Hello, I'm back with another one-shot. Thanks for the reviews!

Hope you guys like it. Please Review.

Warning : Quite OOC (though you can't really blame me in this one)

I don't own Maid sama! or any of its characters.

Living with a pregnant wife shouldn't be this hard.

But apparently for Usui Takumi, it was just so.

"Takumi?" she timidly said, hoping against hope that his alien sense of hearing could pick up even when he was sleeping.

"Hmm?"

.

.

Apparently it could.

"Um…"

"….What is it….?" He said drowsily; his voice unintentionally husky, laden with sleep.

"I-I, um…"

"…."

"…Do you think we might have some broccoli in the fridge...?"

"….broccoli?"

"Mhmm?"

"Why do you want broccoli?" he said, voice still a bit husky, with a bit of laughter underlying it.

"U-um….I-I….I don't know!" she said, her pitch rising till it became a sob.

"W-wai…Misaki! Hey, it's okay! Look, I'll make you whatever you want. What do want me to make with broccoli?"

"C-can you make me some pasta?" she said, trying hard to reel in her uncharacteristic sobs; feeling more and more embarrassed by the minute.

"…Sure. Anything you want, sweetheart."

"Honestly speaking, I already knew that pregnant women got mood swings…..but I really didn't know that they could be this bad."

"Or maybe it's because Misa-chan's mood swings outdid everyone else's." Takumi said, holding back laughter when he saw Misaki's face with an adorable pout.

"Sh-shut up, idiot Takumi!" she said, mouth stuffed with her husband's homemade mouth-watering pasta(with broccoli).

"Haha, Misa-chan, you should know that it's bad to talk with your mouth full."

.

.

.

"YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Eyeing the dark aura around Misaki covering a ten-metre radius, a thought ran through his mind which, if she had mind-reading abilities (that she accused Takumi of having), Misaki would have killed him for.

.

.

She sure is cute.

"TAKUMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

What did I do? Did I forget to cook the pancakes right? Did I forget to dribble on the maple syrup? Did I forget to put strawberries? Or is it something else? Wait a minute, is the baby coming? THE BABY IS COMING?!

The near-hysterical typhoon of thoughts in his head was stopped short when she yelled, "Where in the world did you put the zucchini?!"

Zucchini?

"Uhhhh…what do you need zucchini for, honey?"

"Takumi, stop pretending. You know it's my weird cravings!"

Despite having gotten used to the weird cravings she got while she was pregnant, asking for zucchini while she was eating pancakes sure was something.

"So, the baby wants zucchini paired with pancakes this time?" Wow….

"Um, apparently?"

"Oooooooookaaay?"

"Ugh, Takuuumi. Just get your lazy ass down here."

"Coming, coming."

And after getting down the zucchini from the top shelf of the cabinet, which Misaki couldn't take (because of Takumi frequently warning her not to stretch or do anything extreme; something like climbing the counter), she had simmered down considerably.

She had eaten with relish (Takumi couldn't understand how zucchini and pancakes could taste good at all), yet the satisfaction in her eyes made it all worth it.

And after finishing her breakfast, she'd showered him with a brilliant smile, and even more small smiles sent his way throughout the day, when she thought he wasn't looking.

She's cute all right.
