Sami, please," Yves begged sincerely.
"She can fill in my spot," Buck told Yves, putting his left hand on Sami's right shoulder. "I have to kick the can for a moment if you know what I mean."
Yves stares at him, knowing what he meant. "Fine, go, but hurry back."
Confessional – Buck – Cranium Knights
"I did have to use the bathroom, but I also want to invent something to help my team. We're sitting ducks if everyone keeps listening to Yves."
End Confessional
The next round begins with Yves, Sami, Ingrid, Leon, and Christopher versus Sara, Knick, Georgia, Jeremy, and Pharaoh. As the teams try to outwit each other, Casey decides to talk with Violette.
"Feels awful to have Sara telling us what to do," Casey told the petite freckle girl.
"Tell me about, I don't know how she got to the finale with you," Violette added.
"Is not like we need to be told what to do. We're all capable of playing the game," Casey continued to sweet talk to her teammate. "We don't need a leader, we need each other."
"Right," Violette agreed with a smirk. "I'll make sure to get that big head of hers down a notch."
Pharaoh recognizes the red spinning ball and bomb ball in the middle of the court. Chef must have dropped them while the teams are distracted. He sees Georgia and Sara get hit with a dodgeball. With quick speed, he rushes to the two balls.
"Jeremy catch!" Pharaoh exclaimed as he tosses the bomb ball at the guitarist who catches it with ease. He then throws the spinning ball blindly, not knowing who it will hit.
It hits Leon, someone he definitely was not trying to hit throughout the game. His eyes widen and open his mouth to see Leon scowl at him then heading to the bleachers.
Sami takes the opportunity to throw a dodgeball at him, resulting in the average build dude being out of the round.
Down to only two Dangerous Serpents on the field, Jeremy quickly throws the bomb ball, and it hits Sami. The release of the smoke and ash gets onto Ingrid.
Chef blows the whistle and points at Ingrid to sit on the bleachers.
"Hey, that's not fair. She didn't get hit by the ball," Yves objected at the referee.
"She still got caught in the blast, so it counts," Chris coolly said.
Christopher launches his ball at Jeremy who is unable to dodge it in time, hitting his face.
"I really don't know why everyone is going for the face," Jared told his teammates that are sitting in the bleachers. "Wouldn't it be better to hit the other parts of the body?"
Nobody answers him as they are currently watching Yves and Christopher holding a dodge ball in their hands ready to take down Knick.
"This will be an easy out," Yves confidently told Christopher.
Yves throws her ball at Knick who dodges it, but barely. He grabs a dodgeball from the floor next to him. He spins it into the air, grabs it, and launches it at her. She ducks under the ball, but the ball does a curve and hits her butt.
"Woah," Christopher said with surprise. Everybody else is also surprised by the technique.
Confessional – Knick – Dangerous Serpents
"I like to take strategies from previous contestants and use them at their fullest potential when I'm not able to handle certain situations. Which reminds me, why didn't Cody kept using his logic-breaking techniques throughout the whole challenge?"
End Confessional
Knick knows he will not be able to dodge a ball thrown by Christopher. He holds out his hands like he is pushing a large crate while putting his left leg behind for a firm defense.
The kung fu fighter throws the dodgeball with great force, causing the journalist to be pushed back a few feet. Knick is still able to hold the ball in his hands.
"And the Dangerous Serpents take round three!" Chris exclaimed with excitement.
Despite the win, the only person cheering for Knick is Casey.
"Wow, that was hot," Casey exclaimed. "Maybe you can spin me like that some time."
"Do it yourself," Knick told her bluntly.
Buck arrives with a large tube in the shape of an L.
"What took you so long?" Yves told him. "And what's with this pipe?"
"Just made this to guarantee us a win," Buck answered positively. "Have Ingrid put the dodgeballs inside and this doo-hickey will launch one at a time with rapid speed."
Yves does not like the plan one bit. "No, we're sticking to my plan. How do we know if this invention of yours even works? We're not testing this from the get-go."
"I like Buck's idea," Leon admitted. "If it helps us win faster, that's a plus for us."
"I agree with him. As much as I am not fond of technology this can assist us in winning the challenge," Christopher acknowledged.
"Yves, the Dangerous Serpents need one more win and Jared still hasn't gone up yet. Let Buck take over," Sami reasoned with her friend.
Yves looks at her teammates. If they lose the challenge, they might pin the blame on her. A risk she cannot take.
"Alright Buck, I believe in you. Do not mess up," Yves stated.
"I won't let my team down," Buck assured her.
Round four begins with the Cranium Knights having Jared, Buck, Yves, Sami, and Ingrid versus Knick, Violette, Georgia, Jeremy, and Casey from the Dangerous Serpents.
The Serpents notice the large tube Buck is holding steady. Chef blows his whistle and round four starts. Ingrid rapidly takes all the dodgeballs, including the Explosivo ball, and the spinning ball thanks to her Venus flytraps. The plants put all the balls inside Buck's machine.
Flicking the switch from his machine a dodgeball launches right at Jeremy, who has no way to dodge the speed and force of the ball. The guitarist groans in pain, holding his left shoulder in pain.
"Whoops; might have increased the velocity power too much," Buck sheepishly admitted.
"No time, take them all down," Jared signaled.
Buck does as he is told. Each dodgeball hits three opponents differently. One hits Knick's stomach, another hits Georgia's head which knocks her out and Casey is hit by her back. The laidback genius targets Violette in his sights but does not pull the switch.
"Um Buck, you stopped," Sami told him.
Buck keeps staring at his ex-girlfriend. He remembers the good times he had with her.
"You wouldn't really hurt me, would you Bucky-bear?" Violette wondered, quivering her lip, and showing her lovely brown eyes.
The two exes continue to stare at each other until the dirty blonde teen flicks the switch, almost directly hitting Violette's left eye.
Chris and the campers wince at the impact. "That's going to leave a mark," The host said.
He is right. Violette gets up from the floor and takes a pocket mirror to see her face. She gasps at the sight of having her left eye now being a black eye. "I'm hideous!"
Confessional – Buck – Cranium Knights
"I made sure to turn down the velocity before unleashing the ball at her face. Enough that it would cause a lot of pain, but not to the point where it could be permanent." He rubs the back of his head. "Should I have done that? I don't know. I didn't want to hurt her but at the same time I needed to show her how it felt being used."
End Confessional
Total Drama has never been known for proper medical attention or equipment, so Chef just puts some cream on a pirate eye patch.
"Put this on, it will help you with the swelling," Chef told Violette.
The girl does as she is instructed and puts the pirate eye patch on her left black eye.
"Now I look like my cousin Hack when I go with him to the county fair," Violette told herself.
"Alright campers, this is the final round. Whoever wins this one wins the challenge," Chris announced. "So, I want to see some awesome dodgeball playing."
"You can't expect us to win with that contraption," Sara told the host. "We'll automatically lose."
"Not my problem. I'm sure you Serpents can figure something out," Chris told the team.
Casey steps in front of Sara. "Chris, this is the final round of the challenge. Are you really going to allow this to be such an anticlimactic ending to such a great game? The audience wants suspense on who can win."
Chris thinks about what his previous co-host said and rubs his chin. "You make a great point Casey." He turns around to face the Cranium Knights. "Buck, you're not allowed to use that anymore."
"I understand," Buck responded and puts the large tube behind the bleachers.
Confessional – Casey – Dangerous Serpents
"I did not want to be belted by a ball like that again so a little convincing to Chris was easy to do. I know too much about him when being his co-host, so I know when to turn the tides on my side."
End Confessional
For the last round, the Cranium Knights decided to bring Yves, Leon, Christopher, Buck, and Sami. Due to Georgia being knocked out and Violette's injury, the Dangerous Serpents decided to bring the healthier players left in the game. Those are Jeremy, Pharaoh, Knick, Sara, and Casey.
On the Knights' bleachers, Jared notices Ingrid's flytraps dehydrated.
"Hey, you want me to get some water from the mess hall?" Jared asked Ingrid.
"They will appreciate it very much," Ingrid gladly accepted.
Each contestant on the court throws dodgeballs at each other. Jeremy throws the spinning ball, but it misses everyone entirely. Pharaoh takes out Buck. Sami takes out Pharaoh. Jeremy takes out Sami while Sara takes out Yves.
Is now between Leon and Christopher versus Sara, Knick, and Casey. The two athletic brawlers decide to target Knick. Both grab a dodgeball from the floor and throw it at Knick, knocking the journalist out.
Casey and Leon then grab a dodgeball and throw it at each other at the same time. This results in both of them getting hit.
Christopher and Sara do a playful stare down.
"Yes, I knew there was a reason why I separated the two," Chris cheered while Chef shakes his head with disproval.
The couple grabs and launches dodgeballs at each other while simultaneously dodging each attack. To make it look fast the scene, the editors took out footage of them collecting dodgeballs and just put the times when they are dodging and throwing.
This goes on for ten seconds. Sara decides to end the game by catching a dodgeball in her hands.
"Ha! You lose!" Sara exclaimed, only to get hit in the face by a dodgeball thanks to her boyfriend. The surprise impact causes her to lose balance and drop the ball she caught.
"The Cranium Knights win!" Chris excitedly exclaimed.
The Cranium Knights run out from their bleachers cheering and lift Christopher as thanks of victory. Sara, still on the ground puts her right hand on her right cheek. It stings as she looks at her boyfriend.
The kung fu warrior looks at her back with a frown, feeling guilty about throwing a dodgeball like that to her.
Once the Cranium Knights leave the court to continue their celebration, the Dangerous Serpents watch Sara get herself up.
"Nice job winning the game Sara," Violette said sarcastically. "Guess you're leading skills are incredible."
The Dangerous Serpents leave Sara alone except Pharaoh and Jeremy.
"Don't listen to her Sara," Pharaoh encouraged. "You did great."
The other four Serpents continue to walk back to the cabins. Violette grabs Casey's left arm to stop her.
"I have an idea, lets get rid of Sara," Violette said. "It will be easy to convince the others to vote off that jerk since she cost us the win. As you said, we don't need a leader."
Casey releases herself from Violette's grasp and looks at the sly teen. "I suggest you go convince Knick and Georgia. You'll have a harder time with Pharaoh and Jeremy. Leave those to me."
"Thanks, you're the best," Violette joyfully told her like a small child.
Scene changes to the Cranium Knights sitting at their table inside the mess hall. Sami was able to convince Ingrid to sit on a stump. Chef is shown holding a large plate with seven different types of fruit smoothies on it.
"Chris told me you folks won. So, here is your prize," Chef said to the Knights, putting down each smoothie. "Drinkable fruit smoothies." He returns to his kitchen.
The Cranium Knights examine the smoothies as they wonder if it is good or not.
"Who wants to try it first?" Sami offered.
"Eh, I'll give it a shot. The least it can do to me is stomach pain and diarrhea," Leon acknowledged. He takes a coconut smoothie and drinks it with a straw. "Wow, this tastes really good!" He shouted accidentally.
Buck chuckles at the sudden burst while grabbing the watermelon smoothie. "Haven't heard you shout like that the whole day."
"I've been able to control that habit since my last appearance," Leon admitted sheepishly.
Sami takes the blueberry smoothie, Jared the banana, Yves the cherry, and Christopher the lemon one. Each of them enjoys their drink. Ingrid gazes at the strawberry smoothie. The theater girl notices this and smiles.
"Ingrid, I get it, these fruits grow from trees. Think about it this way. Throughout time and now, animals need to eat these fruits to survive and live healthily. It is okay to eat what comes from these types of plants. They are meant to be eaten," Sami explained to her friend.
"I suppose your right in that regard," Ingrid admitted. She takes a sip from the strawberry smoothie. "I like it."
"You sure? It's really hard to tell with your creepy voice," Jared admitted.
"It tastes nice," Ingrid assured. She looks at the perfectionist. "Thanks for getting my plants that bottle of water."
"No problem."
"Great job out there today everyone," Yves courageously exclaimed. "Each of you provided help one way or another. Let us keep up this teamwork. Plus, with me in charge, we'll crush those villains."
"Hold your horses' girl," Buck told her.
"I still advise on picking leaders base on the challenges we get," Christopher recommended. "Would be bad to have someone lead the team without proper knowledge."
Yves glares at the warrior coldly.
"Let's not think about who's in charge next time," Sami comfortably said to the team, noticing the tension forming. "Let us just celebrate our victory today." She raises her smoothie. "Go Cranium Knights!"
Her teammates nod and raise their smoothies as well.
"Go Cranium Knights!" They all cheered.
Campfire Ceremony
It is night and the symbol of the Dangerous Serpents appears. Pharaoh and Sara are sitting on a log in the middle. To the left, Knick, Jeremy, and Georgia are sitting on stumps. To the right are Casey and Violette also sitting on stumps.
There is a campfire place between them and the two hosts, illuminating the area.
Chris has a plate with six marshmallows on it. Chef is standing next to him.
"Dangerous Serpents, welcome to your first elimination ceremony," Chris greeted. "Despite taking a two to one lead, the Cranium Knights were able to pull a comeback. The voting process will be the same from All-Stars." He pulls an eight-by-ten photograph of Knick. "Just take the photo of a contestant and mark a red x on it with the red marker, like so."
The host marks an x on the Knick photo. He then draws elf ears, a mustache, and a beard on it.
"Really?" The journalist said unimpressed.
"You may now go to vote."
Confessional – Sara – Dangerous Serpents
She marks an x on Violette's photo. "I could care less about a sack of garbage like you. You're only going to make things worse for the team."
Confessional – Violette – Dangerous Serpents
She marks an x on Sara's picture. "This will teach you not to be an insensitive jerk. Glad to know Casey and I see eye to eye."
Confessional – Jeremy – Dangerous Serpents
He is having a hard time deciding between two photos.
Confessional – Casey – Dangerous Serpents
"Nothing personal Sara, it's just how the game works," She said as she marks an X on Sara's photo.
End Confessionals
"The votes have been counted," Chris said. "The campers with no votes are Jeremy."
The messy shaggy hair teen catches his marshmallow.
"Casey"
The youthful-looking girl catches the marshmallow and swallows it.
"Georgia"
The actress catches hers and smiles proudly.
"And Pharaoh."
Pharaoh catches his candy, a surprise to him. "Wow, this is the first time I've never gotten a single vote."
Knick, Sara, and Violette look at each other as they realize all three received votes.
"On this plate, I only have two marshmallows," Chris told the three for dramatic effect. "Knick, you're at the bottom because of certain tactics during your first time on the show and making a lot of enemies."
"What else?" Knick sarcastically asked, not amused by the host making him look bad.
"You did your best out of your team during the challenge. Which proves that you're still a competitor to be reckoned with," Chris continued. The host then looks at Violette. "Violette, while you did perform okay, your constant arguing with Sara most likely annoyed your teammates. Hence why you're in the bottom three."
"She's the annoying one," The sly girl whined.
"Which is why Sara is also at the bottom three," Chris said smiling as he pulls out a picture without revealing the eliminated camper.
"Hey, I just tell it like it is," Sara clarified. "If she can't handle it that's her problem."
"Doesn't matter, the first Dangerous Serpent being eliminated is…"
"Wait? You're not going down to the bottom two?" Pharaoh asked the host.
"Nah, there's way more tension with these three remaining," Chris answered quickly as Chef nods, agreeing with him. "The camper eliminated is…"

Dramatic music intensifies. A close-up of Sara and Violette is shown glaring at each other while Knick begins to get nervous.

"Violette!"
"What!?" Violette shouted, surprised that she is eliminated. "No! I cannot be out already. You guys rather keep her than me!?" She pointed at Sara.
"Aw, is the little baby going to cry?" Sara taunted. "You should know better than to cross with me."
"Violette, the boat of losers awaits," Chris said.
Violette sneers at her ex-teammates. "You all made the biggest mistake." She walks down to the dock of shame.
Once she is out of sight Chris looks at the remaining six Serpents. "You all are safe, for now."
Confessional – Knick – Dangerous Serpents
"Violette may be somewhat clever, but she is an unreliable ally to keep in the long run. Plus, this team needs a leader if I want to win. Sara has shown to have the best experience in that regard. Hopefully, I don't regret not voting her off."
End Confessional
Violette steps onto the boat of losers. She turns to her left and notices Casey is standing on the docks.
"Bye, bye," Casey waved happily.
"You! You told them to vote for me. You used me," Violette cried out, feeling betrayed.
"I know, feels awful, doesn't it?" Casey said with a sinister smile as she tilted her head a bit.
The person driving the boat starts it and leaves with the eliminated camper on board.
"Noooooooooooooooo!" Violette cried once more.
"And that was just the tip of the iceberg," Casey told herself, triumph in her victory. She then proceeds to head back to the cabin area.
"Now that was awesome," Chris said to the camera. "Thirteen contestants remain! Who will be the next camper eliminated? Find out next time on TOTAL… DRAMA… RADIANT REDEMPTION!"

And that was the first chapter of Radiant Redemption. Going to be explaining why I selected each contestant back into the game. Before I do that though, an explanation on Violette being voting off first. To those who read Back to the Islands, remember in one of my author's notes that I did not figure out the proper punishment for her? Well, here it is. Her getting a taste of her own medicine.
Now to explain the OCs that have return and why there are on the hero team or villain team.
Heroes
Christopher: Out of everyone here, he deserves to be in the Cranium Knights the most. He never did anything awful during Crowstillo, has encouraged others to become stronger, and reached the final four. Guarantee spot there.
Jared: Honestly, he could have been a hero or villain. He was not exactly heroic during his first run. Even though he wanted to prove himself a valuable member, he did keep annoying his teammates from time to time. Not much as Pharaoh though. He landed on the Cranium Knights team because others are more sinister than him.
Buck: The contraption man. Being a hero is a given due to him being nice towards everyone all the time. While he and Simon did had a confrontation, it mostly had to do with Violette's presence. He also reached the final four which helps a lot.
Yves: She looked out for her team, succeeded in getting rid of Georgia, and made it to the merge. That qualifies her enough.
Ingrid: Finalist and never caused trouble to anyone.
Sami: The second most deserving person to be in the Cranium Knights. Her niceness and helping her team during a leading crisis give her nice points. She also made it to the final four.
Leon: Not going to lie, last-minute addition. Since I was deciding between Daniela and Georgia for the final villain spot, I forgot I needed another male to balance the gender ratio. It was between him and Pixel for the final hero spot. I decided Leon will be the best as he has great plots going on with Pharaoh and Knick. Plus others that I will be giving him.
Villains
Knick: How can I not put him on the villain team?
Saraphina: Same case with Jared. She could have been a hero or a villain. What sealed the deal for her to be a villain was breaking up Lucy and Pharoah's friendship.
Casey: Ms. Crazy mastermind herself. While she did defeat Knick, she also caused the eliminations of Ashley, Jared, and could have save Pixel but did not feel like it. Definitely deserving of being on the Dangerous Serpents.
Pharaoh: While being an actual good guy, his acting as a Pharaoh during the pre-merge in Crowstillo Island secured his spot here.
Violette: The antagonist that made it the farthest during Back to the Islands. Despite her early departure from this chapter, she did deserve to come back.
Jeremy: He is categorized as a villain because of Chris. The only male villain from Back to the Islands is Chase, but he did not make it far enough to gain a spot here. So I went with Chris putting Jeremy here for locking him up in his trailer.
Georgia: Considering that Jeremy's ending is the canon one, I figured Daniela would not come back since Jeremy gave her some of his money, prompting her to not care about returning. This is where Georgia comes in. Despite not making it to the merge, she was responsible for Raymundo's elimination, caused drama between her teammates, and wants revenge on the Cranium girls and Knick. Lots of plot potential there.
Hope you enjoyed reading the chapter. Remember to leave a review and/or PM me what you think about this start.
