To sum it off, the Pokémon League is a farce.
The people that lead such this organization are idiots. In the first place, encouraging the practice of solving problems by making Pokémon fight battles is the height of idiocy. If you want to resolve matters, then fix it yourself; don't involve powerful creatures than can release waves of pure destruction from their mouth, that's just asking for trouble. Human conflict should be handled by humans. By involving Pokémon in matters that don't involve them, you're just being cruel.
Under the Pokémon League, disputes that are solved by battling became the norm. Even problems that can be fixed by applying reason ended up on a six vs. six Pokémon battle. Pokémon battles are not the answer to everything; and the way the League operated for the past decades gave birth to the problem of everyone failing to use logic and throwing Pokémon to every inconvenience.
If this is the proof of a trainer's worth, then how can human continue to operate under the title of the most intelligent race on the planet?
The Pokémon League is a tyrannical organization that promotes the use of excessive force instead of diplomacy.
In conclusion, they should go Explode.

The woman wearing a lab coat massaged her temples as she finished reading the paper on her desk. Tired eyes peeked out of black hair framing her face, it was such a shame that her fed up expression ruined her otherwise attractive face. She was Hirasuka Shizuka.
"Hikigaya… what the heck is this?"
She knocked her knuckle against the wooden table and glared at a young man standing in front of her. Just like the woman, he had black hair on top of his head. The most prominent feature he had however, was a pair of dead looking eyes. He was Hikigaya Hachiman.
"My essay."
"If I remember correctly, the topic I gave yesterday was on how the Pokémon League contributed to the peace and order today."
"Indeed it was, sensei…"
"So then why did you write this crap? Are you a terrorist? Or perhaps an idiot?"
She let out a sigh as she rummaged on the drawer of her desk.
"That's rude. I merely wrote what the League has contributed to society."
"What you wrote was an insult to their name, but to all people who worked to build that League as it is today."
"Well, yeah."
Hikigaya shrugged as he answered. He glanced curiously as his teacher pulled out a laptop on her desk and started typing.
"I've heard rumors about you, but since I'm new here, I ignored them. Now I'm going to check your records."
Saying so, Hiratsuka let her eyes wander on the screen of her device and mumbled to herself.
"Here it is. Huh, mediocre grades in almost every subject except from Pokémon behavior. Remarks are not so good. Battle record shows 20 official matches with perfect record, nice. Didn't reach battle quota but was passed because no one wants to battle. Four school badges in possession. What. Three Pokémon are registered and they're… huh wait. What… what the heck?"
As if unable to believe what she was seeing, the woman rubbed her eyes and blinked dumbly, alternating her stare at him and her laptop.
"What the heck Hikigaya?"
The student shrugged again at the incredulous stare.
"Are you the next Red or something?"
"Although I'm flattered, please don't compare me to some super champion like that."
Hiratsuka closed her laptop and inspected him with critical eyes. A few moments passed before she nodded to no one in particular and stood up from her seat.
"This is perfect. Follow me."
"Huh? To where?"
"To where you will be corrected."

The two of them arrived in an unfamiliar the building that he rarely visited.
"We're here."
The classroom in question was nothing extraordinary, in fact, it might just be another storage room. But the way Hiratsuka was grinning, made him have a bad premonition.
"I'm coming in, Yukinoshita!"
Opening the sliding door without as much as a knock, Hiratsuka entered the room. Hikigaya warily glanced inside and saw a girl sitting properly with a book in her hand. He might have complimented her looks but his attention was drawn to what was beside her.
A Pokémon. An Espeon to be exact.
The lilac feline sensed the intrusion of the noisy sensei and directed its purple eyes to look at them. He was immediately fascinated by its mysterious stare.
"Hiratsuka-sensei. I thought I told you to knock before you enter…"
The girl inside complained before noticing his presence. Hiratsuka also looked and ushered him in.
"Oh my, what is that person doing here?"
"Do you know her, Hikigaya?"
"Nope."
Finally taking his eyes away from the Psychic feline, Hikigaya glanced at the girl named Yukinoshita. His response was automatic, without any thought behind it. For one he surely, knew about her. Not personally, but he saw her name several times on the ranking board.
"I don't believe we have met. But I know of him because of that incident with the Pokémon fanclub."
"Pokémon fanclub? Wait, those rumors were real?"
"Indeed. I witnessed the happening myself."
"Huh. Nice job putting them in their place Hikigaya."
Hiratsuka made a thumbs up in his direction which he returned. It seemed like he was not the only one fed up by the craziness of that particular club.
"Anyway, he's here to join your club."
Hikigaya blinked at the teacher's words.
"Wait, why?"
"This is your punishment for that awful work. You're gonna be member in this club."
"No way. I can just rewrite the essay."
Crossing her arms, Hiratsuka shook her head.
"Nope, not gonna happen. You decided to bark at the wrong tree Hikigaya. I could send your work to the League and you can see their response to that."
"Guh."
"But since I'm a nice authority figure trying to guide you to the right path, you'll only get off with this. Join the club, or face the consequences."
Hikigaya frowned and thought over the offer. Although he stands by what he wrote, if the League learned about his essay, it would bring attention to him. Attention he didn't want. He was bit of a social outcast and an introvert. People on his school he could tolerate, but people from outside learning of his existence? That would give him indigestion.
"Fine. I'll join."
The Pokémon League was still a farce though.
"And there you have it, Yukinoshita."
"What do you mean 'and there you have it?'"
"You do need members in this club you know?"
Yukinoshita sighed and made a complicated expression. She then stared at him, and paused.
"Before that. Hikigaya-kun, I challenge you to a battle."
Hearing her words, Hikigaya thought up to his essay. Even now his words were being proven right. People would issue a battled at the slightest.
"What if I refuse?"
"Then, my already low view of you would plummet down."
"Sounds troublesome."
Hikigaya was about to refuse when a strong grip landed on his shoulder. He turned to see Hiratsuka staring at him with glimmering eyes. He did not need to ask what she was thinking. She wanted to see a Pokémon battle.
"Whatever, let's go."
"Ahem. As the teacher, I'll act as the referee. This will be a one on one Pokémon battle. Standard rules apply. Hikigaya, you are forbidden from using that one for this battle."
He shrugged. Not like he was planning to.
Grabbing a Pokéball from his belt, he looked at his opponent already holding an Ultra ball on her hand, she looked beside her and delicately shook her head at the Espeon's curious gaze. He pressed the middle button and pointed the red beam into the ground in front of him.
What appeared was a rag like Pokémon with resembling a Pikachu. Its beady black eyes were visible from the holes on its disguise giving off an odd feeling. Yukinoshita stared at his Pokémon with furrowed eyebrows before she released her Pokémon. The red beam materialized as a humanoid figure with hollowed torso and crystal blue eyes underneath a mask.
It was a Mimikyu versus a Frosslass.
Both were ghost type Pokémon with secondary typing.
"Shadow Sneak."
Mimikyu extended a shadow appendage underneath it disguise and attacked from behind. It was a move Hikigaya used to determine his opponent's speed. But it seems the enemy would stay stationary on this battle.
"Yuki, use Ominous Wind!"
Frosslass released a gust of air that surrounded his Pokémon. Mimikyu landed the first strike but showed signs of being affected. Frosslass recoiled from the damage but seemed to be still healthy.
"Get in close. Shadow Sneak."
"That won't work again. Yuki, use Ice Beam."
"Shadow Sneak to dodge."
Frosslass released a beam of ice in why Mimikyu expertly dodged. It didn't disregard his first command and got in close, once he had decided that the distance was good enough, Hikigaya followed up.
"Stop there. Shadow Ball."
Mimikyu stopped using Shadow Sneak and produced a dark, swirling ball of energy, throwing it towards the ice Pokémon.
"Dodge it, Yuki!"
"Get behind her. Then another Shadow Ball."
Mimikyu took advantage of the speed provided by Shadow Sneak and deftly positioned itself behind Frosslass. Another Shadow Ball formed and made its way to Frosslass' unguarded back. The attack hit squarely on the target, having been disadvantaged from the relentless assault, the opponent gave a cry before it collapsed to the ground, barely conscious.
"And that's enough. Yukinoshita, it's clear that your Pokémon is too hurt to continue."
Before Hikigaya could even order his Pokémon to finish the battle, Hiratsuka intervened. Yukinoshita closed her eyes and recalled Frosslass without a word.
"Because the challenge was issued in front of an authority, this will be counted as an official battle. Congrats, Hikigaya, that's an official 21 wins without loss."
The boy in question sighed and quietly recalled his Pokémon. Hearing footsteps approaching him, he stared as Yukinoshita and her Espeon approached.
"I see that your wins are no fluke. The strategy you used was relentless."
"That's kinda my style."
Yukinoshita crossed her arms, clearly not happy with her loss.
"I guess a welcome is in order. You are now part of the Pokémon Service Club."
The what now?
