TW: Blood. And overall normal Danny Phantom angst.

Danny landed roughly on the ground, tripping and trying to catch himself with his legs before he fell. He tripped a couple steps forward before his legs buckled beneath him, he collapsed onto a heap on the ground. He pulled himself up against the wall of the dark wet ally he was now hiding in, making sure no one would see him. He was panting like crazy. Tears staining his cheeks. His core feeling like it was pulling itself inside out, he felt betrayed, betrayed by his own family, his own parents. That is as if he could call them parents ever again. What was wrong with him? He knew it was a terrible idea. Why couldn't he have just kept it secret a little longer?

Danny gripped onto his chest as two familiar bright rings appeared around his waist traveling over his body. His white hair and burned and destroyed jumpsuit now became raven-colored hair and a t-shirt and genes. The bright glowing light that was lighting up the small corner of the ally he was hiding in faded into complete darkness. The red color of blood started spreading over his white and red shirt as it instantly started soaking up the blood that was pouring from his side. Blood also dripped down from his arm onto the ground.

He hissed in pain as he leaned his head back against the wall. His core screamed at him as it was trying to rapidly heal his body before he died of blood loss. Danny grabbed onto his shirt and pulled it up slightly, the shirt peeling away from his skin as the blood tried to make it stick. Underneath it revealed a large ecto burn across the side of his torso. He looked away for a moment, not wanting to see what it looked like. Closing his eyes tight, he reached into his core and pulled some cold into the palm of his hand.

He slowly brought his glowing blue hand towards his side. Both hissing and pain and sighing in relief when the cold coated the burn. The frost spread rapidly across his side, nipping at the corners of his skin and slowly stopping the burning sensation.

Danny carefully pulled the shirt back down over the wound and pulled his knees to his chest. Voices kept echoing through his head. 'Ghost!' 'Monster!' 'Waste of ectoplasm.' 'Just a creepy little boy, with creepy little powers.' Tears started falling down his cheeks again. 'You're not our son! You're an emotionless abomination, a freak of nature, just a ghost...'

When Danny woke up suddenly, jumping slightly as he heard someone walk by, He quickly hissed in pain and gripped onto his side that was screaming in agony from the sudden movement. After a couple seconds, he had fully opened his eyes. It was still dark out, but the corners of the sky had tinges of oranges and purples in it showing that it was early morning. Danny's eyes wandered around the dark and grimy ally he found himself in. He had hoped the whole thing had just been a big nightmare. He'd wake up in his room and everything will be fine. His secret, still a secret. But I guess life doesn't work that way. At least not for Danny.

Danny almost gave in to the urge to look at his wound, but he couldn't. Not now. He gripped onto the wall before pulling his feet under him. He got up slowly, his legs wobbling slightly as he put all his weight on them. He was so weak. His core had put all of his energy into trying to heal his burn as fast as it could.

What was he going to do? How will he survive out here? There is no way he will be able to transform now. Even if he had enough energy. They would be able to track him. His ecto signature would show up on every scanner in the country. Whatever this country was. His parents probably would have told the GIW by now. Danny held back tears as he thought about it.

He shook his head trying to get himself back together. Maybe he could use his powers if he was careful about it. But if anyone sees him they could just go and tell the police, and that would lead to the government, and then eventually his par- the Fentons. He stopped himself; they can't find him, they can't. That means he can't… can't be Phantom… never again.

His powers are a curse. His death is a curse. The halfa, the monster. Everything Phantom-… -everything he touched, crumbled. He is useless. His core started screaming at him. He can't help people, not as Phantom. Not anymore. Never again.

-Far away a clock chimed.-

Danny sighed he needed to get out of this alley. He looked down at himself, he quickly realized he had come across his first problem. Clothes. Danny couldn't very well just walk out into some city wearing blood-covered clothes. That would get him all kinds of bad attention.

And then came his second problem. He had no idea where here was! Danny knew he had flown far, far away from America, never looking back. He had picked one direction and flown. He couldn't let his parents catch him. He knew he had flown for at least 5 hours straight before he found land again. After a little longer he had found this ally for him to hide in before he passed out soon after. Right now, Danny just hoped that the people here spoke English, because if not that would come with its own set of problems.

And then the third problem. Food. Danny often doesn't eat. But after a large fight or injury, he needs to replenish all the energy he lost. Seeing as he doesn't have access to the ghost zone like most ghosts would use to heal, he would need to eat normal food to keep his core going.

Okay, where is he going to get these clothes now? He slowly walked to the mouth of the alleyway, limping slightly. Peering out carefully, his ears perked up as he listened closely for people. He didn't see or hear any people near him, probably because of how early it was at the moment.

The first thing he noticed was a small family-owned bakery across the road on the corner. He didn't recognize the writing on the sign, great. But that would be a good spot where he might be able to 'borrow' some food. But still, he needs to find clothes first. His eyes scanned over some of the other shops in the area. One of them looked to be some kind of thrift store. And even better it appeared to be closed.

The fewer people the better. He sucked in a deep breath and felt himself fade into invisibility. He quickly looked down at his hands to make sure he had left the visible spectrum before he walked across the road carefully. This will have to be the last time he would use his powers.

Once he made it to the window he peered in, his enhanced night vision helped as he scanned over the shop. Seeing a clothes section, and that no one was inside at the moment. He reached his hand over to the glass and phased himself through the wall into the dimly lit store.

Danny kept a tight hold on his invisibility as he looked around the store. After about 20 minutes of searching, he had found some perfect clothing for him. First was a black t-shirt with a red stripe on the bottom, the next was some nice blue genes that were slightly long, but that didn't matter to Danny that much. It would work. There was nothing else he needed right now. And nothing more he wanted to steal.

Danny was starting to walk out, he placed his hand on the window again to see if there was anyone else out there. Just when he was about to phase through something caught his eye. Laying on the counter was a black hoodie. That wasn't there when he came in, was it?

Danny spun around and lifted it up to look at it more closely. It was mostly black, only with a dark green cuff. Danny smiled lightly. It was perfect. He had no idea why but he felt like he was drawn to it. He quickly put it on over his new shirt and pulled the large hood up over his head.

Danny hated stealing but he had no other choice here. He would need to somehow find a job. That is if someone would hire a 15-year-old boy with no references and no parents. Danny sighed as he stepped back out through the wall again. He walked down the road until he came up to the bakery.

Danny gazed into the display window still invisible. There were all kinds of macarons and pastries sitting on the display. Danny sighed as his stomach rumbled. He carefully reached through the glass and grabbed onto one of the smaller pastries. Danny's core pulsed slightly as if it was telling Danny off for stealing. He quickly pulled the pastry through the glass and started walking away.

He had walked about three minutes away from the bakery, he quickly checked over his shoulder before returning back to the visible spectrum. Nibbling on the small pastry as he walked. It was one of the best pastries he had ever had. He was very surprised. Then again, most of the cooking he had been subjected to ended up coming alive because of the ectoplasm his… mom had put in it.

He sighed after remembering his family. How could he have messed up so badly? He never should have tried to tell them. Maybe if he had kept his mouth shut they would… Still love him-.

Suddenly he bumped into a young teenage girl as she ran past him. She had a pink headband-like thing and blond hair with some bright colors dyed in it, it was brought into a bun at the back. Her brown jacket was covered in small little pins attached all over it, and she had amber eyes. She was also holding two textbooks against her chest with one arm. She called out what Danny assumed was some kind of apology, but he couldn't understand it.

As Danny started to walk away his core pulsed angrily. Danny paused for a second before whipping his head around. He quickly ran a couple of steps before grabbing onto her arm, yanking her back just as she had started running into the road. She yelped in surprise for a second as she fell back towards Danny just as a car passed by exactly where she was about to cross. Her eyes widened and she spun around her head to look at the teen who had saved her. Still holding her books.

She started thanking him profusely. Danny quickly realized that it was French she was speaking. But then something weird started to happen. Her words slowly started getting easier to understand as she spoke. Danny blinked a couple times as he tried to see if he was hearing this right.

"Oh my… Wasn't… attention… Thanks for… my books. I am so sorry. I was in such a rush. I had to get these back from the library and then get to class." The girl said in a rush. After a couple of seconds, she started to seem shyer and shyer until she was eventually mumbling the last part.

Danny was so surprised at the fact he started to understand her, he didn't say anything for a second. Was his mind interpreting her language into English? Well his mind did the same thing with Esperanto. But he just guessed that it was because Esperanto was a language all ghosts kinda knew. This was different.

She looked up at Danny with concern for a moment. "Are you okay?" Danny was snapped out of his small little trance.

"Oh yeah, thanks." He responded. Immediately surprised at the fact that the language that came out of his mouth was French! Being a ghost was getting weirder and weirder. "You're the one who almost got run over, are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'll be fine. Thank you." She stuck out her hand. "My name's Mylene."

Danny financed for a second when she stuck out her hand before grabbing onto it with a smile. "Danny." He introduced. "Sorry for pulling you back so fast." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Don't be sorry, you saved my life. I was just rushing so I could get to the school early." She explained. "Oh, right school!" She started rushing away. "Nice meeting you Danny, thank you." She waved behind her with a bright smile on her face. This time making sure to check both ways before rushing across the road.

Danny smiled. She was nice. And he had a sneaking suspicion that he would be meeting her again. As soon as he had watched her round the corner he had started walking again. That language thing was weird. He paused for a second looking down at himself. "Test, test, one-two," Danny said aloud. It was in English. Why had he talked in French when he was talking to the girl? He sighed, stuffing his hands into the hoodie pockets, and started walking again.

Suddenly his hand brushed up against something. He completely froze. There was something in the pocket of the hoodie. He grabbed onto it tightly and pulled it out to examine it. It was a hexagonal black box with a blue intricate pattern on the top. Danny was worried he had stolen something really important to someone before he noticed an ecto green sticky note.

He narrowed his eyes and pulled it off the bottom of the box. Reading it carefully.

Hello, Daniel.

You are going to need this.

I trust you will use this well.

-CW

Danny's eyes widened reading the note. This is from Clockwork!? Does it have to do with his family? Is something wrong? Use what well? He quickly turned into the closest ally and turned the box over in his hands. It looked like some kind of jewelry box.

He opened it wearily. Suddenly a bright light was emitted from the box and a small blue creature with a fin on his head and a long tail appeared in front of him. "Hello! My name is Finn! Nice to meet you."

Authors notes

So this is just the first chapter. I know it was very angsty for the first chapter. But I needed that for the start. I have so many plans for this story and hope you will read more.

Finn is a kwami OC of mine. Everything about him will be original. Seeing as Danny can't be Phantom to save people he will need to take on a new hero persona, without his ghost powers. What will the other heroes think, especially seeing as Master Fu didn't give him a miraculous in the first place?

Okay here. Danny has all of the powers he had in the show. everything in the show has happened except for Phantom Planet.

For MLB. Everything up to the Feast episode has happened. SE 3 E17. Master Fu still has the miracle box and the Feast creature hasn't come through yet so master Fu still believes all of the other miraculous are gone. That is unless someone could somehow time travel and save one of them. But who could possibly do that? XD

When I am much better at writing I will come through and fix any problems I may have left. But I did try my best to make sure it made sense. Please tell me what you thought so far. And what do you think will happen next?
