Cam tugs at the tie with nervous, shaky hands as he stares into the full length mirror that stands in the corner of his room. It's prom night, the last prom of his high school career considering he'll be graduating next week and he's unsure if he should even attend. Usually, he'd be meeting up with Josslyn and Trina but he hasn't talked with either of them since he revealed what he'd almost done to Jason. His entire soul ached with how much he missed them and he wants nothing more to call them. He'd decided to leave it alone though. The last thing he wants to do is push them. They're entirely right in their anger and disappointment and he's just grateful that things are at least somewhat better at home. Jake is finally speaking to him again, though the boy is obviously still upset. Cam knows he'd have been even more upset if he hadn't taken Josslyn's advice and told his brother what he'd almost done. He's getting therapy with Kevin and feels much more in control of his emotions, particularly his anger, he's even been working on a song in honor of Franco.

A knock sounds on the door, breaking him of his thoughts and he sees his mother open the door and step inside. "You look so handsome." She gushes, smile on her lips, the first smile he's seen since Franco died. She comes up behind him and puts her hands on his shoulders before she begins to tie his tie for him. "You know, I'm really glad you've decided to go to your prom." She informs him as she turns him around so he's facing her. "The last thing I'd want you to do is miss out on one of your last high school experiences."

The boy shrugs one shoulder. "You were right when you said it would be a good idea." He states unsurely.

Liz frowns at that. "You're upset about Trina and Josslyn, aren't you?" She questions knowingly, eyes soft and sad. At his nod, she speaks again. "I know you haven't talked with either of them since what happened, but tonight would be a good chance to do so. I'm sure they miss you just as much. The three of you have always been inseparable. And no matter how angry they are at you, they still care about you." She thinks of how both girls have asked her about her son when she'd ran into them at Kelly's or at the hospital when Josslyn went to ensure her ankle had healed correctly.

"What if they don't want to talk to me?" Cameron asks, staring down at his sock covered feet.

The woman in front of him tilts his chin up so he's looking at her. "Then you say okay and let them know you'll be there when they're ready to. That's all you can do, Cameron. If they aren't ready, it's not necessarily a bad thing. It doesn't mean that they never want to. It means that they need some time. As long as you understand that, you're golden."

The teen stuns his mom when he throws his arms around her, almost knocking her off her feet as he buries his face into her neck. "Thanks mom." He mumbles as she rubs comforting circles into the small of his back.

When he steps into the Metrocourt, he hears the laughter of his classmates, sees his teammates on the soccer team talking with a group of cheerleaders, and people swaying to the music. It's bright and colorful, indicating all the hard work the prom committee(something that he knows included both Josslyn and Trina) have put into the night. He swallows and looks around, swiping his sweaty palms onto his pants leg as he tries to spot the two girls in question. Guessing the two of them have yet to arrive, he heads over to the bar to order himself a soda. He's sipping on his drink when he hears familiar laughter that makes him whirl around. His breath catches in his throat as he sees Josslyn and Trina, arms linked, stepping off of the elevator. The two girls look lovely in their dresses, smiles lighting up their beautiful faces. Trying to gather his courage for what he's about to do, he gulps down the rest of the drink, sets his glass down on the bar and walks toward them. Cam immediately recognizes when they notice them as their eyes-one set dark and bottomless and the other bright and brilliantly blue land on him.

"Cameron." Josslyn speaks first, a faint smile curving her pink lips as she takes note of him. Her hand, nails painted a hot pink, lands on Trina's bare arm. "We wondered if you'd come."

Trina nods in agreement. "It's good to see you here." She adds, smoothing down the skirt of her long, sunny yellow dress.

"Yeah. I wasn't sure if I should at first but it's our last prom and mom thought it would be a good idea." He answers simply. "You two look good."

"So do you." Josslyn and Trina say in unison, making the three of them snort and dissolve into laughter, easing some of the tension.

"You know, we've been wanting to talk to you anyway." Trina speaks for the both of them, gesturing towards Joss with a tilt of her head. "You've been avoiding us."

Cam shakes his head and opens his mouth to deny their claims but Josslyn interrupts him.

"Trina is right. She and I figured we'd give you some time to cool off because your mother told us you've begun therapy with Kevin, but you won't even look at us in the school hallways. You always act as if it isn't allowed."

He swallows the lump in his throat and feels tears sting his eyes. "Because I didn't think that I had the right." He admits guiltily. "I hurt both of you with my actions in different ways and I either didn't care or didn't realize it. I don't know how to make up for that."

Trina feels her heart clench at that and she grabs his hand, squeezing it gently. "Cameron, you've apologized and we know that you are sorry. The fact that it's still bothering you proves how much you care about us." She shares a look with Josslyn who's eyes shimmer with tears. When the blonde nods in agreement, she turns her attention back to Cam. "We don't want to lose you."

"I don't want to lose you two either." Cam tells them in a raspy voice.

It's then that Josslyn darts forward wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her head in his shoulder. She feels Trina do the same, the other girl's arm sliding around his waist.

Cam has to steady himself from the force of their hugs but he wraps his arms around them both, feeling their hair tickle his nose. He can smell the scent of Trina's vanilla lotion and Josslyn's green apple shampoo as he does so. The entire thing his comforting and he feels tears spill down his cheeks at the fact that he's reunited with them. "I've missed you two." He says as he pulls away, swiping at his tears. He sees his best friends do the same and smiles a little.

"We've missed you too, Cam." Trina utters. "Can we promise that we won't fight like this again or if we do, we talk about it?" She looks at Josslyn and Cam who both nod.

"Yeah. I think we can do that." Josslyn smiles brightly, still looking lovely despite the tear streaks on her cheeks. "Anyway, enough of this! This is our last high scholl dance. Lets enjoy it!" With that, she reaches out and tugs a laughing Trina towards the dance floor.

Cam watches them fondly for a few moments, grin curving his lips before he sees Josslyn and Trina gesture for him to come to them with their hands and a tilt of their heads. Deciding he's going to enjoy this night just as his mother had wanted him to, he hurries towards them and lets them pull them forward. The three of the dance outrageously, uncaring of how ridiculous they must look, completely unselfconscious in a way you can only be with people who know you better than anyone and love you for all your flaws and positive traits. For the first time in months, since Franco was diagnosed and later died, Cam was looking forward to the future.
