Owl Buddy: nice!!
Owl Buddy: hey, you got a dorm yet?? you can stay with me and my roommates! :D
Mr. Coffin: are you sure...? I don't want to take up space...
Owl Buddy: LOL we have an extra room, if you don't take it Naib might snag it for extra fridges! we need you, 'sop!
Aesop smiled as he turned off his phone and tucked it gently into his pocket.
Eli - "Owl Buddy" - was his friend from high school, however since he's two years older he left for college earlier. The two have stayed in touch online ever since.
Today was the last day to move into a dorm before classes would start.
'yo,' a man from behind Aesop said, making the shy man flinch. 'you're Aesop, yeah? Eli told us about you. follow me.' the man took Aesop's luggage and led him down the dorm hallway.
Eli had mentioned names of his roommates, but never shown pictures...
'um... are you Mr. Subedar..?' Aesop's voice was barely audible.
'jeez, you sound like a damn teacher... but yeah, I'm Naib.' Naib seemed to be hotheaded, yet in a way chill.
once Naib opened the door, Eli sprung out and hugged his friend. 'Aesooop~ I missed you!'
Aesop hesitantly hugged back, Naib rolling his eyes and he plopped Aesop's belongings off in the empty room.
'what's your schedule look like?' Eli asked, leaning over to lay his head on Aesop's shoulder.
Aesop took out his timetable, showing his major with the teacher's name and class... blurred.
'aw, rats!' Eli sighed, 'Norton, Naib, know anyone in Mrs. Mary's class?'
Norton shrugged, looking down at Naib, 'you, Babe?'
Naib shrugged as well, barely listening as he's punching away at his video game. 'nah, don't care much for art.'
Eli looked back at Aesop, a somber look on his face. 'dont worry Aesop, we can-!'
'it's fine,' Aesop slipped his schedule back into his pocket, leaning back against the couch. 'I'll... figure something out.'
