It was another day at the Autobot base. Starscream had joined the Autobots having turned over a new leaf after coming out of his coma.
Knock Out had made up with the seeker and talked him into joining the Autobots. But Arcee still wasn't getting along with Starscream and was mad at Knock Out for getting the seeker to join them.
She had just been trying to avoid the two of them. While Starscream had been trying to apologize for killing Cliffjumper Arcee wouldn't accept it though.
And Knock Out felt bad for the seeker knowing he now truly regretted what he had done. So he went to talk to Arcee about it.
"Arcee Starscream is sorry about killing Cliffjumper and I know your still angry and part of you will probably always be but he's changed for the better and you need to start trying to work with him since we're all part of the same team now." Knock Out tried to reason with her.
"As far as I concerned we're not." Arcee growled at him. "And I wish I never have to see either of you again." She said before storming off.
"Well that went well." Thought Knock Out knowing he wouldn't be getting through to Arcee anytime soon.
Later they were called on a mission and Arcee inwardly cringed when she was paired with Knock Out for it.
The two of them had to fly a ship to the Jungle Planet. But when they were over the planet they suddenly ran out of fual and had to make an emergency crash landing.
Ratchet had tried to call before communications went down all they made out was something about the vehicons accidentally putting the fuel in the wrong ship. And to make matters worse now they wouldn't even be able to get the lactation of the ship to send them a space bridge.
So Knock Out and Arcee were stranded on the Jungle Planet. Fortunately the crash landing wasn't a bad one and nither of them had been hurt.
"Are you OK?" Knock Out asked Arcee who just ignored him still not happy with the red medic. Then Arcee started walking off into the jungle.
"Don't you think we should stay put and wait for a search party?" Asked Knock Out. The fact that he was getting frustrated with the silent treatment evident in his voice.
"You can stay if you want too but I'm going to find energon or at least a spot with a good com-link signal." "And getting as far away from you as possible." But she didn't say the last part out loud.
Then much to her annoyance Knock Out followed her. Because he knew this was a dangerous planet and didn't want her going off by herself and not wanting to be left alone for that matter.
"Arcee watch out!" He suddenly cried when he spotted a Razorsnake with it fangs bore about to strike the two wheeler from a tree branch.
Knock Out rush forward and swiped it away only for it to start to strike at him but he quickly finished it off with his saw.
"I could have handled it!" Arcee growled at him. "And I don't need you to follow me!"
"Well your welcome." Knock Out deadpaned as she stormed off and he was forced to hurry to keep up with her.
After a few minutes of walking Arcee noticed that Knock Out was moving slower then normal and was struggling to keep up with her more than he should be. And he acted tired and seemed to zone out every few minutes.
Starting to feel concerned she started to ask him what was wrong as they entered a clearing.
When suddenly an insecticon showed up and started attacking them. They were both fighting it.
But Arcee noticed Knock Out was having trouble. He kept staggering and acting sick and like he couldn't focus. And the insecticon was taking full advantage of this.
It ended up tossing Knock Out into some rocks then start to move in for the kill when Arcee started shooting at it with her blasters.
She noticed Knock Out attempting to pull himself up but he kept rubbing one of his servo over his helm as if he were a human having a headache.
Suddenly the insecticon started getting the upper hand and Knock Out seeing that Arcee was in trouble forced himself to his peds and rush at the insecticon with his saw.
Only to suddenly stagger as his vision started to blur. Before the insecticon grabbed his leg and slammed him hard onto his back.
Now Knock Out just laid there and Arcee couldn't tell if the red sports car was dead or alive. Then she saw the insecticon start towards the downed Austin Martin.
She fired her blasters at it which got it's attention then she got the insecticon to chase her hoping to lead it away from Knock Out.
After driving through the Jungle at top speed she finally managed to lose it. But had to find her way back to the clearing having gotten lost.
She had to find her way back worried about Knock Out he had saved and tried to help her to spite the way she had been treating him. And now if he wasn't ok she would never forgive herself.
Arcee was carefully driving around looking for the clearing where she'd left Knock Out. When she suddenly heard a low moan and rushed to it's source until she came back to the clearing.
And found Knock Out who was being attacked by scraplets. He had woken up after she left and was weakly trying to swaght them away but looked to weak and sick to move.
Arcee wasted no time chasing them off killing most of them while only one or two flew away.
After they were gone she rush over to Knock Out who was leaking energon in places. "Thanks for the save." He said then coughed.
"Anytime and you saved me too by helping with that insecticon." Arcee told him. Then noticed two deep fang marks on the servo he had used to swipe the Razorsnake away from her earlier.
"The Razorsnake it bite you didn't it." Arcee said upon seeing the marks. "Why did you use your sevo and not your drill?"
"I didn't think I just did." Knock Out weakly explained. And Arcee could tell he was really sick from the cybervenom and that if he didn't get help soon he might not make it.
And on top of the cybervenom the insecticon and scraplets hadn't done him much good either. He was leaking a good amount of energon and Arcee couldn't tell if it had been caused by the insecticon attack or when the scraplets had just tried to eat him alive.
Then Knock Out tried to get up only to slump back down.
"No just rest you need to save your strength." Arcee told him seeing how weak he currently was.
"You have to leave me and look for away to get back to cybertron." Knock Out said to her. And she didn't like how weak and out of it he sounded or how dull and tired his optics looked.
"It's pretty obvious I won't make it..." He trailed off.
"Not gonna happen and you have to stay alert!" Arcee half ordered half begged him afraid that if he went unconscious he might not wake up again.
Arcee spent the whole night by Knock Out's side to make sure nothing else tried to attack the red medic. But was worried as his condition continued to worsen.
Then Knock Out went unconscious and Arcee started desperately trying to wake him but he stayed unresponsive.
When suddenly the insecticon come back and broght friends because there were four of them now.
Arcee got her blasters ready and stood over Knock Out ready to defend him. When suddenly Starscream's jet mode fly over to them blasting at the insecticons with his missiles.
The Autobots had found their location and not a moment to soon.
"Go there's a space bridge just opene on the other side of those trees!" Starscream told them. "I'll hold them off."
Then Bulkhead carried Knock Out through the space bridge and to the medbay where Ratchet have him an antidote for the cybervenom and tended to his injuries.
But before going through the space bridge Arcee saw Starscream get shot down and the insecticons closing in on the seeker before the space bridge closed do to a malfunction.
"No we have to go back!" Arcee yelled knowing Starscream was out numbered and in trouble. He wouldn't be able to handle those insecticons by himself it was four against one and for all they knew there could be a whole hive in that jungle.
Then they got it open and Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead and Wheeljack ran through to look for the seeker who had crashed somewhere in the jungle.
Arcee stayed outside the medbay worried about Knock Out who was still being work on and Starscream who was missing. And ended up spending the night there.
The next day the Wreckers came back with Starscream who they had fortunately found unharmed other then a few dents that Ratchet quickly repaired.
And Knock Out was also going to be fine after some rest because they had gotten to him in time.
And Arcee made up with both of them and welcomed them to the team and told Starscream she forgave him for Cliffjumper knowing that her partner would have done the same.
Just then a scraplet ran into the medbay jumping up and down like a lapdog and did three backflips with it's optics crossed and then took off out the window.
"Did you give me any other medication with that antidote?" Knock Out asked Ratchet who shook his helm.
"You guys saw the scraplet too right?" Asked Starscream.
"Yes." They all replied.
"Good I'm not losing it." He smiled.
"GET THIS BLASTED THING OUT OF MY FOUSION CANNON!!!" They all heard Megatron yell from the street.
And Soundwave was trying to use his tentacle to grabbed the scraplet that had climbed into Megatron's fuoisin cannon only to not be able to because the former Decepticon Leader wouldn't hold still.
Then the scraplet jumped out and ran down the street of Iacon with both mechs after it.
"That scraplet snuck in through the space bridge yesterday and consumed a whole box of circuit speeders that made it hyperactive." Wheeljack explain.
Then everyone laughed especially when they saw Starscream useing a camera to film Megatron and Soundwave's embarrassing situation with the scraplet.
