The heavy wooden doors of a tall imposing building swung open, the hinges squealing from overuse. Not even caring to look up, the brooding pink-haired dragon slayer continued sharpening his trusty knife, the black karambit sat in his left hand and the sharpening stone sat in the other. Dragging each side of the knife against the stone gently a few times. Satisfied with the sharpened edge, he then took to spinning the knife on its tip delicately, his calloused finger preventing any blood to spill. He had just recently added this one to his collection after having taken it from a blue haired freak pretending to be him, it had flames running up the side of the handle and was surprisingly well made. It was an unintentional find but there he was sharpening the thing.
As he continued to sit in the shadows of the second floor of the guild, familiar voices and scents filled his sharp ears and nose, twitching in disgust at those who had clearly never touched water before. Strong auras also jumped out at him as they each bounced off each other, when he was new to the guild it always used to give him a headache but now, he was used to the hustle and bustle of the early mornings at Fairy Tail. Members running in and out, joyful or tired; whether it was someone leaving for a mission, returning from one, celebrating or not, he never felt the need to look over, in his eyes they all bored him to death. That was until he felt her aura. In fact, it was almost potent as it engulfed his brain almost like a spell he looked over. As he scanned the entrance, he locked eyes onto the offender, a memory taking over.
"Let's grab some food Natsu!" a cheerful voice rang out from beside him. Natsu rolled his eyes, while he was far beyond used to the blue fur-ball he called his best friend, he still wasn't a fan of the happiness that shot out of the flying cat.
"Yeah, yeah. We can grab something the second we get back home." Natsu grumbled out. He heard a moan for 'fish' but ignored it as the commotion that they were approaching was becoming more intriguing. It seems the whining cat had also noticed the noise and began to slow his pace with Natsu.
"Hey Natsu, what do you think is going on there?" The cat questioned.
"I don't know Happy, but I think I heard those girls say Salamander…" Natsu had altogether stopped and watched the collection of screeching and squealing women grow in size.
"What's with that? As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only Salamander 'round here."
Natsu was starting to get angry, he didn't just allow his name to get thrown about here and there. He had now settled into a scowl and was quickly approaching the circle.
From what he could see, the small market square was filling up with women chanting out the name, 'Salamander' over and over again to a man standing in the middle. It was then he decided he was fed up and it was time to see who was causing such a ruckus. He quickly shoved his way through the horde not caring when a woman would yelp out in annoyance or wince in pain. When he reached the source of annoyance he was met with a relatively tall and slim man with spiky dark blue hair, it looked as though it had been styled purposefully so that the awful tattoo scribbled on his face was front and present. The man wore a dark cape which covered the white shirt and red pinstripe trousers he sported. Natsu couldn't help but notice the neck fastener on the Cape which held a flame and a matching pouch sat at the hip presumably containing a knife. At this point he was disappointed; the man didn't even look remotely like him so why was he pretending to be him?
The mental aura he felt from the blue haired man was awful, he sensed deception and arrogance and saw a black fog circling his heart which Natsu had learnt meant the person had bad intentions.
Finally speaking out Natsu decided to get the snobby man's attention. He found, "Oi!", was all it took to break the conversation the strange man was having with one of the women. Frankly he thought it might have to do with the tone and volume he used but he brushed past that when the man gave him his attention.
"Well, this is certainly a first", the man spoke out and glanced at his ring. He muttered a 'that's not how this usually works' before looking back up at Natsu. "Listen sir, I'm flattered truly but I'm only into chicks." And smirked.
Natsu growled deep, his shoulders shivered as he felt his anger building up, he was raring up for a punch when he was once again met with the voice of the man who was inciting this feeling.
"Woah, down boy," the man had raised his brows having clearly heard Natsu's growl earlier, "be a good boy and walk away."
Natsu didn't think twice before throwing his well-trained arm through the man's face. He would not be spoken down to let alone like a dog. The punch came with such force that the man skidded far into a crate of fruits on the other side of the square. An immediate chorus of shrieks came out of the mouths of the loyal followers, all of them quickly turning to look at the attacker. However, losing their attention again to dote on their distressed master. Natsu waved away his hand as he began walking away pleased to have received justice. He didn't care to listen to the swears coming from behind him.
Natsu crossed his arms over his chest and continued walking only to freeze when he felt a gentle hand tap him on the shoulder. He raised a brow and almost cackled, if this was the strength the man from before was coming at him with, he would have no problem demolishing him. Only he was surprised to see a young woman who looked around his age looking up at him with the most apprehensive look on her face. He had to admit she was cute, one arm crossing over her large chest to grasp the other just above the elbow and head tilted to one side.
Now having walked away from the large crowd of women doused in perfume his nose was clear and the scent of strawberry hit him hard, but when the initial scent of her shampoo wore off, he could focus on her mental aura: heavenly. Shaking his head, he snapped out of the thought… that's impossible. Thinking he was mistaken and not wanting to dwell on it much longer he looked down at her indicating she should start speaking.
She simply smiled and began to speak, "Hey… I just wanted to say thanks. I'm pretty sure that guy had us all under some sort of spell," she glanced backwards, "although the spell didn't break for them," she frowned and turned back to look at him.
His brow was raised, questioning why she was even speaking to him, biting her lip she continued, "Right! Sorry… I interrupted you but I just wanted to say thanks… who knows how that could've gone." She finished and smiled genuinely it seemed.
Natsu shrugged and nodded, "wasn't on purpose but your welcome lady." He heard a small giggle and then spied Happy who had now taken rest on his shoulders. Natsu watched as the woman reached her hand out and pet him. He almost choked on the air when Happy actually let her touch him. Happy was a lot friendlier than himself but he knew for a fact Happy didn't like people petting him. Maybe he also sensed her aura?
"Aren't you the cutest?" she asked in a soft voice, "I've never seen a breed like this before," this time her gaze meeting to look up at him. He rubbed his chin and sighed, she's not like the other girls he's met during his travels. Usually, they flirt with him more obviously, this was a new tactic and he didn't know whether he liked it or not.
"He's not just a cat, he's an exceed." Natsu was getting bored of the conversation and wanted to get home already, however said exceed started licking the woman's hand causing her to giggle even more.
"I'm hungry Natsuuu!" Happy suddenly yelled out.
"Wow, he speaks!" She spoke out, her eyes sparkling in excitement, the white and yellow mist of her emotional aura becoming stronger. Her hand still scratching under the cat's chin.
A sudden loud grumble sounded out from Natsu's stomach, betraying him. The woman took a look of surprise and giggled. Natsu almost blushed looking to the side and raising a hand to his head fluffing his spiky pink hair.
He quietly muttered to himself, "Guess I should've listened to Happy earlier," he then grabbed Happy from off his shoulder causing her to still her hand. "I guess we should probably grab some food then huh." Watching as Happy nodded.
The woman grinned as a twinkle entered her eyes, "Hey, how about I buy you guys lunch since you saved me and all!" She spoke cheerily and returned her arms to her side.
Happy gaining energy almost out of nowhere exclaimed, "Really!?"
The woman nodded innocently, looking over at him to get an answer from him.
Natsu thought it over, so far, he didn't feel any threat but her aura was definitely suspiciously too clean. But he decided a free meal was too good to let go and shrugged yet again, "Sure." He began walking again letting his sharp nose guide him. He merely flickered his eyes over to his side to now see the woman following alongside them.
Now that he had gobbled down the food placed in front of him just moments before, he had a chance to fully analyse the woman sitting politely chewing on her food in front of him. On the walk to the café Happy had decided to converse with the woman quickly learning her name was Lucy.
Lucy was around his age only being two years younger than him he felt better knowing he wasn't chilling with a minor. She was quite perky, the complete opposite to him and then there was the problem with her aura. On the walk to the café, he concentrated hard trying to properly identify it but came up short finding only the heavenly aura he sensed earlier.
Auras had two aspects to them; mental and emotional. Emotional auras were dependent on a person's experiences and surroundings and so it constantly changed, these were presented through colourful mists and fogs appearing around the person. Mental auras were deeper seated and pretty much stayed the same no matter what the person does. Natsu found they were an essential part of an individual. When he sensed mental auras, words would appear into his head letting him know that's what their aura is. He was sure as hell glad he could sense auras as he had more than once been able to steer clear from crazy people. Natsu couldn't understand Lucy's aura though, heavenly? Someone being able to generate a sense of heaven around themselves was weird.
She had shoulder length blonde hair, natural from what he could tell, it was tied up with a bow leaving two pieces framing her pale face. He traced her face looking at her wide doe eyes noting the golden flecks changing within her iris every moment. He chose not to linger and instead moved on to her nose it was dainty and cute like herself. His eyes were then drawn down to her full lips, they were pouty with a sharp cupid bow. Definitely kissable he thought. He then looked down at her chest which was sizable and barely held back by a white off the shoulder crop top, sitting back and crossing his arms, he thought back to her body. She was fit but not overly muscular and voluptuous in general, her blue skirt was short, revealing her long creamy thighs, the rest covered by the long socks and boots she wore. So, she was a tease then? Locking eyes with her Lucy cleared her throat almost like she had caught him looking.
"So, you said you were passing through Hargeon, where are you actually headed?" She asked, crossing her arms under her chest causing her to reveal more of the hollow between her breasts, she then placed her forearms on to the table, discarding her plate. Tilting her head and keeping eye contact with him, 'definitely teasing me' he thought.
He spoke out before Happy could, "Sorry, we don't tell strangers where we're headed. Not exactly safe for us now is it." He spoke sternly, letting her know he wouldn't budge from his belief.
"What? Even a girl who bought you lunch?" She fired back faking offense. She giggled when he grumbled and continued, "But that's a good rule to have, I think I'll take that on board."
He raised a brow surprised to get that kind of response. But almost sighed in relief when she stood to leave, thankful she wasn't a crazy stalker.
"Uhm, thank you again for helping me earlier and for accompanying me for this lunch." She bowed politely and grabbed her purse. She left some money on the table and walked off when Happy had said goodbye, waving like a mad man. Natsu just raised a hand in a short quick movement giving her a sort of side wave. She left swiftly leaving Natsu and Happy alone again, he didn't normally have lunch with strange women but her offer to pay was more than enough besides she was a looker. He thought that would be the last of her though.
As they slowly trekked up the mountain it had turned night time and Happy had just woken up from his nap on Natsu's shoulder. Natsu was glad, hoping it would mean they could fly back to Fiore sooner. They looked onto the small town of Hargeon. Lights bright and dim lit up around, the once bustling streets completely quiet. He breathed in a deep breath and looked out into the distance. From beside him he heard some chatter coming from a brown and blue haired woman.
"I wish I could be on that boat." A young brown-haired woman spoke.
"Same! I heard it was Salamander hosting the party." The other blue haired woman responded.
"Whose Salamander?" The brown-haired women asked.
"Oh, you know the mage from Fairy Tail."
"Oh wow, it's really him?"
"From what I heard yep!"
The two girls had continued their conversation but Natsu didn't care to listen beyond that point. He was infuriated, the overheard conversation confirming his earlier suspicion that the blue-haired freak with a tattoo had been pretending to be him. Natsu scowled, the last thing he needs is for yet another rumour to spread about him being a demented perverted demon.
While he didn't like the idea of travelling back to get on that boat he would have to, especially if he wanted to be hired on a job ever again.
Lucy stepped out from the busy cafe leaving behind her two new acquaintances she met earlier in the day. She wasn't completely sure why she decided to go up to them but the manners taught to her during her time at the manor screamed at her to thank them and she believed it was the same manners which caused her to offer to pay for their meal. Not to mention how handsome Natsu was. It was rather odd how she ended up under that love spell but she was sure as hell glad to have been broken from it.
She continued to walk in the direction she had ended up detouring from and sat at a bench, she looked down at the map she had brought with her. A red 'x' written over a certain location. It was then that she was startled by the same dark-haired man from before tapping her shoulder.
"Well hello miss, I believe we have met?" Lucy almost screamed but settled for a squeak as it felt as though the man had literally jumped out of the bush behind her.
She cleared her throat, "Ha, yes that's right." Her brain screamed at her to run knowing he might put her under a spell again but she stayed put on the bench determined. She watched as the man then came and sat right beside her grabbing her hand. She cringed and attempted to pull it away.
"Well, I'm glad to have found you, you see I'm holding a party on a boat later tonight and I was hoping you would come. Especially now since you want to join my guild!" The man raised a brow waiting for an answer.
Lucy shook her head, "wait what, how did you know I wanted to join a guild let alone yours? And who even are you?" She questioned, finally pulling her hand away. He was getting creepier by the second and as much as she wanted to stay seated, she didn't like the fact he knew where she was headed, taking on the advice she gained from Natsu and Happy.
She then stood grabbing her stuff pausing when she heard his response. "Well first, I'm Salamander of Fairy Tail. Second, I couldn't help but look at that map of yours and see that you had Fairy Tail as your end destination!"
Lucy's eyes widened and excitement built up inside her, "Wait! You're a real mage of Fairy Tail! That's amazing, but is your name really Salamander?" She questioned as it seemed like an odd name for someone, she heard the other women calling him that earlier.
"Ahh no it's actually Bora." He spoke out charmingly grabbing her hand again, "So how about you come to the party and we talk about you joining Fairy Tail?" He asked her again.
Lucy thought about it for a second, what if he was tricking her? Maybe she was mistaken about being under a spell earlier. Deciding it was too much of a good opportunity to pass on, she agreed, "Yes I'll be there!" She couldn't help her excitement; her mother had told her all about Fairy Tail when she was younger and couldn't be more pleased to carry on her mother's work.
"Great." Bora said dropping her hands and beginning to walk away, "See you there."
Lucy dismissed his rude exit and instead raced back to her motel room to change into something more appropriate, the room wasn't particularly glamourous but rather inexpensive.
Lucy hadn't brought much with her when leaving home but she knew to pack at least one of her fancy dresses.
She now found herself on an expensive looking yacht, loud music booming around her. She was being led to a more private section of the boat by Bora, who had swiftly grabbed her and complimented her silky red party dress. It was figure hugging and revealed all her goods. The slit that ran up her thigh and the low-cut neckline definitely made her feel sexy. Bora opened a door to the captains' quarters and led her to the sofa in the middle, she noted the suspicious curtain behind her. He left swiftly, wanting to grab her a drink.
However, the second she had stepped onto the yacht she began to worry, noticing quickly only women had been invited to this party and all the exits were guarded by large scary men. She thought about her next possible moves and stood up ready to leave this nightmare, she didn't feel safe at all in this situation. How stupid was she to think Bora had genuine intentions? Having made a couple steps towards the door, she paused when Bora entered the room blocking her escape. He held up two glasses of champagne.
"Here you are milady." Bora smirked and pushing one of the glasses into her hands.
Lucy gave a fake smile and took a small sip and immediately scrunched up her nose at the salty taste. Her time alone taught her to recognise the signs of a roofie. She dropped the glass and backed away from him. "You tried to roofie me!" She yelled out hoping to get the attention of those around the boat for help but the music was far too loud.
"Fuck", she muttered out and went to reach for her keys.
However, before she could move her arm, she was being dragged backwards by large cackling men, "Huh, you surprise me. You're not just another dumb blonde!" Bora shouted out, a sinister grin sporting his face.
Lucy shrieked as he reached forward brushing his rough hands against her exposed thigh, if she wasn't completely restrained, the man would have been half way across the room. A large sweaty hand clamped her mouth shut. She squirmed as he continued his way up to her waist, grabbing her keys roughly and shaking them tauntingly in front of her "You won't be needing these where you're going!" he proceeded to throw them through a small window beside him.
Her eyes widened; over the years she had managed to build up her strength to summon her spirits without her keys but she required both her mouth and her keys to be nearby to do that. Closing her eyes, she tried to kick at him as he brought his hands back to her hip inching lower and lower.
Before he could get any further, a loud crash sounded from behind them. Bora snapped his arms back and spun quickly to face the creator of the noise.
The ceiling had been busted through a blue cat and pink haired man now stood menacingly, fire completely engulfing his hands. His eyes glazed over into a shade of red.
"Natsu? Happy?" Lucy shouted now free from her restraints, the men holding her back had let go after noticing the fire wielding man. She sighed in relief, Natsu was clearly strong, she would be able to help all of the other women on the boat now. Her thought quickly broken when the greatly chiselled man doubled over in pain. Her eyes widened, "You're joking!"
Natsu, now doubled over with his face now pale, gagged, all the menace leaving his body. He was seasick!?
The other men in the room cackled, some speaking out "WHAT A LOSER!" others shouting out, "WIMP!", instead.
Lucy turned watching Happy wrap a tail around her waist lifting her into the air. She looked back down at Natsu suffering silently, he still had his hand lit up with fire ensuring none of the men stepped up to him. "Wait what about Natsu?" she questioned pointing down having now been lifted too far to even try to grab him.
"Sorry, I can only carry one of you! He'll be okay!" The cat yelled out. She was now looking down at the boat they lingered over the sea. "Uh oh" the cat muttered.
Lucy heard him clearly though and looked up angrily, "Uh oh, what do you mean uh oh?" She screamed through her teeth.
"I ran out of power." He said sheepishly.
But before she could yell out to him, she was falling quickly into the water below. Squealing at the sharpness of the cold water as she floated to the top. "Oh god!" She let out.
Her head was spinning, familiar voices ringing out to call her name. Looking around she spotted the shining of her keys from a rock below her. Quickly diving in she grabbed them and once again floated to the top. Happy was waiting for her with a confused look.
"I found my keys! On solid ground I can summon my spirits without them but in the water, I NEED them!" She quipped feeling them jingle in her hands.
Happy tilted his head clearly still confused. She ignored him and pulled out her favourite key, Aquarius. Holding it in front of her she spoke out, "Gate of the Water Bearer, I open thee! Aquarius"
In front of her a glowing rune appeared and a busty mermaid with blue hair and matching tail soon popped out, the glow filling the air soon dissipating. The woman was clearly furious, arms were crossed over her chest, the water jug she appeared with now tucked under one armpit. "How dare you drop my key!" She boomed out furiously.
Lucy bounced back in fear, "Aquarius I'm sorry! I was attacked!"
The angry woman dropped her shoulder and nodded, "Just don't make that a habit! So, what do you want me to do?" The mermaid questioned looking over at the boat.
Lucy thought about it for a second and finally said, "Blast it! Full force!" and pointed to the boat with smoke billowing out from the spot Natsu had busted in.
Without any hesitance the zodiac pointed her water jug at the boat and blasted a fast thick stream of water. The boat zoomed through the water faster than it had been travelling, getting stuck on the sandy shore, she lifted up a hand in triumph, "Thank you Aquarius!" said women simply shrugged and disappeared leaving Happy and Lucy alone again. She thought through the benefits of her request, the council would definitely be informed of the boat, the men on board would be shaken up and Natsu's seasickness should go away!
She and Happy then began swimming back to the shore quickly, watching the boat as new people shaped holes appeared, smoke following shortly after. When they got to shore Lucy's dress and hair stuck to her skin slowing her down as she attempted to get to the action. When she got to the top of the boat she watched in awe as Natsu had completely regained his strength. The bodies of the men who were holding her back lay scattered around them. Bora was now cowardly weeping on the floor charred in multiple places, a hand raised up in fear, "No, no, I'll never do it again!" he whimpered out.
Lucy almost laughed at how pathetic he looked but paused when Natsu turned to look at her, clearly only having just noticed her. She was taken aback at his ferocious look, his eyes were now a dark red, his lips curled into an evil smirk and flames curled off his body. Despite the immense workout he must have pulled, he didn't have a drop of sweat on him. She almost let her mind wander to other ways he could use his clearly great stamina. But shook her head as she watched him stare at her, a head cocking to one side. He seemed like an animal investigating it's prey, almost like he was no longer recognising her as an ally.
Her heart rate picked up as she began to think he would attack her next but sighed in relief when he blinked and his emerald eyes returning to its rightful place. His smirk dropped into a resting position. He then watched as Happy came to hug and sit on his shoulders, "Natsu, you did it!" he happily rejoiced. She watched as Natsu smiled small and pet the cat gently.
He then turned his focus to her, clearing his throat, "I'm thinking that water thing, was you?" he asked pointing to the boat now on shore.
She smiled and walked forward nodding, she lifted her keys in front of them, "Yep, courtesy of my spirit friends!" she then put them down as he nodded.
"Thanks, the motion sickness was kicking my ass." He then turned his face back around to the still whimpering Bora, who had tried crawling off when Natsu got distracted.
Natsu rolled his eyes and stepped on Bora's chest, "Don't even try it," he muttered.
Lucy inspected the man, fury building up as she remembered how he touched he tricked her and then assaulted her. Clenching her jaw, she grabbed him by the cape and punched him. HARD. Blood sputtering from his lips. Natsu chuckled from above her, pressing his boot even harder into the bleeding man's chest stopping the man from wriggling away from his new attacker.
She swung again, "If you even dare!"
Punching again forcing his head to the other side, "THINK! About TOUCHING!"
Another punch connecting to the middle of his cheek, "another girl! Again?"
Now squatting and staring him in the eye, "I will KILL you!"
She squeezed his face, her nails creating an indent, blood threatening to spill. She waited until he nodded weakly before letting go.
Natsu watched as she let go, pleased with the damage also releasing his foothold on the man who lay slumped, barely conscious. He stepped back and watched as she stood and stepped backwards herself to admire her work. He then watched her kick the man hard in the balls. He cackled as Bora winced and cried. He then heard her mutter, "And that's for your scaly disgusting hands touching me up…" he stopped cackling. Shit... that guy was touching her up before he got there. He said nothing and watched her roll her shoulders and look around.
He watched her bend down and pick up a familiar pouch. She quickly turned and giggled, pointing to the décor on the pouch, "Hey look, it's perfect for you!" the flame pouch that sat on Bora's hip now sat in her hands. She opened it and took out a knife, "Ooh, look this has flames too!" She brought it closer to him. He thought it was strange how a person could go from severely angry to cheerful so quickly. She had sported a black emotional aura earlier but it had now become the usual white.
He grabbed it from her and inspected it, "It's a karambit, it's not bad…" He looked down at her curiously. It was clear she had no idea what type of knife it was but asked her anyway, "You want it?" he brought it closer to her to inspect but she shook her head.
"Nah, I think I'll keep the pouch instead." She shoved the pouch around her shoulder.
He opened his mouth to ask her if she wanted to ditch the boat or stay but the loud sirens growing closer to them stopped him. "Shit! We gotta go." He grabbed her arm and pulled Happy under his armpit, pulling them all off the boat turning a sharp corner to run from the council. He did not want to have to deal with them again. He didn't hear her protest but heard her squeak in surprise. When he remembered he didn't know where he was going, he pulled her into a dark alleyway. He heard her protest and so put his hand over her lips. Looking to the side to see sirens flash past them. Sighing he let go of his hand on her mouth also letting go of Happy at the same time. He looked back at her and saw a smile grace her lips and her eyes twinkle. She giggled out at the silliness of the situation, his eyes widened, what is she… crazy?
Hearing a ruckus beside them, he shoved her against a wall and covered her mouth again, whispering at her he spoke to her, "are you trying to get us caught?" She shook her head and she pouted against his hand clearly trying to get him to let her go. "Fine I'll let go but you have to shut up." He watched as she nodded.
Slowly letting go of her he sighed in relief when she was silent. A cheeky grin still on her face, whispering she spoke, "You know I've always wanted to be stuck in an alleyway with a hot guy." She bit her lip and looked up at him seductively.
He smirked; this girl was bringing about something different in him. She was on the verge of being shipped away yet here she is giggling and flirting with him about it, deciding to play into his desires, "Well can't say the same for myself." He brought his hand up to her face and caressed it, swiping a thumb over her lips.
She shuddered at his touch, his movements warmed her up, she was now acutely aware of her wet clothing. Wanting to share in his warmth, she brought her face closer to his, their nose touching ever so softly. Letting his lust take over, his lips crashed into her plump ones. Not shocked when she reciprocated just as hard. His other hand grabbed at her waist pulling her closer to him. Her lips firmly caught by his, she reached up his broad chest settling her hands on his shoulders; however, quickly moved her hands, reaching up his neck under his scarf, usually he would've stopped the intrusion from ANYONE but for some reason he didn't really care with her. She raked her hands through his hair, grabbing and pulling at the spikes. Growling out in satisfaction he deepened the kiss, their tongues met both battling for dominance.
She moaned as his hand reached around to squeeze her ass. However, this seemed to also pull her out of their moment. She pulled away; her lips swollen from the assault. That didn't stop him as he moved his lips down her neck nibbling and sucking, "W-wait, we shouldn't do this he- ", interrupted by her own moan as he moved to her cleavage. She begrudgingly grabbed his face bringing it back up to look him in the eyes, "I have a motel room not too far from here."
He watched as her eyelids drooped and her breath coming out hot and heavy. Her usual white emotional aura giving off a pink and red hazy mix. Making a quick decision to detour from his journey home, he pulled her off the wall and looked down at blushing face, "Well what are we waiting for?" he growled out.
Lucy glanced behind her as the blue cat muttered in Natsu's arm. She didn't bring back guys to her motel often but when she did it was usually because she liked them A LOT, she didn't know why but she felt such a good connection with Natsu making this whole ordeal even more important. She hoped Happy would stay sleeping when they got to her room, he had fallen asleep on Natsu's back in the alleyway and had so far stayed that way. As they got to her room, she grabbed the key and allowed Natsu to enter first. She watched as he set Happy down on the couch, seemingly also thankful he stayed asleep.
She then watched him survey the room quickly. Turning around she shut the door and locked it. But just before she could turn around, hot lips were feverishly attacking her neck again, she moaned in surprise and pleasure as his warm hands circled her waist. She dropped the pouch she had collected and placed her keys safely on a shelf beside them. She then quickly raised her arms behind her, her fingers massaging Natsu's scalp. He growled out in satisfaction and nudged the strap of her dress down her shoulder. Getting his message, she reached her hand back and reached for the zip, she tried unsuccessfully to pull it down frowning in the process.
He chuckled noticing her frown and moved her hands away, tracing his rough hand up her spine following the zip, she shuddered again breathing out softly. He tugged at the zip gently, satisfied when her creamy skin was slowly revealed. Kissing down her back, he let the dress drop to her feet. She glanced back and bit her lip when he saw him practically drooling over her body, "you like what you see?" She asked him, startling him out of his daze. He grinned and met her lips as she turned to face him.
Hooking her arms around his neck she pulled away from him leaving small pecks over his cheek making her way to his ear, "Don't you think it's unfair how much more you're wearing than me?" she teased now grabbing at his belt, his large clothed member bulging now. Giving her a quick peck, he slowly pulled off his jacket, reaching up to his scarf he paused briefly.
Lucy watched with eager eyes and noticed how hesitant he was taking off his scarf, thinking maybe he had changed his mind. She bit her lip and with her hands on his chest she spoke again, "If you changed your mind, that's okay."
Honestly, she had been more than satisfied in such a short amount of time that she wouldn't have bothered too much if they stopped. Actually, that was a lie. She would definitely be bummed if they stopped but if he was uncomfortable, she didn't want that.
He looked up surprised and shook his head, smirking at her, "Nah, definitely haven't changed my mind", and captured her lips again. She immediately melted at his surprising softness. Pulling away again he took his scarf off and placed it beside her keys carefully. Working quickly to rid himself of the rest of his clothes except for his boxers. She bit her lips as her hands raked down his chiselled chest, she knew he was fit but 'Mavis he was hot'. He practically purred at her touches and instinctually placed his arms on her hips. His hot lips now attacking her neck, leaning her head against the door allowing him better access. He trailed his rough hands down her thighs as she brought up her legs to wrap them around his hips. He revelled in their synchronicity. Their clothed groins grinding against each other in the process.
He ravaged her heaving chest as she moaned for more. Her delicate hands made their way down his body, pulling at the waistband of his boxers, she dipped her lithe fingers under and grabbed his throbbing member causing him to groan and buckle forward. She giggled and bit her lip as he pulled her away from the door and threw her onto the bed, quickly crawling on top of her pinning her down. Kissing down her flat stomach she moaned, her hips bucking forward as her pulled her lace panties down with his teeth.
Natsu shook his head and looked down at his lap, feeling a boner coming on. Trying to move past it he went back into the memory remembering that after tussling in the sheets for what seemed like forever, the pair quickly fell asleep exhausted from their full adventurous filled day.
Lucy woke up to warmth hitting her everywhere, light attacked her eyes and birds chirped. When she finally blinked her eyes open, she remembered the reason she was warm, Natsu. She knew he was a fire mage but didn't expect his entire body to reflect that too. Speaking of which was rock solid. Her arm was resting on his abs and her head was resting on his chest, from here she could hear his heart beating gently and felt his even breath. She felt his strong arms wrapped around her lower back and blushed as she looked up at him, memories of all the positions those muscular arms held her in starting to come back to her. He was definitely better than the other guys she had been with. Which probably meant he got a lot of practice; she bit her lip realising this was probably just another one-night stand to him. She rolled her eyes at herself for even thinking he would want to take this relationship further. Shaking those thoughts out of her head she carefully traced up his arm with her fingertips and came across an interesting tattoo, she was sure she had seen it before but before she could dwell on it any longer, she felt him stir. So, retracting her hand she looked up at him to see him waking up.
Natsu looked down at Lucy surprised she was awake, the light hitting her face gently highlighted her cheeks and the familiar golden flecks returned to her eyes. He had spent a lot of the previous night staring down at her doe eyes, pleased by the red flush which adorned her cheeks the entire night. Staring back down at her now, he focused again on her lips, remembering all the mews and moans that came out of her almost tempted to capture them with his again. Shaking his head of those thoughts he realised now he was stuck, usually he was able to wake up before the girl and would leave without issue.
He guessed she noticed his nervousness and gently spoke out, "Don't worry, I'm not gonna freak out if you want to leave, I'm not new to one-night stands." She started pulling out of his arms and turned her back to him. His gaze landed on her bare back raking his eyes up and down spotting small hand shaped bruises forming on her hips, he grimaced remembering he could be a little rough if unchecked. She seemed like she didn't care and spoke to him over her shoulder now, "Last night was fun but it seems like you're not the kind of man to stick around for very long. I'm not expecting anything big from you." She spoke softly almost disappointed; he wasn't surprised she was disappointed but was surprised she wasn't going to do anything about it.
Clearing his throat, he spoke, "Yeah, last night was definitely fun…" he paused, maybe he should grab her number, that was some of the best sex he has had in a while, but after he looked at her soft innocent face, he assumed she wouldn't be the type of woman who would want to be friends with benefits.
Moving past the thought, he continued, "It's just not a good time for getting into a relationship." He sat up rubbing the back of his neck, he felt bad, this being the first time actually having to explain himself. It didn't help thank her aura had taken on a soft blue shade which he knew represented sadness.
He didn't know what had gotten in to him, normally after going home with someone he is able to get up and leave before they even notice he's left the bed no matter how exhausted he was. But damn, he had felt so comfortable in Lucy's presence.
She turned back, blushing from the huskiness in his voice, "It's good, don't worry about it." With a slight frown on her face, she stretched and got up grabbing a robe from the cupboard. He looked away, feeling bad to look especially after the conversation he just had. Instead, he turned to look outside and stretched, swinging his legs to meet the floor. Behind him he heard her ask him a question, "Would you like to shower before you take off?"
Natsu thought about it but he would find a lake somewhere on his travels and clean up there, he wanted to get back on the road. He shook his head, "Nah, I'll just get out of your hair." He heard her respond.
"Okay, as long as you're sure. Just let yourself out, I'm going to take a shower." He turned and watched as she pets the small purring cat on the couch and walked into the bathroom locking it. He rolled his shoulder, sighing in relief he quickly got dressed and collected his stuff. He almost panicked when he couldn't remember where he left his scarf but stopped when remembering he had placed it on the shelf near the door. Making sure to grab all his belongings he woke up happy and grabbed his scarf wrapping it back around his naked neck. Looking at the shelf he noted the keys she carefully placed there the night before. He had never seen anything like them before but shrugged and left.
He paused after the door shut and turned around, something in him screaming to turn back and join her, to stay with her. Sighing he turned around and decided it wasn't best to do that, believing it was better for her if he just left. Leaving the motel with slight longing in his chest he made his way back home thinking he would never see her again.
He was quickly brought out of his thoughts when a commotion erupted at the bar. He watched as the hot blonde staggered over to the bar top, reaching a shaky hand out to brace herself. From here he could tell she was sick; her pale face was dripping in sweat and her breathing faltered. He heard shouts of concern coming from his other guild members, then she spoke up, her voice as weak as she looked at, "I just need to sit down", pointing to a bar stool but before she could make a move she was falling forward. He almost felt like he would jump up to try to help but stopped himself knowing his fellow guildmates would have had already caught her, raising a brow when they hissed back in pain.
He continued to watch as the ice-make, devil slayer mage, Gray, made his way through the crowd, a fiery red-head, Erza, on his tail. "What's going on?" he questioned calmly, looking down to Lucy who was being passed from one arm to the other.
"She just walked in and fainted, we caught her before she fell but she's burning up!" they quickly exclaimed, showing the steam that practically rolled off her skin.
Gray simply shook his head, kissing his teeth he picked her up looping one arm under her legs and the other supporting her back. Erza quickly and carefully placed Lucy's pale unmoving hands in her lap, letting go, realising the passed-out woman was burning up, "Quickly Gray, take her to the infirmary." She looked to the crowd; her silent message came across clear as the crowd that had formed around them parted quickly allowing Gray to make his way through. Looking back at the bar to see the usually cheery barmaids now paused in shock, not used to random people walking in and passing out suddenly and unexpectedly.
Erza spoke again clearly and demandingly, "Lisanna please inform Master Makarov of the situation and recommend he call Porlyusica. That young woman is very sick. Mirajane please join me in the infirmary, I believe you will be able to help."
He then watched the platinum blonde roll her shoulders, snapping out of the daze she was in and quickly popping into action, the door to the infirmary closing just as quickly as it was opened. The crowd dissipated soon after.
Natsu then spotted his flying friend approaching him with wide eyes, "Natsu. Natsu, did you see that?" He asked, settling into Natsu's lap, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him. "Did you?" He questioned again desperately.
"Yes Happy, yes I did. Now stop shaking me!" He growled out uninterested.
Happy stopped shaking him but continued to speak, "Wasn't that Luigi?" he asked.
Natsu raised a brow in confusion, "Who?" he aimed to sound more serious but it came out in a chuckle hearing how badly pronounced Happy said the woman's name.
"Huh?" Happy said confused, "Didn't we meet her in Hargeon? Luigi right…" he trailed off rubbing his head even more confused.
Natsu cackled at the ridiculousness and corrected him, "Yeah we blew up that boat with her but her name's Lucy, dude." He rolled his eyes when Happy giggled reminiscing on their adventure.
Happy shook his head having lost attention on his reason for talking to Natsu, "Aren't you gonna go say hi to her? She seemed like she was sick or something." Cocking his head to one side.
Natsu shook his head, looking over to the infirmary, "Nah Happy, remember the last time we bumped into that chick from Mermaid heel?" he shivered disgusted, reminding himself to never sleep with a woman in Fairy Tail's 'friendly guilds' list.
"I swear those spiderwebs ruined my clothes!" he shuddered again. At first, he was attracted to her laid-back demeanour and flirtatious behaviour but when he ran into her again at a market, she just about attacked him with her web magic, he was never going there again. He saw Happy nod and shrugged satisfied with the response. He was hoping the woman left without detecting him there, definitely not wanting a repeat of his situation with Araña although deep down he was mildly curious as to what happened to her, more confused as to why her refreshing and memorable aura seemed different from what he remembered.
Disclaimer: All credit to Hiro Mashima for creating Fairy Tail! I only own the plot to this story! Sorry for anyone I may have insulted with topics in this. Also don't mind the grammar, I'm not a professional writer I just do this for fun!
Hey! Thanks for reading this story, I really appreciate it. I'm back after such a long time. I took a break from writing fanfictions because I got busy with stuff but I thought I would give this story a try. Why not? If you have never read any of my other stories feel free to check them out but I won't be offended if you don't, not a fan of all of them but they're there if you're bored.
So, I made changes to Natsu and Lucy… obviously. I made Natsu a little meaner and demon like and I made Lucy a little more powerful and confident and the two of them are much more forward. Hopefully these changes work.
One other thing! I realise that the memory of Natsu and Lucy meeting should be strictly from Natsu's point of view since it's his memory and I switch back and forth between their different points of view (Which I hope is obvious when that happens) But lets not focus on that…
But anyway… how do you like the story so far? Do you like the changes I made in the characters? What do you think is wrong with Lucy? Let me know what you thought in the reviews.
PS. I'm not sure about the length of this story or when or if the updates will come :) I was thinking of just leaving it as a one-shot but I do have an idea for a second chapter in mind so let me know if you're interested in seeing that!
