Prologue

Currently waking up in his room in Charlotte NC is a young man named Leon Van Helsing as Leon is six foot two with a fit build as he has dark brown skin with a small black afro on his head as he has light green eyes and he is currently just dressed in a green tank top and black shorts as he quickly walks into the bathroom to doing his usual morning routine as he than got dressed in some basic clothes before he had to go to school.

Leon is dressed in a basic green T-shirt with blue jeans and black sneakers as he walks into his kitchen as he then sees his mother and father as his mother is washing dishes and his father is reading the news paper as his mother spoke up first.

"Good morning Leon…How did you sleep?" Leon's mother asked as things had been awkward in the Helsing home for quite a while as a wall had been put up between Leon and his parents when Leon hit thirteen as Leon had started developing strange abilities.

"I slept fine mom and I'm going to school." Leon said as he quickly left the house with his head down as his parents somehow wanted to support him, but he knew that they started to hate him because of the bizarre abilities he started developing as he is still trying to hide his powers from view as he soon got onto the bus for school and ignored everyone as he looked at his hands in slight fear.

"What am I?" Leon asked as in confusion as he saw his hands glow a bright gold for a moment before the bus suddenly stopped making everyone on it lurch forward in pain as the bus suddenly stopped before the roof of the bus was suddenly ripped off as all the teens and the bus driver looked up as they saw a person hovering in the air as this person is none other than one of the most wanted men on the planet.

Magneto in his crimson and purple uniform as the teens all froze in fear wanting to run and scream but it was stopped as they the bus suddenly got raised into the air before one seat on the bus was ripped off of the bus as the seat belongs to Leon as he held on tightly to the seat as it flew higher and higher into the air before he was face to face with Magneto himself.

"Leon Van Helsing, I have been looking forward to this meeting" Magneto said as Leon grit his teeth and swallowed what little saliva was in his throat before he spoke and wore his usual carefree mask that he used around people.

"Oh really? Well, if you are trying to make a good first impression than it is very lacking. No roses or flowers and you already try sweeping me off my feet." Leon said with a forced smile as he turned his head away from Magneto and tried not to look down.

"Well, you're certainly a smart one trying to hide fear behind a carefree and borderline insulting attitude but let me be clear. I am here for you because I want you to join my brotherhood." Magneto said with a calm expression that Leon couldn't really read despite how he tried to.

"No thanks Mr. Magnet. I have dreams and admirations to attain and becoming a wanted terrorist puts those plans at a stand still and I'd rather not have people in the military try to kill me anytime I go to the store or a public restroom." Leon said back as he scratched his head a bit as he looked down and saw what was happening as he saw someone or something that looks like a humanoid animal tearing its way through all sorts of people on the street as the police were trying to take him down but had no such luck.

"You shouldn't concern yourself with those humans Leon. After all those humans always bullied and hated you for being different even before you manifested those mutant powers of yours." Magneto said making Leon's eyes widen slightly.

"How do you possibly know I was bullied. I could be a person who bullies others after all." Leon said back as Magneto had a new smirk appear on his face.

"Unlikely given what I know about you. Throughout your life you never truly had friends and where always an outcast among your peers as students and even teachers hated you for being different and then when your powers manifested you had to hide them constantly and your own parents have become terrified of you." Magneto said as Leon didn't know how to respond but grit his teeth as he took a breath to try and remain calm and think of how to get out of this.

"Okay let's say I do join you. What happens to all these witnesses and what happens to my parents if they try to find me? Will you kill them to keep them quiet or even try to erase all traces of me by destroying my medical records and stuff like that?" Leon asked with a slightly serious expression as Leon was determined not to show Magneto any signs of fear.

"You are smart indeed. Now I can't say I would enjoy but yes I would have to kill some of the witnesses that can't be coerced into silence and I would have to destroy all traces of you to at least keep you anonymous from other people that would want to make use of you" Magneto said as Leon felt like his options for escape where becoming non-existent as he truly couldn't find a flaw in Magento's line of thought except for the idea of Leon being a mutant.

He would know if he was a mutant right?

"Okay what if I said yes and joined you right now without a fight…What would happen to my parents?" Leon asked in a serious tone of voice.

"Well, if they wouldn't remain silent. We would have to kill them." Magneto said honestly as Leon for once felt a spark of flame in his chest as he thought of his parents before answering.

"I'd rather die than join you." Leon said with a glare in a serious tone of voice but before Magneto could speak Leon's eyes where blinded by a bright flash of light making him close his eyes as he suddenly felt himself falling towards the ground as he couldn't even see how close he was to the ground before he suddenly felt himself stop falling. "Am I dead?" Leon asked himself as his eyes stopped hurting as he slowly opened them and sat that he is a few feet above the concrete that would have squashed him like a bug as he looked at two pairs of feet before he raised his head and saw two girls in front of him.

Wearing black and yellow suits as the first one is a red headed beauty while the second is a cute brown-haired girl as the red headed one had her hand in the air showing that she was the one holding him up as she moved her hand allowing Leon to move into a standing position as she lowered her hand and stopped making him hover in the air as he fell feet first onto the ground unharmed and safe.

"Sorry about that close call but you were falling so fast that I hardly had time to catch you." The red headed one said as Leon was in shock and didn't know what to say as he looked up and saw a woman he recognized from the news as this woman is named storm as her outfit…Didn't hide much.

Not that Leon was complaining but still.

"You don't have to be scared young man." A calm voice said as Leon actually felt himself become calmer and more collected as he and the girls turned around and saw a bald-headed man in a dark blue suit and pants with dress shoes come up to them in what looks like a technologically advanced wheelchair as the wheels had X symbols on them.

"Where here to help you and keep you safe" The man said in Leon's head shocking Leon as he just heard a strangers voice in his head.

"Wait your Xavier from the mutant school from the news…Does that mean?" Leon asked as he didn't finish the sentence before Xavier nodded his head to confirm the question.

"Yes, young man you are indeed a mutant and that is why Magneto came here to try and convince you to join his ranks." Xavier said as Leon looked over at the battle scene a fair distance away as he saw the animalistic beast fighting a scruffy looking man with knifes in his hands as more police and even swat teams made it to the scene.

"Professor this is getting hairy. We need to go." The brown haired girl said as she also looked at the scene of the battle as she had a look of worry and fear on her face as she also saw another mutant appear on the scene as she recognized this mutant who was a former student with her at Xavier's school as this mutant is wearing a red and yellow suit with a flamethrower type object on his back that connected to his gloves as he attacked people and their cars with large flames that he made dance and act as if he could fully control them.

Xavier than closed his eyes as he used his powers to telekinetically talk with someone before he opened his eyes and looked at the red-haired girl.

"Jean go and assist Bobby. Kitty and I will see Leon to safety." Xavier said as the now identified Jean made herself float in the air before she flew towards the battle as Leon suddenly felt a chill in the air as he looked up and saw another X-men but this one was riding on what looks like a slide made of solid ice as he also headed towards the battle. "Leon its too dangerous and risky for you to remain here so come along and we will take you somewhere safe." Xavier said as Leon wasn't going to question the telepath since he thought that he could just make him walk by force anyway.

So, Leon followed Xavier and Kitty as they went a few blocks away near a local park as Leon was shocked to see what looks like a black military jet parked next to the park and standing outside by the park is a man in a gamblers outfit and he is shuffling a deck of playing cards.

"Well, it looks like we finally found the man of the hour." The man said as he looked up as Leon, Xavier, and Kitty came up to him as he didn't look mad or upset but more like he found the entire situation funny. "Your powers must be something else if they made old Mags and Xavier both come crawling towards you at the same time" The man said as he stopped shuffling his cards before he put them in his jacket pocket.

"Ease up Gambit he's having a long day" Kitty said in slight annoyance as she crossed her arms.

"Your names Gambit?" Leon asked in confusion as the name sounded fake, but he didn't want to assume anything.

"It ain't my god given name but that's a life I left a while ago. So now it's just Gambit but the ladies usually call me Flare kas I show them fireworks." Gambit said with a cocky smile as Kitty just rolled her eyes while Xavier lightly sighed and rubbed his head a bit. However, Leon couldn't help but smile at that and given what has happened Leon thought that smiling was a good thing to do right now even if he couldn't laugh or take his mind off of the millions of questions that are rushing through his head right now.

"Leon it would be easier for us to talk on the ship, and you can rest assured that we won't try to kidnap you or anything." Xavier said as he and Leon looked at each other for a moment before Leon spoke.

"I don't know if its your mental powers or if its your accent but something about you is just way too calming." Leon said as Xavier smiled at that.

"Your, not the first to say that about me." Xavier said before they entered the black jet as Leon wondered how nobody noticed this massive thing as Leon took a seat as he and Xavier started talking as Leon is still having a hard time understanding that he is in fact a mutant as he truly has no clue about how his power works as the most, he can do is make his hands glow a golden color.

Granted it is freaky, but he never actually knew how the power worked or even what it can do as he just tried to hide it after his parents saw him making his hands glow which was when things became rocky with his folks.

"Leon how much do you know about mutant powers itself or more specifically how mutants are categorized?" Xavier asked as Leon tried to remember anything like that, but he never learned of any such thing.

"Sorry but Mr. Xavier but I don't know how mutants are categorized at all." Leon said as he scratched his head a bit.

"Well Leon mutant categories are very complex and hard to understand let alone put into mental action to actually try and categorize people but back in my school I have a machine that allows me to sense various mutants all over the planet based on the categories of mutant abilities.

Now some mutants have abilities that are so benign that they aren't even aware of the powers existence while others have no problem using their powers and with this machine, I was able to find you and I suspect Magneto had a mutant telepath that could sense your abilities." Xavier said as Leon looked back down at his hands as he tried focusing and made them glow in a golden color.

"If that's true than does that mean that you know what my power is?" Leon asked in slight hope that maybe Xavier could tell him what the power is.

"I'm sorry Leon but that is something that you need to understand and learn on your own. But on that subject, I can tell you that your power is unique and from what you've told me. It seems that your powers have also affected you physically as you've gained considerable muscle mass and dexterity after your powers have first started to emerge as you've never been in sports or really exercised before." Xavier said as Leon just ended up getting more questions in his head instead of answers.

"Chuck did you talk to that brat yet?" A gruff voice asked as Leon and Xavier both looked over at the jets main entrance and exit and saw that gruff man from earlier walking into the jet as this man is wearing a black suit with slashes of yellow and a belt with a red x symbol on it but the most important fact about him was the fact that he is covered in blood as Leon tightly closed his lips in fear as his stomach turned as he looked at the man who then looked at him.

"This isn't my blood and calm down I didn't kill anyone." The man said as Xavier sighed a bit.

"Logan this is Leon and we where in the middle of talking before you interrupted." Xavier said as Logan walked past them before he took his seat near the pilot seat as he actually reached into his suits pocket and took out both a lighter and cigar as he started smoking. "Alright Leon the reason I wanted us to talk like this is because I wanted to ask you to join my school for gifted mutants where you can learn more about your powers and more about yourself. However, I won't force you." Xavier said as Leon didn't know what to think as he looked back down at his hands as he tried focusing harder and made them stop glowing as he thought about everything that has happened in less than two hours.

He couldn't really go back to school after this since the other teens would probably think he is a mutant terrorist now that he was captured by Magneto and some of them might have been hurt in the chaos so they might want to hurt him as some sort of revenge but even than what Leon is thinking of most is the fact that he didn't know how his parents would react.

Would they be happy to get rid of him or would they be sad? Would they even want him at all since it is now clear that he is a mutant?

"I want to go to your school Mr. Xavier, but I have to talk to my parents about this first and ask them…I can't just up and leave them or anything like that." Leon said as he was afraid that Xavier would say something about how indecisive he was about making the decision or that he would take the invitation back.

"That's perfectly fine Leon." Xavier said with a kind smile and in no time at all Leon was walking back home as he was being escorted by Jean as the two of them neared his house as Leon couldn't help but feel nervous around the girl.

'Damn it. This is so awkward, and I want to talk to her but what do I say? Hi and thanks for saving me? Good call on coming with me red-head, I'd love for my folks to meet my future wife? Hi, I'm a social outcast like a penguin without a pack so what about you?' Leon thought to himself as he looked away a bit nervously as Jean slightly snickered making him look over at her.

"Is something funny?" Leon asked her.

"No. Its nothing at all." Jean said with a sly smile as Leon was completely unaware that Jean had heard his embarrassing mental questions that he was asking himself as they finally neared the front door of his home as he rung the doorbell and saw his father.

"Leon? Why are you here and not at school? And who is this?" Leon's father asked.

"Dad those are things I need to talk to you about so please let us in because I need to talk to you and mom both about this." Leon said in a serious tone of voice and soon enough Leon and Jean said in the Van Helsing household living room as they were sitting across his parents as he just finished explaining what has happened to him with the exception of how his was dropped several feet through the air and his conversation with the infamous Magneto.

"So…You really are a mutant, and you want to go to Xavier's school for gifted mutants?" Leon's mother asked as she looked down a bit.

"Yeah…I think its for the best but if you don't want me to go than I'll stay." Leon said as they where silent for a moment as Jean's face lowered a bit as she already knew how Leon's parents felt before they answered.

"If you want to go to that school than we won't stop you." Leon's father said sternly as his mother was just quiet.

"…I'll go and…I'm sorry I'm not the son you wanted." Leon said as he walked to his room as he felt like a black pit was in his stomach as he didn't truly know how bad things had gotten between him and his parents until now as it felt like they didn't even want him near them anymore as he went into his room and went into his closet and took out his spare backpack as he packed some clothes as well as his toothbrush, deodorant and other things as he knew he wouldn't be coming back here anytime soon.

Leon knew his home wouldn't welcome him back and that's why he just stood in his room for a moment in silence as tears came down his face as his heart felt like it had just shattered as he zipped up his second backpack and just held it in his hands while his school bag remained on his back as it had somehow been unphased by everything that had happened, but Leon couldn't care less about that.

"I'm sorry" Jean said from behind Leon as she walked into the room without him noticing but he didn't seem to mind.

"Don't be. This is for the best because I know they would have thrown me out eventually." Leon said as he just gripped his backpack tighter as his sadness swirled in his chest as it twisted into anger and self-hatred before returning to sadness and despair as well as loneliness as he thought back to before he started puberty since that was back when his parents where kinder and softer towards him.

"Come on. Staying here will just make it hurt worse." Jean said softly as she put her hand on his shoulder as Leon wiped the tears away from his face as he agreed with her.

"Your right. Let's go." Leon said as they left the house and started heading back towards the jet as Leon took on last look back at his home before he followed Jean back to the jet and soon enough, he was strapped into a seat on the massive jet near the window as he looked out of it and saw his neighborhood get smaller and smaller in the distance before the jet zoomed forward and he could no longer see his home neighborhood.

This moment was the definition of bitter sweet as a part of Leon felt happy and relieved to finally be away from all those assholes who bullied and taunted him or just treated him like he didn't matter or exist but a much larger part of him is still sad and hurt on how he was leaving his home as Leon now had no place to go as he would most likely have to live in a homeless shelter now that would hopefully be near the school because Leon really did want to learn more about his strange mutant abilities and how he fit into this world as the world so far has treated him like shit until this morning where people actually seemed to think that he was important.

Important enough to try and kidnap him at that.

Now the ride was a quiet one as Leon kept to himself as he looked out of the window at how fast they where moving as he saw buildings and clouds zoom by.

"Time for a new life" Leon whispered to himself.

{Marvels Helsing}

Location: New York-North Salem, February 11th, 11:53 AM!

"Whoa" Leon said as the jet slowed down as he looked out the window at the massive city of New York in awe before they came up to the school. Xavier's school for gifted youngsters.

"Landing now." Storm aka Ororo Munroe said as she was the one piloting the jet with Xavier's assistance as the co-pilot.

"Yeah, it's pretty crazy when you first see it huh?" The teen named Bobby Drake said as he also sat near the window as the school was bigger than Leon thought it would be as he saw dozens of other teens and kids doing all sorts of things like playing sports or studying and he even saw some people were using their powers without shame.

"Yeah, this place is massive. Is there even room for new students?" Leon asked as the jet landed on the school's basketball court of all things before the court lowered itself into the ground with the jet on it showing a large metal system was underneath the school as the jet soon stopped descending as it now rested inside of a massive dark blue metal hanger of sorts as everyone including Leon now got out of the jet.

"Finally, I was getting crampet by sitting in that chair for so long" Gambit said as he stretched after getting out of the jet as Leon just looked all around at how big this underground section of the school is as he tightly held onto his bag of supplies as he now felt a bit intimidated by the environment, he was in.

"You'll live." Logan said as the group walked through the halls of this underground section of the school before coming up to a large elevator that led them up into the actual school building via secret elevator door behind a large bookcase.

"Welcome to my school Leon." Xavier said as Leon stepped out of the elevator before he heard a school bell ring as several students started walking through the halls as he saw mutants all over the place as everyone was so different and came from all sorts of places as Leon was totally speechless as he didn't know what he even should say as he actually felt something odd as he looked at the other teens and some kids as he felt like a warm sensation was in his chest.

"That feeling is called acceptance and you can get used to it Leon. Now, come on and I'll show you to one of the spare rooms." Jean said before leading Leon through the halls as he noticed that some of the mutants gave him and Jean scared looks but not outright fear as if they were going to start trouble or anything but instead it looked as if they would prefer to keep their distance and that is something that Leon did understand as he knew how bad it felt to be around new people and he didn't expect people to suddenly warm up to him overnight.

"They aren't scared of you or anything. Their scared of me" Jean said as there is a bit of sadness in her tone as she led Leon around before finally coming up to one of the spare rooms as Leon was now in room G-23 as Jean opened the door to the room as Leon saw that he would be sharing the room as someone else is also in the room sitting on his bed as this guy is Kurt Wagner.

However, Leon again felt fear as this teen looked like a literal dark blue version of the devil, but Leon quickly took in a deep breath before swallowing what little saliva was in his mouth as he spoke up.

"Hey there. I'm Leon Van Helsing and I think I'm going to be your roommate." Leon said putting on a smile as he walked up to Kurt who stood up still dressed in some basic street clothes.

"It's nice to meet you Leon my name is Kurt Wagner, and it seems like you will indeed by my roommate, so I hope we get along." Kurt said with his own nervous smile of sorts as Leon felt some anxiety leave him from how Kurt spoke as Leon half-expected him to sound demonic and what not but after shaking his hand and seeing all the religious items in his half of the room, he got the sense that Kurt wasn't bad.

He was just a mutant with a misleading physical mutation, and it was wrong for him to judge him based on his appearance.

"I'll be back later to give you a proper tour but if I can't make it than I will send someone else. In the meantime, you should get yourself settled in and make yourself at home." Jean said before she left as Leon put his bag down on the left side of the room next to his new bed as he spent a good amount of time talking with Kurt while he put his clothes and things in the dresser near his bed as Leon now actually had a genuine smile put on his face as he actually made a new friend in Kurt Wagner.

-With Jean-

"That was pretty sneaky professor." Jean said with a slight smile on her face as she entered Xavier's main office of the school as he was behind his desk after just entering the office.

"Putting Leon and Kurt in the same room simply made sense Jean. They both had hard times being outcasts even if they do come from different environments so the best way to make them both comfortable is for the both of them to actually make friends that will give them reasons to stay instead of feeling overwhelmed and want to run." Xavier said not even denying what Jean said.

You can't really lie to a Telepath that is potentially stronger than you after all.

"Still couldn't Scott, Bobby, Rouge, or even Kitty have the same outcome?" Jean asked in actual confusion but not because she didn't follow Xavier's line of thought but mostly because he was against Leon and Kurt first bonding with the others.

"It isn't that they aren't options. It is merely the fact that I want them both to feel safe and welcomed here and having them befriend each other before befriending others will help solidify them wanting to stay here and learn that they don't need to be scared of others or themselves.

I've looked into both their minds Jean. I've felt their pain as I felt Leon's total isolation from his family and any form of friendship with other people as well as seemingly endless bullying he has endured as I have also felt Kurt who was threatened with death and scorned by everyone he has ever met as Kurt even fears himself and thinks that he is nothing but a monster in the eyes of the lord.

Both of them are different but both of them never truly had a real bond with others." Xavier said sadly as Jean couldn't argue that as she had felt the emotions of both Kurt and Leon as they are different in many regards but also similar in some making her sigh as she understood perfectly why Xavier didn't choose anyone else for both boys to bond with first.

"You think they will support each other and stand by each other because they won't want to lose the first real friend either of them has ever had." Jean said sadly as she also suffered from loneliness a bit but unlike the boys, she was able to cope easier and have a better chance in life due to her powers as her powers weren't as visible as Kurt's or Leon's but her powers certainly where more potent as they allowed her to gain mentally and emotional knowledge faster than others.

She became a genius at reading people without even needing her powers and yet she just totally failed to fully read Leon and Kurt.

"I know they'll support each other. That is what I want for them Jean. I want them to want to be here and for them to want to stay so they can truly accept who they are and that they aren't monsters." Xavier said as Jean was silent for a moment as she wanted to take back what she said as the others did have problems to overcome but ultimately Kurt and Leon meeting first was the best possible choice for either of them to have.

"I'm sorry professor. I shouldn't have second guessed you." Jean said as she toyed with her hair a bit nervously.

"You don't need to be sorry Jean. The fact that you spoke up about it means that you actually care about people and you did want both our new recruits to feel welcome and that's why I wanted to actually talk to you about the tour you're taking those boys on." Xavier said making Jean actually confused for a moment since she didn't dare read his mind to find the answer.

-With Leon and Kurt-

"You where actually in a circus? That's awesome." Leon said with a smile as he sat on his own bed while Kurt sat on his.

"Yeah, but it still had its challenges. The troupe leader was a kind man and treated me as if I was a normal person but some of the other circus members hated me and honestly, I can see why. I'm a monster." Kurt said sadly as Leon spoke up at that.

"No, you're not. A monster would be kind like you are and a monster sure as hell wouldn't be as devout as you are. Seriously your have even more faith than some priest dude." Leon said in honesty because from the short time they have been talking Leon understood just how much Kurt cared about his faith as his faith in god had saved Kurt's life several times making Leon feel like a asshole for judging him so harshly earlier and it also made him hate himself for being so weak before all this happened.

Compared to Kurt there wasn't much Leon had gone through other than bullying and being alone for years…That can't compare to having people actively want to kill you or burn you at the stake for the way you look.

"Thank you for saying so Leon but just look at me. My father and mother both abandoned me from birth because I am the spawn of Lucifer and they where right to do so. I look the part along with being able to stick to certain surfaces and when I teleport people smell brimstone and sulfur.

I am a monster and I can only pray for God's love and mercy as this curse of mine must be the ultimate test of my faith" Kurt said as he scratched his head as Leon wanted to say something or do something to make Kurt understand that he isn't a monster but the first time he went to speak he felt his words get caught in his throat for some reason and then the second time he went to speak he heard a knock at the door.

"This must be the tour we have to go on." Leon said as he and Kurt both stood up as Leon went to answer the door as he opened it and saw several people in addition to Jean.

These people are Bobby, Kitty, Rogue, Scott and Jubilee as Leon only recognized Kitty and Bobby as he was seeing the other three for the first time.

Rouge is dressed in gothic clothes with shoulder length brown hair with a single white stripe through her hair as he clothes for some reason left no skin visible as she is even wearing thick gloves.

Scott seemed like an okay guy in basic long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants with sneakers, but the downside was that he was wearing sunglasses indoors…Nobody is cool enough to pull of that look except Snoop Dog or Eminem. On anyone else it is just douchey…No offense to Scott of course.

Jubilee has dark brown shoulder length hair with dark red circular glasses over her eyes (Thankfully they aren't sunglasses) as she is also wearing some kind of 90's get up as she is wearing a red T-shirt underneath a puffy gold jacket with baggy jeans and red boots.

"Kurt and Leon, these are my friends Bobby, Kitty, Rogue, Scott and Jubilee. They wanted to come with you on the tour so you can feel more welcome." Jean said with a smile as both Leon and Kurt felt a bit awkward about it.

"Hey there Leon. We didn't talk much on the way here, but you can trust me when I say that I can show you all the best places in this school." Bobby said with a smile.

"And after he gets you lost; I'll make sure you find you way back here" Kitty said teasingly making Bobby slump over for a moment.

"Why can't you let me have a cool moment?" Bobby asked with fake sadness before Kitty elbowed him.

"Because you make horrible puns like that about your powers" Kitty said with a smile as she tried not to laugh.

"Hey, Kurt, I'm totally diggin' that blue color of yours and your black hair. Do you dye it or something kas it looks awesome." Jubilee said with a smile as she raised her glasses to get a good look at Kurt.

"Ease up their Jubilee they just got here so give them some space before you get all weird." Scott said as he lightly pulled Jubilee back by her jacket.

"I'm not weird I'm awesome and I don't here him complaining about it." Jubilee said before the large group of them started exploring the large school as everyone including Leon and Kurt where smiling as they were talking and having fun while going through the halls of the school as the school was a lot less lively now with most people trying to study and whatnot.

"Wait you've already got a drivers license?" Leon asked Scott as Kitty made a joke about Scott's car being a chick magnet, but his attitude made sure no girls ever went in it.

"Yeah. Don't you?" Scott asked back as they walked the halls.

"No. I don't know anything about driving." Leon said before Jubilee suddenly gasped at that which made her the center of attention.

"Guys Kurt and Leon have never been to New York and we need to make this tour memorable right? So, let's sneak out in Scott's car and hit up the town." Jubilee said to the group with mixed reactions.

"I'm in." Bobby said with a shrug.

"Well, it could be fun" Rouge said as she pretended not to care.

"Well, it could be fun to go out for a bit" Kitty said as she was also in agreement.

"No way." Scott said sternly.

"I'm with Scott. I don't want to get in trouble with the teachers if they find out." Jean said since she didn't want to be scolded by her teachers. Especially Ms. Munroe since she can really make you feel small and insignificant when she is scolding someone.

"We won't get in trouble if nobody finds out right? What about you guys? You want to hit up the town, right?" Jubilee asked looking over at Kurt and Leon who froze up a bit before responding.

"Well…It could be fun, and I don't really have a curfew anymore." Leon said as he thought about it for a moment. "Alright I'm in." Leon said as he was on bored with having some fun.

"I don't know…I don't want to cause any trouble." Kurt said before Jean spoke up.

"Kurt you won't be causing any trouble. If anything, Jubilee is the one causing it" Jean said with a deadpan expression.

"Hater." Jubilee said back casually. "Come on Kurt. How often do you get to go out and hit the town with your friends?" Jubilee asked as Kurt was a bit shocked for a moment before speaking up again.

"If I did go out than how could we do anything fun since I look like this." Kurt said as he didn't want his appearance to cause trouble for them since they clearly wanted to have fun.

"Jean can do that with her powers. She can make people think that you look normal." Rogue said making all eyes fall on Jean as she now had a tiny blush on her face as she looked away for a moment.

"Well…As long as nothing goes wrong than I could do it, but I still haven't agreed to go." Jean said stubbornly.

"Oh, come one Jean-y stop being such a stick in the mud. It's just one night of fun and I promise I won't try this again" Jubilee said as Jean scoffed at that.

"We all know that's a lie." Jean said as she crossed her arms.

"Okay that's fair. But please. Please. Pretty please." Jubilee said as she started begging which made Jean sigh after the tenth or eleventh time Jubilee said please.

"Okay fine I'll go. Just stop begging." Jean said making Jubilee smile and pump her fist into the air.

"Alright!" Jubilee cheered before everyone looked at Scott as he quickly realized he was greatly outnumbered in this conversation making him sigh.

"I'll get my keys." Scott said as everyone had bright smiles on their face including Scott even if he didn't want to show it as the group where becoming fast friends with Leon and Kurt and in a few minutes they where all piled into Scott's jeep as Bobby and Rogue where sitting on the back of it as they where safely secured by Bobby's ice that he used to create bars around them so they wouldn't fall off the jeep or anything.

"New York at night! This is what I call a tour to remember!" Jubilee cheered loudly as the few people walking outside at night looked on at the jeep that drove down the street full of teens.

"Okay where out of the mansion so where are we going?" Scott asked.

"I don't know. You're the driver so it's your responsibility to pick a fun place for us to hangout at and it better be a fun place with food and dancing." Jubilee said demandingly as she sat in the passenger seat next to Scott making him groan in annoyance before he soon stopped outside of a pizza place.

"Jubilee your paying for this and before you say anything I know about the cash wad you have hidden in your bra." Jean said as everyone got out of the jeep as Jubilee groaned sadly mumbling something about girl secrets as they entered the place and Kurt felt like his heart was about to explode as everyone in the shop looked at them as Jean had already been using her powers making him look like a normal teen.

"Huh?" Kurt asked as he noticed that the people in this place had just ignored him entirely as everyone went on about their business of eating and talking or playing in the arcade section of this place.

No insults or threats. Nobody jumping up to try and kill him or anything.

"You see I told you we got you covered now let's find a seat and eat." Jubilee said nudging Kurt's elbow with her own as they all took a seat at a large table in the back near the window as they saw the dark sky outside and the stars out as it had gotten pretty late.

"Alright so what are we getting?" Kitty asked as it took the group a while before they all agreed on what to eat as Jubilee ordered and paid for two large pizzas as one was all veggies while the second was an all-meat pizza.

"Goodbye cash wad." Jubilee said sadly before she grabbed her slice of meat pizza from her plate before all of their sodas arrived.

"Its good to see you smiling like this Leon. Earlier you where all gloomy and sad but now this is better." Bobby said as Leon hardly noticed he had been smiling and having fun this entire time as he actually felt like he finally had friends and belonged some place.

"Thanks Bobby. I like feeling happy like this too." Leon said before he took a bite of the veggie pizza before he noticed Rogue who took of her gloves to eat her pizza.

"Rogue if it isn't too rude to ask. Why do you wear those gloves and everything?" Leon asked as he was honestly curious about why Rogue didn't let any skin on her body show other than her face and neck.

"I can't really control my power like you guys can. It isn't something I can do but its more like something that just happens." Rogue said as Leon quickly got the sense that she didn't want to talk about it.

"Oh. Sorry I shouldn't have asked anything." Leon said before he quickly took another bite of pizza.

"No, its fine. I'm not bitter about it or anything. It's just inconvenient." Rogue said before Kitty quickly stood up from the table.

"No more power talk. Instead let's talk about the arcade." Kitty said looking over at Jubilee with an evil glint in her eyes and soon enough Leon, Bobby, Kitty, and Rogue were playing games in the arcade while Jubilee, Scott and Jean where still at the table looking up at one of the hanging televisions as the news had started talking about the events that happened earlier today with the official arrest of the dangerous mutant known as Pyro, but Scott and Jean knew him as John Allerdyce and a former friend of theirs.

"So tragic. So many lives taken away for no reason." Kurt said as the death of many innocent people and law enforcement was what they were discussing as a massive candlelight vigil was being held to honor the dead.

"It was horrific." Jean said to herself but both Scott and Kurt heard her perfectly well.

"You where there?" Kurt asked making Jean's eyes widen a bit since she didn't realize how loud she had spoken.

"Yes, I was. That's where we got Leon from." Jean said before the other members of the group came back to the table as Kitty and Leon where now holding prizes from the claw machine as Kitten had gotten a bright pink teddy bear while Leon had gotten a little stuffed dragon that was the classic bright green and red color.

"Already we had out fun, and Jubilee is almost out of money so do you guys want to hit up the arcade?" Bobby asked.

"Nah., I think where ready to head home." Scott said as they all were starting to feel a bit tired.

"Yeah, that's probably for the best." Leon said as they all got back into the jeep as the rode back to the mansion.

"There wasn't any dancing, but it was still fun. I just wish I didn't have to pay for it." Jubilee said with a yawn.

"Next time we'll pay but next time we aren't sneaking out." Scott said and soon enough he parked the jeep back in the parking garage as the group separated and went back to their various rooms in the massive school as Kurt and Leon both crashed on their respective beds from the long days they've had as they both found a new home and a place where they feel that they can fit in and be accepted.

A/N: Okay this story is just something I have to get out of my head so I can focus on my other stories as well as Rebirth V2 and Rebirth V1-5 which will be a non-canon story about Yuna if she was reborn into a separate world instead of DxD but I will try and update it when the mood strikes me but until than I don't have much to say other than I hope you all are staying safe and healthy.
