Crossover between Miraculous Ladybug & The Snow Queen Franchise (Wizart Animation)
Can't believe I'm starting off another fanfic, because of a meme I made. I mean Rollan and Gerda literally are the Russian version of the lovesquare in some way, but they're aware who they are and all. (At the same time I would love the idea to make a lovesquare out of them, even if they totally look alike and would actually recognize each other) My plan actually was to make a love hexagon with both only, but I found out it doesn't really work -_- Would be cool, but who knows maybe I'm able to do this one day (In like 30 years).
Before the start, this chapter takes place near the end of the third movie of the Snow Queen franchise, except before the retrieval of the powers my fic turns forward in another direction. The Miraculous part will take at the start of S4 after Truth & Lies and the main ship will be GerdaxRollan and JulekaxRose. I may as well have minor Lukanette or Lovesquare interactions, but they're not the main ship.
„Come!" Shouted Gerda running out with Rollan, which had shouted a fireball towards a crocodile-robot, that had been sent behind them and got set on fire, stopping at the exit of the corridor, where the two teens turned around to approach a large pit filled with lava and in the middle was a large tower, where the wishing stone was located. Gerda held her hands flat activating her ice power and built over the lava a large ice field slowly reaching the middle, so the place was safer.
„Ah!" Gerda gasped placing her hands on her chest shrieking Rollan, which quickly reacted and caught her. He held her tight, then moved his eyes at the girl a little worried and she opened her eyes up to glance up at the Spaniard. „I….feel I'm turning into the Snow Queen,"
„No, no…..I'm with you," Rollan commented moving her hand away from her chest up on his cheek, so she would feel his warmth. Gerda slowly smiled at his comment, then she let him move her arm behind his back and placed his other arm behind her back and carried her further over the frozen ground carefully until both reached the tower, where they encountered the sphere colored in red and aquamarine. Gerda rolled her eyes at the dark-red-haired boy, which was focused on their path and the two got closer to the stone, then Rollan led Gerda to the light-blue side of the stone watching her place her hand on the stone, then he stepped aside to move to the red side of the globe. Both glanced at each other before they would renounce their powers, but first Gerda looked down at the ground, then back at Rollan, which curiously moved his eyebrow at her seeming to be hesitating.
„You also forgot the words?" Rollan questioned quiet making Gerda shake her head.
„I just wanted to say thank you, that you led me here as I had that heartache," Gerda said surprising the boy. „I'm happy I'm not doing this alone,"
„You're…..welcome?" Rollan responded thinking it was unexpected to hear this at that moment. Rollan looked at his hand and thought about the girl's words. Rollan closed his eyes, warping his eyelids tight as he felt something bother his thoughts.
„ What are you waiting for? Take your hand away" A deep, dark voice spoke in his head.
„What?" Rollan's mind questioned.
„ You really going to give up this gift and stay a loser? Didn't you want to stay super?"
„Y….yeah,"
„ Then why are you going to give them up? Just because that girl doesn't want it?"
„The world will go down,"
„ And do you think if you two do that you'll get recognized as a hero or what were you thinking to become…..ah right…..a legend?"
„Probably not,"
„ Listen to me. If you keep my powers, you can use them as much as you desire. You can become what you want – who you want. You saw how they have treated you. This troll lied to you by telling you stories and myths, which weren't all true, which made you look like a fool to anyone. The troll citizens see you as an incompetent human being, your conspesifics make fun of your interests and dreams. My powers can help you to gain all their respect,"
„Rollan!" Gerda exclaimed taking him out of his mind and look at the girl, which glared at him. „We've got no time,"
„But what will be about Gerda? She's my friend,"
„ If she was your friend, she would respect you as well, wouldn't she?"
„She does….I think….,"
„ You think? You're not sure about it. I know it.,"
„She's been through a lot. She only wanted to get into this, because she was after the fight with her brother desperate to have her parents back and I lied to her,"
„ This reminds me of a funny situation, that happened years ago with that troll friend of yours,"
„Orm?"
„ He lied to everyone in the kingdom to get out of the existential crisis, this led the magic of Lake Gao to form out his reflection the rebirth of the Snow Queen inside his reflection and freeze the world again like before, erasing him out of life and the reflection remaining,"
„He never…...wait Gerda told me that on our way here…..it didn't end well,"
„And this here between you and Gerda wouldn't end the same if you kept on lying,"
„I didn't always lie to her!" Rollan's mind complained.
„ Really? Your mother disappeared for real? The card to the tomb you've lost it too either? Your decent knowledge about how to move further in tombs? Your full confidence in what you've told her, despite you could end up roasted in the tomb or worse?"
„Okay you're right!"
„Rollan!" Gerda shouted taking the Spaniard out of his thoughts to pay attention to the girl, then she fell down on her knees as she felt yet another pain on her chest from the curse making Rollan flinch his teeth because of his distraction inside his head Gerda was closer to lose herself more to the hex.
„Gerda don't go!" Shouted Rollan get down on the ground to the girl, „Forgive me, I'm such a fool. We're all in this mess because of me. I lied to you about the wishing stone, my mama never was gone she's alive. I lied to you hoping someone could help me get powers. Perdóname,"
„How….cou….could you?" Gerda asked getting weaker, then Rollan grabbed the girl's left hand and she took them away. „You…..lied,"
„I wish I could re-do it…..argh!,"
„No…...ou…..," Gerda gasped leaning against the stand of the wishing stone, followed by Rollan, which fell down on his knees watching her breathing hard trying to fight off the Snow Queen's control which was getting more and more successful with her task, then Gerda fainted landing on the ground, followed by Rollan who now saddened by the reaction of the girl gave up in trying to fight off the fire demon's manipulation and dropped his body beside the blonde.
On the outside of the tomb on the other side of the bridge stood the entire troll army in charge and in front of them stood six troll leaders with King Arrog observing the building waiting for the eventual return of Gerda and Rollan.
Near the group stood Orm, the young troll friend of Gerda looking at the building hoping for a sign of Gerda, then he heard his name and looked back to see Gerda's young brother Kai come along with the pirate girl Alfida.
„Orm! Where's Gerda?" Asked Kai, then Orm moved his arms at the building.
„She still must be there with Rollan," Orm responded, then Alfida pointed at the tomb with a surprised face to see both leave the large door walking above the bridge with a serious face.
„Uhm why are they still like that?" Kai asked, then watched the Troll King move his head at one of his soldiers, which moved further at the bridge and met up with the two at the bridge.
„Stop right there!" Ordered the soldier making Rollan roll his eyes down at the weapon of the troll, which suddenly started a fire shrieking the soldier as he got his hands burnt on it. „Ah!"
Rollan moved his eyes at the entire army, then rolled his eyes past every man in the army putting every single pole hammer down with his fire to hurt the soldier's hands with the flames. The soldier, which was facing the two teens ran away making the Spaniard laugh and the snow-themed girl moved her hand gently forward to freeze the bottom under the soldier's legs to cause him to slip and fall down on his butt sliding over the bridge towards the King, which was shocked at Gerda's deed.
„Why would she do that?" Questioned Arrog, then from behind the army came out the Shaman pushing away the soldiers.
„Stop them before its' too late! " Shouted the troll in the blue garmant and above the sky the north star illuminated bright making the troll yelp, realizing they were late.
„You're all late," Rollan said.
„Too late!" Gerda added with a now modified voice, then both their bodies began to change drastically disappearing into an orange and a light-blue cloud making the army gasp and close their eyes due to the strong light of the clouds, soon as the fog disappeared on Gerda's place stood the Snow Queen on her feet beside a giant, stone-made monster with lava marks all over its body.
„Ahhhh!" Screamed the Shaman running away, leaving a few soldiers confused, then they looked in front at their King, which raised his fist to announce to the army to attack.
„Go!" Shouted King Arrog watching the first two rows head to the bridge to attack the giant stone monster, which moved further stamping with its claws on the ground accompanied by the Snow Queen, which walked under his body to watch the situation. The monster used his front arm to kick away a few trolls, then the Snow Queen froze the ground again to cause them to slide the bridge down again. „Team Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, stay here! The rest back to the city!" Ordered King Arrog, then watched other of the first group ran against the supervillains, then three were kicked away by the arm of the fire demon, along with two others who had gotten their legs frozen by the Snow Queen.
Orm at the sight of what was happening grabbed Kai and Alifda by their hands then ran into the city again with the two teens, which looked back at the war scenario.
„Orm, why aren't we doing something?" Asked Kai, then Alfida shook her head.
„It's impossible, we need to find another way to help. We will just get us killed," Alfida warned.
„We will hide for now until we figure out, how to help," Orm mentioned. „No one's got an idea at the moment, right?"
„You know I'm more of a pacifist, right Orm?" Asked Kai making Orm shake his head.
„Hey, I can't come up with a plan by myself either. Mostly under pressure," Orm stated, then the trio disappeared by a building and got into the house, where they encountered an adult troll female holding a cub in her hands fearing the current situation.
„Don't worry, we'll help you in case of an emergency," Alfida warned, then looked along with Orm through the window.
„This is all my fault, if I didn't leave Gerda back alone with this European jerk, we wouldn't be here,"
„It's not only your fault. I had to give away that troll legend book my mother stole for my 7th birthday. If I didn't, mom wouldn't have given him the book nor would he have shown up here in the first place,"
„I wouldn't blame you two. That's indirectly not any of your fault. I shouldn't have told him any of those myths and legends to waking his interest. He should have left in a few days if I didn't spice up some of those legends,"
„Literally lies are leading us to the end of the world again. How ironic," Alfida commented. „I couldn't even pass by mother and see her one last time,"
„I couldn't even tell Gerda, that everything I said was out of anger and not honesty," Kai mentioned. „She's the best sister I have ever had,"
„Woah!" Alfida commented as she felt the ground tremble, then Kai opened the door and shrieked as he spotted at the end of the road how fast the duo had moved forward leaving several frozen trolls back making the raven-haired boy swallow hard.
„We really need a plan B. A part of the soldiers have gotten frozen by Gerda…..I mean the Snow Queen," Kai warned.
„Haven't you find anything, that could help us?" Questioned Alfida the male troll, which shrugged his shoulders.
„What do you want me to do? Extinguish the monster?" Asked Orm making Alfida frown, then Kai had an idea and placed his hands on Orm and Alfida's shoulders.
„That's it! A way we could defeat the fire monster would be using water. Water extinguishes fire!" Kai explained earning a nod from the group.
„And where are we going to get water?" Asked the pirate girl. „The lake is frozen?,"
„We can run up to the fire station and take the water carts. If we're lucky we've got enough water to extinguish the monster. During our use we can look for a plan C and get water or anything else to use it instead," Kai suggested. „Orm you know the kingdom the best, you will take the carts and come up here. Alfida and I will move further and see, where we can help," Kai ordered earning a nod from the troll.
„Good and one of us must accompany the woman here to safety," Alfida mentioned earning a nod from Orm.
„I'll take her on the way," Orm offered helping the woman up, then ran out of the house along with her and the two humans got out on the road to look at the monster, which grabbed with his hand on a catapult and threw it against another one scaring the soldiers away and step away from the giant. The King ran against the monster along with two other trolls and got thrown away by the fire monster. Both trolls lied on their back and Arrog got up slowly and shrieked as the Snow Queen approached the King and moved her hand up to obtain her magic in her hand and threw it at the King, which closed his eyes and a soldier pushed the King away to take his place to get frozen. King Arrog got up and ran farther to his team and observed the villains come closer.
„Your majesty, We've sent Orm to get the fire carts to use water against the monster. With that we might be able to put him down with water," Kai mentioned.
„That's what we've been doing this entire time! But our weapons are proven to be useless towards him," Arrog complained seeing another catapult launch a rock against the monster, then the Snow Queen used her magic to freeze the stone and push it away from her with her magic against the catapult breaking the mechanism at the middle of the vehicle.
„I'm talking about extinguishing it with water," Kai corrected. „Just instead of a big house, it's a moving rock with four arms,"
„This is going to take a little while then. We will lose more soldiers and citizens, if we don't continue to fight them," Arrog mentioned, then Alfida pondered about the King's words and ran towards a soldier to speak to him, which nodded and yelled at the other soldiers, then Alfida returned to Kai and Arrog.
„Your majesty, we can use water from the houses here and fill bowls, buckets, and anything else with water and use it against the monster," Suggested the raven-haired girl earning a nod from the king and Alfida pulled Kai on his arm running into the house and opened the water tap, then opened under the lavatory the closer to take out a couple of bowls.
„Fill up the bowls and bring them to the catapults. I told the soldiers the same," Alfida commented earning a nod from Kai, which grabbed a second bowl and ran into a separate room, which led to the bathroom.
The soldiers followed Alfida's idea, charging the catapults with bowls and buckets filled with water to launch them against the fire monster. A couple of bowls hit the monster on the body causing minor parts of its body to turn off, causing the monster to growl loudly. The Snow Queen moved from under the monster to his front and used her power to freeze the upcoming bowls with water, which turned into ice and they crashed against the monster's body seeing it break into pieces falling down on the ground, then the soldier ran up the road as another group tried to find success in the plan, but just like before their buckets were turned into ice by the Snow Queen, which laughed seeing the despair of the soldiers.
„Is that all you got?" Asked the Snow Queen, then Alfida ran along with Kai behind the other trolls and spotted at the end of the road Orm show up along with a group of soldiers bringing the fire extinguish cart which was getting pulled by horses.
„There is Orm," Kai mentioned. „I hope he's got more success than us,"
„Yeah I hope so as well," Alfida responded heading to the carts, then got up on the cart, where Orm sat. „We've been trying to hold them back with buckets filled with water, but it didn't last long,"
„Great, we're going to give it a try now," Orm mentioned seeing a few soldiers reunite around the carriage, then one of the trolls got up on the cart and pointed at the monster.
„Hey, you three better stay back and figure out another plan to help us. You're better at it," The soldier asked watching the trio look at each other, then they got down and watched the soldiers leave with the carts.
„Water is the only thing we've got," Mentioned Kai earning a nod from Alfida.
„We would need bigger things with water to turn down the monster," Alfida mentioned.
„The rasta-troll moved out with a charge of wine out. Until we get back to him more trolls will fall," Orm mentioned.
„Which idiot would leave with tons of alcohol?" Questioned Alfida making Kai shrug his shoulders. Orm looked around as he heard a woman cry and spotted the Queen being taken by soldiers away from a locomotive made of ice, which was placed on a junction and Orm tapped on Alfida's shoulder to point at the locomotive.
„Hey that locomotive there made Gerda a couple of hours before, so we could all ride here," Orm mentioned. „We could use it for something,"
„How are we going to use it against the monster?" Kai asked. „I don't think this can extinguish it the way we want it,"
„But we could ride on it," Orm commented. „Either away or against it," Suggested Orm, then Alfida pondered about Orm's words and had an idea.
„Guys I think I have an idea, but this is kinda risky," Alfida commented earning a nod from the boys, then ran at the locomotive and climbed into it followed by the two friends. „We use this to push the monster down into the lake and we will make it to turn him off,"
„And what will be about Gerda?" Questioned Orm. „There's no way back from the curse,"
„There isn't?!" Kai asked loud, making Orm shrug his shoulders.
„The last ones, who got curse before never came back either. Rollan and Gerda are doomed, but if we don't defeat them the whole world is doomed,"
„I won't accept this as our only choice. There has to be another way," Kai bellowed making Orm shrug his shoulders.
„We're in a delicate situation to find another solution," Alfida commented. „What choice do we have?" Alfida asked watching Kai have tears in his eyes and sob.
„I can't kill Gerda," Kai croaked earning a nod from the pirate girl.
„We don't want to do that either, but…..I know Gerda would forgive you knowing you did this to save us all," Alfida cheered the boy up, which looked at the monster destroying another catapult and the Snow Queen used her powers to freeze it along with a few trolls around it, which were about to escape, but failed.
„Get out of here," Kai ordered looking at the two.
„You don't have to do this alone," Orm suggested while Alfida nodded.
„But I will. In case I fail, you two can always help the others. If we're lucky, we make it out somehow," Kai commented making Orm sigh and get out of the locomotive to meet a few other soldiers, which stood with their pole hammers, then looked at Orm, which spoke at them to look for another plan.
„Alfida come on, I want you to help on the outside," Kai begged the raven-haired girl, which shook her head.
„We're in this together and we're going to do this together. No matter if you're for it or against it," Alfida said making Kai nod.
„I wish my parents would be here, so they could see how amazing you are," Kai commented making Alfida smile a little embarrassed, then Kai placed his lips on Alfida's causing her cheeks to turn pink at the boy's sudden move. Afterward, Kai pushed Alfida out of the locomotive at the arms of a soldier, then both watched Kai drive away on the locomotive.
„I wish I could be this badass," Commented the soldier, making Alfida look confused at the troll, then she looked at two horses, which had returned with the leashes, which had got cut off from their carriage. Alfida jumped off the arms of the soldier and approached one of the horses and grabbed it on the harness, then tried to calm down the horse.
„Calm down, my boy. You're going to help me and then you can come back, okay?" Asked Alfida patting the horse on the nose.
„What are you doing?" Orm asked, then Alfida pointed at the locomotive and Orm nodded. „I'm coming with you,"
Kai drove with the tank engine against the monster, then pulled on the thread to honk catching the attention of the monster, which growled and Kai crashed against the monster pushing him on the ground towards the lake Gao. The Snow Queen growled and followed the locomotive. During the pursuit the villain flew above the locomotive and shrieked as she figured out, what the plan was of the boy in the locomotive and flew into the train, landing on the ground to find the boy Kai.
„Gerda I know that deep inside your heart, there's still yours beating. Please I beg you to listen to me. You're the best sister I have ever had. I was so stupid in telling you all those things. I was just tired of our lives...I just wanted to have a break and your interest in that Spaniard just gave me…..grrr….such a strange feeling, it's indescribable," Kai explained, then shrieked as the Snow Queen used her hand to mimic Kai, making him angry.
„You're so naive, Kai. Gerda is never coming back. After the curse took over her, her body and soul vanished. No matter, what you're going to do with me and the Fire Demon, both Gerda and Rollan are gone for good,"
„You're a monster!" Shouted Kai jumping against the Snow Queen, which grabbed the boy by his hands and smirked at the boy being half her size. „What are you waiting for? Freeze me!" Shouted Kai making the Snow Queen laugh and drop the boy on the ground.
„Kai!" Shouted a voice, then the Snow Queen looked out of the open gap to see Alfida race on a horse, while behind her sat Orm with a crossbow and an arrow, which was burning on the front. The Snow Queen shook her head, then used her powers again to freeze the ground in front of the horse, causing it to slip and fall on the side and Orm shot his arrow, which flew above the locomotive making the Snow Queen roll her eyes.
„The Princes!" Shouted one of the soldiers pointing near the bridge, where the triplets of King Arrog were trying to pull their grandmother, which was unconscious around.
„Orm, your cousins!" Shouted Alfida shrieking Orm, which tried to get up and ran forward to head to the cousins, then shrieked as he saw his grandmother there. „Grandma!" Shouted Orm getting the attention of the Snow Queen, which spotted Orm and smirked. She used her powers to create a half-pipe out of ice, shrieking Orm which slipped into it and flew back at Alfida causing her to fall down.
Kai took the opportunity to honk with the locomotive hoping to warn anyone to help the boys out.
„Help! The royal princes are in danger!" Shouted Kai and at the side, where soldiers were along with the King turning on their arrows with fire, he moved his ear as he recognized Kai's voice and saw near the bridge his son's trying to help the senior.
„Boys!" Shouted King Arrog departing from his place to follow the locomotive, which was faster than him. „Kai! Try to move the locomotive!" Ordered the King, then Kai looked into the eyes of the monster and continued to honk with the locomotive.
„I'm still finishing your life!" Shouted Kai at the stone monster.
Alfida managed to get on top of the horse along with Orm, then pursued the locomotive as fast as the horse could, getting desperate with the situation.
„We're not going to make it in time Orm," Alfida commented earning a nod from Orm.
„Boys! Just run!" Shouted Orm watching the cubs try harder to pull the grandmother away from the dead-end and Orm placed his hand in front of his face. „This is too much pressure for them, only a miracle can save them,"
„Kai! Jump out of the locomotive!" Shouted Alfida, then Kai moved to the exit and looked back at the Snow Queen, which smirked at the boy, making him angry and ran against the woman, which stepped aside, and Kai reacted, then jumped against the Snow Queen smacking her against the wall and the Snow Queen pushed the boy away from her.
„I think they started a fight in there," Orm mentioned, then Alfida moved the horse closer to the locomotive trying to keep up with the back of the vehicle. „Orm get up on the train," Commanded Alfida watching Orm jump at the wings of the locomotive and climb it up carefully. Alfida stared at the cubs on the road trying to help their granny, then she sighed as she couldn't come out with another way to help up the cubs.
„Boys, leave grandma back. Your lives are more important. Get out of there!" Warned Alfida making the cubs look tragic at each other, then Alfida felt the same and looked up at Orm, which tried to get closer to the driver cabin.
Orm reached the window at the back of the locomotive and jumped into the driver cabin and got between Kai and the Snow Queen.
„Hey! Remember me?" Questioned Orm serious making the Snow Queen chuckle.
„It's been a while, troll. I've heard about your betrayal, soon after you returned into your old life," Commented the Snow Queen, making Orm furrow his eyebrows angry.
„You won't use me again like last time, Miss," Orm assured crossing his arms, then Alfida cried louder for their names and he looked out of the door to see they were getting real close to the cubs, „Run!" Shouted Orm loud, then he heard a female voice cry and he spotted from the side Queen Maribel ran towards the cubs along with her uncle to pick up the cubs. „Watch out!" Shouted Orm, then he looked back to see Kai kick the Snow Queen against Orm, shrieking him, which jumped aside and watched the Snow Queen grab herself on the ladder of the train and watch the troll Queen hurry to bring the cubs out of there. The Snow Queen threw another ice blast against the family causing them to freeze, making Orm angry and jump at the Snow Queen making her launch another power to freeze the ground under them causing the monster to fall down and the train slip aside and push King Arrog down. He recognized his wife, which had gotten frozen by the Snow Queen, and cried in shock as they were hit.
„Maribel!" Shouted King Arrog and used his arms to bounce from the train wheels away to slide forward at his family, then wrapped his arms around his family. „I'm sorry Maribel, I failed,"
„King Arrog, watch out!" Orm shouted trying to move the hands of the Snow Queen away to avoid her freeze any more citizens. The King leaned his head on the frozen statue of his wife, then looked at the monster sliding on his butt against him and Arrog just sighed as he couldn't care less now after witnessing his family turn into ice. „Looks like it's up to us, Kai," Orm mentioned watching Kai get to the door and give Orm his hand.
„We have to get out of here" Warned Kai, then he heard someone land in the locomotive and he looked back to see Alfida approach him to see, how things were going. „Help me get Orm up," Kai asked, then Alfida got down and the Snow Queen kicked Orm between his legs causing him to yelp and fall off the train, and the Snow Queen iced Alfida shrieking Kai.
„Alfida!" Shouted Kai grabbing the girl, which slapped his hands away and got frozen, leaving Kai in despair. „No! No! No!" Shouted Kai lying his head on her chest crying. The Snow Queen threw another ice blast from the door at the troll King and looked at Kai, which was crying over Alfida.
„I loved you," Whined the boy, then saw a few troll soldiers ran against the ice block of the royal family to push them away, making the Snow Queen roll her eyes and aim another ice blast at the trolls to freeze them afterward they got hit by the rear of the monster, causing them to break in pieces and the train flew along with the monster into the frozen water and Kai looked down to see themselves fall into the frozen lake, where they saw a large, engraved heart on the surface and together they landed in the middle of it causing the entire surface to break. The Snow Queen jumped out of the open door and landed on the ice to look down at the locomotive disappear along with the fire monster. The Snow Queen smirked and used her hand to sink it inside the water to freeze the surface again. Slowly it began to build up ice over the water, she heard a familiar voice and looked behind her to see Orm coming from above the bridge with a pole hammer to smack her down, but she reacted and grabbed with her other hand the pole to freeze it, which passed over to Orm's hand but before Orm froze completely he kicked the Snow Queen on her legs, causing her to slip into the water and Orm's fall on the ground weakening the ice on their part and fell along with the villain into the water. Due to the active power of the Snow Queen's arms, she managed to freeze herself in there with her former slave and the surface stood now frozen.
Up on the edge of the ground, the senior King showed up along with soldiers and a few citizens to look down at the frozen lake, then sank their heads in sadness.
„Young Gerda lost her innocence against the curse in the wishing stone along with an adventurous tourist. They gave their best to retrieve back their powers, but these powers were stronger than them, and…..they lost their lives….Kai, Alfida. Two other humans assisted us and came up with plans to move further and despite everything went differently, than we've expected, we won. General Arrog or as we know him, King Arrog served our kingdom with kindness, honor and wisdom, just like his grandfather once wished.
