Hi everyone, so this is going to be a series of first between Dom and Letty. I'm also thinking about doing a story based around Dom's time in Lompoc, or one where they're in high school or one where they're adapting to life with Brian (Marcos) Please let me know which ones you want to read!

First Time Meeting:

The first time Dom and Letty met it was raining so heavy you could barely see a foot in front you. Dom was driving home from the garage and saw Letty sitting on her doorstep. He slowly pulled the car to a holt as he thought about his next steps. Yes, this dark-haired Latin beauty was technically a stranger, but he had seen her around school several times and he knew his sister Mia, was slowly working her way under the mystery girls' skin and becoming friends.

Plus, he couldn't bear the thought of her been stuck outside in this monsoon. Shaking his head, he climbed out of the car and jogged over to where Letty was sat on the doorstep holding very soggy books above her head trying to keep dry. She looked sad and lost and although he didn't know much about her, he felt like he wouldn't be able to ever forget this woman in front of him.

"Hey, I'm Dom. You know my sister Mia, right?" He began, starling Letty slightly.

"Yeah, she's in pretty much all my classes except shop."

"Come on, she's home and no doubt needs company, and you need somewhere dry until your folks come back."

She mumbled something that sounded like if they come back, which hit Dom hard. He offered her his hand and pulled her up, not letting go until she was climbing inside his charger that desperately needed a coat of paint.

"Why did you stop for me?" Her voice was quiet, almost withdrawn.

"Cause contrary to what the rumours around school are, I'm not that heartless."

Letty simply nodded letting him focus on the road. When he pulled up, she climbed out of the car fast, worried about dampening all of the interior seat with how much her hair was dripping. He took her hand once more and lead her inside the house.

"Mia?" He called.

"Jeez, it's about time you got home. I thought you'd been in a crash…" Mia trailed off as she took in Letty's damp appearance. "Shit Letty, you're soaked!"

"I invited her over, she was locked out." Dom lied easily. Although she was locked out, he suspected it was more because her mother had gone to get high again. He'd heard their neighbours complaining about the Ortiz's.

"Come on you can shower upstairs and get warm; I'll find you some dry clothes. Dom can you put the pasta on? Dad called he said he was on his way home."

Dom nodded and headed into the kitchen after watching the girls head upstairs. When they came back down, he noticed Letty in a pair of Mia's more edgier jeans with rips all down the legs and one of his white wife beater shirts. He had to take a double take when he saw her in his clothes. A sight he didn't realise he was enjoying until Mia hit him in the chest and glared at him.

The trio were all sat around the table waiting for Tony to come home before eating. Once he entered the house, he noticed the additional member sat at the table.

"I could have sworn when I left the house this morning, I only had two children."

"Dad this is Letty. She was locked out in the rain, so I invited her over." Dom replied.

Tony lifted his eyebrow at his son before stripping his jacket and sitting across from Letty and next to Dom.

"I'm Tony, it's nice to meet you."

"Thank you for having me over. I'm sure my Mom will be home soon."

"It's no problem, you can stay as long as you need."

Letty stopped speaking and just nodded focusing her attention on her empty plate. Her head snapped up at Dom's baritone voice as he said grace. This is what a family should be like, Letty thought, angry that she didn't have that.

As the evening rolled on Letty got ready to leave, not wanting to overstay her welcome.

"Dom, walk Letty home for me." Tony commanded as he watched her pull her shoes on.

"I'll wash your clothes and bring them over tomorrow" Mia said smiling at Letty.

Dom stopped outside of Letty's house and smiled down at her.

"If you ever need a place to go just come to our house or give me a call."

"You don't even know me Dom."

"Ah, but I will when you give me a call. Better yet, want a lift to school? I'm taking Mia in anyway."

"Ugh sure." Letty shrugged, a bit apprehensive at the seventeen-year-old in front of her, although she was only a year behind him, he seemed to have a lot more control over his life.

"Great. Eight fifteen work for you?"

"Yeah. I'll see you then."
