Author's Notes:
Sadly, I do not own PJO nor HOO, all the characters and settings belong to Rick Riordan.
I wrote this just for fun. So, if you don't like the story, you can tell me in your reviews and I may fix it.
Anyway, let's begin!
Reyna's POV.
Something bad was going to happen, I knew that when I saw the boy.
He was neither a demigod nor a god. He was a pure human. However, I did not believe that he was human either. He flew straight into Camp Jupiter. Some legionnaires tried to stop him, but they fell to the ground just when the boy raised his hand.
He landed beside me.
"Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano," he said, though I had no idea how he knew my full name, "glad to see you, Praetor."
He looked about fifteen, same as me. However, I really doubted it. He had black hair and pure black eyes, he was tall and thin. He did not have a weapon, but I told myself to be careful.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I demanded.
"You can call me Perseus. I am here to replace Jason Grace. I want to become the other praetor." The boy said calmly.
"Jason's missing, but he is not dead! We are still searching. And why should I let you, a stranger, take his place?" I yelled. I thought this boy, or man, was insane.
"Jason's alive, yes. However, it's June 12 today, isn't it? You need to choose a praetor on the Feast of Fortuna. I am sure that you do not want Octavian to become your co-praetor. And me? I will prove myself soon."
"Are you…A son of Pluto?" I asked. I really want to know who he was actually.
"You mean Hades? No. I am neither Greek nor Roman."
"Greek? There are really Greeks outside?" I was really shocked. What if Octavian found out…
"Yes. You will meet one soon enough. A great hero, a son of Poseidon. Now, will you support me on the election?" The boy asked.
"You need to prove yourself first." I said. Trying to be calm. Being a leader could not show any weaknesses. I was good at it. But today…This boy scared me a lot.
"Of course, Praetor. I demanded to join the Fifth Cohort. It's the best place to prove my ability."
"Fine. One last question, what are you?"
Perseus smiled, "I am a human being. Homo sapiens in Latin. What's wrong, Respectful Praetor?"
My dogs said nothing.
"Gaea is waking, Reyna. She and her children, the giants, are going to destroy the world. You need a powerful warrior." Perseus said, "I swear on River Styx that I did not lie."
Thunder boomed.
I was terrified. Gaea, the Earth Mother, was waking.
"Thank you, Mr. Perseus, for telling me this. Now, if you want to join the Legion, you need to have Octavian's permission, sadly." I said.
Perseus walked off. I sighed. Something was going on, and I knew nothing.
(Time Skipped)
"Praetor!" Octavian shouted, "Congratulations, Praetor. Perseus can join the Legion!"
"Put him into the Fifth." I commanded.
"Gwen, take Lord Perseus to your cohort." Octavian ordered the centurion of the Fifth Cohort. He looked at Perseus with respect, like he scares the augur a lot.
Gwen nodded and took Perseus away.
"Octavian, what did Perseus say?"
"Nothing." Octavian said quickly. My dogs barked. Octavian ran away.
This is my first chapter! Review please!
