Hello this is SpiceyFez and welcome to The Devils Luck a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Seraph of the End crossover. This fanfic has been in the works since 2019 as an on & off passion project. Writing has never been my forte so bear with me. Special Thanks to RadicalRtatan and The Crusader for forcing me to finally make the prologue. |Prologue|

Sanguinem, Lower Levels

I was walking across a bridge lost in thought wondering how I was going to feed my family when suddenly a large force pushes her off her feet and on to the ground. When I look I see a vampire staring down at me with the most aggravated expression I have seen from a vampire. He had long light blue hair that draped over his shoulder. His pink eyes were staring right through me as if I wasn't there or like I was an insect that wasn't worth his time. Before I could apologize he grabbed me by the throat and hoisted me up into the air.

"You dare touch Lord Dio! You insignificant gutter rat! I'll kill you!" The vampire practically screams at me. I felt his grip tighten around my neck making it impossible to breath. The Vampire raises his other hand and looks to be getting ready to lob my head off my shoulders. I'm sorry Mika, Yu, everybody guess you will be making your own meals from now on. Just as I close my eyes to brace for the pain it never comes. I open one eye and notice another hand has grabbed the vampires right hand. "Calm yourself, Vanilla Ice this human was merely minding her own business no need to make a scene." a blonde vampire spoke from behind the light blue haired vampire whos name I am assuming is Vanilla Ice. Weird name but who am I to judge.

Vanilla Ice releases his grip on my neck and I drop to the stone floor. I look up to see a second vampire with piecing red eyes and long blonde hair. "Human, what is your name." he asks. I feel compelled to answer his question. Rubbing my soar neck I stand up. "Akane. Akane Hyakuya." I said. The vampire seemed to ponder something for a second. While he was pondering i looked at Vanilla Ice who still seemed to be seething with rage. Then when i look back too the blonde vampire he had outstretched his hand to mine "Dio. Dio Brando and you have already meet Vanilla Ice. Please excuse him he unnecessary protective of me." Dio said. When I grabbed his hand to shake it a sharp cold surged through my body and I shivered. A pain in my right earlobe was also noticeable.

Afterwards he seemed to brush by me with Vanilla Ice quickly following suit. Guess I have a story to tell to Mika and Yu when I get home. I then continue on my path towards our house where my family was waiting for me.

Sanguinem, Hyakuya Orphans Residence

"What!" Yu yelled Mika tried to calm him down after telling them about my encounter with the vampires. "Did he hurt you?" Mika asked with a concerned look "No, but he was pretty scary." I said. "I'll kill them!" Yu yelled Mika and I sighed. I could hear the whining of the younger orphans coming from the other room. So, I began to make some stew for the family. The ingredients were easy to come by thanks to Mika's deal with Ferid Bathory. I shudder to think what he does to Mika during there visits. I served the food and we all ate together. After cleaning up i decided to go to bed after tucking the younger ones in.

After making a meal I decide its time for me to go to bed. I have dreams of those pricing red eyes and the ever present cold. Then I see myself but something is different I am paler and there are now three moles on my earlobe. Then I see Dio come into view he bites down on his lip and pours his blood into a vile and hands it to me. "Drink it." he demands. Then the cold gets stronger i start feeling numb and then...

I awake in a cold sweat to hear a commotion going on downstairs. I groggily get out of bed and climb down the ladder to the dinning room. I see Mika holding a gun and a map on a table I ask what are they doing. Then Mika turns to me and says "Wake everyone up. Were going to escape from this world!" I was dazed could we? If we were caught we were likely to be killed. I sharply breathed in and decided to try it.

Sanguinem, Upper Level

After waking everyone up we made our way up to the gates of Sanguinem unimpeded. Then we heard his voice "I have been waiting for you my poor little lambs." said Ferid Bathory. Mika panics and looks down at the map as a gust of wind flashes by all of us. I turn to see Ferid drinking the blood of one of my fellow orphans then he drops to the floor dead. Yu screams and fires the gun a Ferid who effortlessly doges the bullet. Ferid begins to taunt us "That map is real but will you find the strength to make it past me. I wouldn't dare follow you if you got outside." he smirks. "Everybody run!" Yu screams firing his gun into the air. I start running I hear the screams of my family but I keep running until i am the only one left running then I hear him. "I want to see your faces twist in despair!" Ferid cackles. "Akane!" I hear Yu scream. I turn to see a hand rushing towards me.

Cold... Cold is all i feel as Ferid slashes his hand across my neck. I feel heavier as I drop to the floor. The world grows dark and cold. Is this how I die?

Do you wish to die?

A voice rings in my head as I barely try to stay conscious. There is so much blood. I don't want to die.

Easy there is nothing to be afraid of...

I hear a gunshot ring out and another body hitting the floor. I cannot see who it was but i hope Yu and Mika got out ok. I could die happy knowing they escaped this hell.
