PROLOGUE: INTO THE NEW CHAOS

╚═══━━━─── • ───━━━═══╝

She died. Struck by an energy blade through her stomach.

There was a lot of blood, to the point it impossible that she might live.

Through her death, a spark triggered, culminating the whole city into chaos.

Just for the siblings to escape successfully.

...and you know what, she's satisfied. She believed that the Executioners couldn't reach them anymore, with too much trouble she gave them, not to mention Courier delivering them to that unspoken utopia.

That's why she died with a contenting smile. Akudama or not, she have done a deed for the sake of the sibling.

...

...

...

...and now she wondered where she was.

The last thing she remembered was being pinned by an energy blade as she lose her consciousness. Hastily, she checked her stomach but found out nothing. No wounds or blood to be seen.

"W-where am I?" She looked around, to only saw white. Everything was white. Is she dead, or alive? Is this heaven? No one knows.

"Yo! Swindler, right?" She immediately turned to see a man... no, an entity sitting lazily on a white throne of some sort. Whatever the entity was, it was entirely made of universe, or more like its body was made as a container of universe. It was slouching like douchebag.

She couldn't guess where she tried to look at, but at the same time, remained calm.

"W-who are you? How do you know my name?" It might sound stupid, but she was attached to that identity, to the point she react instinctively whenever someone tries to confirm her name.

"Me? Just some lesser god nothing inconspicuous ... by the way, I'm a huge fan!"

"Wait... I have a fan?" She was more confused than ever. "What did I do to have a fan?"

"Really? Are you that oblivious? Surely, you do remember how your death screwed up those executioners?"

Her eyes suddenly widened in realization. "The kids! Brother and Sister! Are they safe?"

The entity just waved her off. "You should be more concerned about yourself... You are really altruistic, isn't it?" Then the entity just chuckled. "That's why I like you a lot."

Then suddenly a screen appeared by the side of entity, showing a scene of Brother and Sister living in some kind of an abandoned house. They might be alone but from the look of their face, they are happy and content living away from the city, away from their awful destiny.

She could only watch them in satisfaction, as if peace bloomed in her heart. Eventually, she calmed down.

"Hmmm... aren't you suspicious? What if I made this up? What if they are in a different setting... perhaps worse than death." He teased her.

"D-Don't you dare say that, Entity-san!" She scolded the entity like it was nothing. "Besides... I don't know why but I trust you for some reason." She added confusingly and hesitatingly. It is true; although she might be Swindler, she's also easily trusting to strangers, crazy right?

Immediately, the screen disappeared after done with its duty. "Yatta! I have earned the trust from the greatest Akudama!"

"I am not..." She attempted to deny the claims but she found out it might be useless in front of an entity. "Maybe, I am indeed an Akudama." She murmured.

"The greatest Akudama, Swindler, who stole the heart of the mass!" The entity just cheered on her, throwing up its arm in exhilaration.

"So Entity-san, am I dead?" She asked.

"Yes you are, dear. If what I have said earlier fell onto deaf ears, then I don't know what it called."

"I see." She looked down the white floor.

Then she thought for a moment. "Do you know what happened to Courier after successfully delivering the Siblings?"

"Don't know, beats me." The entity shrugged. "But we know that you know what happened to him."

She gasped for a moment, then just bit her lips in frustration. "So he's dead then." She stated as if it was a matter-of-fact.

"Just to make sure that things are clear... no, I don't have their souls or where they ended up. Even I suspect that they might have defied coming into the afterlife since they are insanely Akudama... but once again, its just a speculation."

She was about to cry when the entity stopped her.

"H-hey, no depression in my room!"

"Ugh!? S-sorry!" She apologized as she was surprised by the entity interference as she wiped her tears away.

"You are supposed to be on your way to the safe departure of afterlife too...but I luckily managed to nabbed your soul right away."

"Eh? Why did you do that?" She was curious.

"Just like what I said, I'm a huge fan of yours - and no, not to the point of Cutthroat's obsession. I'm just a regular fan, that's all." The entity explained while showing off merchandises around him pertaining to Swindler. It frankly denied its similar situation with the Cutthroat while playing with an action figure suspiciously similar Swindler.

Swindler was just as confuse as heck, her eyes darting to most of the merchandise before the the entity made them disappear before she could identify all of the item. The entity doesn't want to make her disgust to itself.

"That's-I don't know what to say." She could only scratch her head in confusion.

"Ah, just forget it... I take you for because of a sole reason."

"What reason?"

"I want to give you a second chance."

"R-really." She beamed.

"But not back from your world though."

She whined a little but she accepted the conditions. At least, an entity, albeit a suspicious one, was giving her a chance at a second life.

"Instead, I will let you choose what new world you will live in." the entity said as it showed off colorful globes that surrounded them.

She watched as the globes circled her around and she observe them with scrutiny. They are indeed colorful as what the entity suggested but nevertheless, that's it. They were numbered up to ten and each of them were unique at their own designs.

"So how can I determine that whatever i chose is really worth it."

"Every world is worthy of your presence, my dear. You only need to point one that seemed to be your liking."

"Ok." She said before she hastily point out one of them. That globe slowly floated between the entity and her, while the rest disappeared on the whim.

"I do note that although that they are vastly different from your world... it could be either better or worse than what you have experience before. So no regrets, right?"

"I understand." She has already steadied her resolve.

Then the entity looked into the world she has chosen and sneered, if ever it has a mouth or eyes.

"Interesting." Then the entity shifted its attention toward her, who was busy observing the globe with interest too. "Just one tip for this world..."

"Oh...?"

"This amusing world has something called of a running theme, or whatever they call it... just like your world have an Akudama."

She just nodded as she listened.

"If you hear the word 'Akudama', ordinary people will be thrilled or scared upon hearing that word, right?"

She paused for a moment before giving the entity a nod.

"Well, they have a word or a phenomenon that was pretty damn big deal... and it's called 'quirk'"

"'Quirk'?"

"Mutant powers? You know having amazing and extraordinary abilities?" The entity explained.

"Oohh! Interesting." She was now damned curious and excited... although she has plans to live in ordinary setting if she can. She thought that the globe she has chosen was the one that is simple and ordinary as heck, but too bad.

"So that's all... I just can't let you spoil the rest." The entity said before reaching out toward her. She only looked at the universe-contained hand as it waited for her her hand.

"C'mon, shake this entity's hand and have a wonderful life."

"Uhm, one question, Entity-san." She must make sure.

"Go on. I have an eternity for this take."

"Assuming that I didn't want to chose the second chance option, what would happen to me."

"Simple. You'll end up in the afterlife...boring afterlife." The entity stated.

"I-I see, that must be terrible..." She sweat dropped.

"Very!" The entity exclaimed.

Seeing that the entity doesn't want her to be wasted in the afterlife obviously and that she have an inkling feeling of wanted to be alive once more, then this is considered a win-win. She breathed deeply.

"Entity-san, thank you for giving me second chance." She said as she was about to reach for the entity's hand.

The entity just grinned. "No problemo, just make sure to entertain me once more."

The entity immediately grasped her hand moderately. "Eh? What did you say?"

"Good luck on your journey, Swindler!"

Then all was pitch black.

AN: So here we go, a crossover fanfic. Akudama Drive got me, especially that grand ending... it was easier to write a fanfic that can be easily connected to ending because it was so damn inconspicuous. Spoilers Ahead, we don't know whether the Brother and Sister ended up in the safe place or not, or if the city managed to resolve the uprising or not.

Long story short, I was inspired to write it on the whim. Also, Akudama Drive crossover archive is lacking content.
