"Move Winchesters!"

The voice echoed like a raging thunderstorm as Lucifer appeared in the main room of the bunker, coated in now drying blood and tightly keeping a hold of Sophie who was shaking severely in his arms.

"What the hell?" What Did you do to her?!"

Dean was the first one who stood up and aimed his weapon at lucifer instinctively reacting to the situation at hand; Sam also had his weapon pointed at the devil; he was surprised to see lucifer but more surprised to see Sophie in his arms.

Sophie and her 'Hunting boys' as she affectionately calls them, were her friends since she was a young girl, the relationship she had with the brothers was a bonded one; there was no living –or dead- thing that could change that.

"I didn't do anything! You two were the selfish dicks who let her go on a hunt without checking how bad it was, she was fighting thirteen angels. Do you both realize how much danger you have put her in!" The archangel barked at the brothers before leaving with Sophie in hopes to find her room, Both Sam and Dean following just to make sure nothing bad happened.

Upon finding Sophie's room and with her permission Lucifer entered and placed her onto the bed; the young woman was semi-conscious but aware of what was around her. Sophie was in a dreadful state, she had numerous bruises, some were as dark as the night sky, scattered across her body, and a sharp blade embedded deep into her stomach.

Lucifer kneeled by the bed stroking Sophie's cheek before he spoke to her...

"Okay Sweetheart look; I have to take this thing out as it does not let me heal you, Okay? You must be strong just for five minutes, five minutes and I can heal you properly. Five minutes and you can scream. Okay?"

Sophie's Honey infused eyes scanned his red eyes and, with whatever energy she had left, nodded her consent. Through her blurred vision, she could make out the faint silhouettes of Sam and Dean and another silhouette of the newly arrived Castiel. They were all worried about Sophie, but they were wary given who was in the room with her.

"Alright, I am going to do this as fast as I can," Lucifer whispered to Sophie.

Sophie's eyes changed color as she tried to keep calm; in a single moment Lucifer managed to extract the blade that was in her stomach, the pain however had caused Sophie to sit up in place. Slowly, tears were falling from her eyes as the pain became unbearable. As soon as the blade was out Sophie managed to lie back down and Lucifer placed his hand on the injury and his arm went around her back, it was to stop Sophie from falling off the bed and hurting herself more. Lucifer gently rested his head against Sophie's, whispering sweet nothings and comforting words to the young woman telling her how brave she was and that the pain was going to fade soon.

With a soft flash, Sophie's eyes changed colors again and her white wings unfurled...

Even with the injury healed tears still fell from her eyes; whatever the angels had placed onto the blade it was lingering in her body causing her more distress. So, in a single, gentle move, Lucifer took Sophie into his arms and sat on her bed, once he was sitting on the bed, he placed her on his lap, and, being mindful of her wings, he gently rocked her in his arms.

"Why is she still in pain?" a highly worried Sam had asked as a painful look of hurt flashed across his face, He was feeling guilty that he and his brother did not check the hunt she went on if they did, she might not be like this.

"The angels have used a special poison, more than likely they were trying to kill Lucifer with it. Sophie must have gotten in the way but she is strong she will survive." Castiel answered.

Lucifer chose to ignore both Sam and Castiel as he felt Sophie move and she leaned up to whisper a 'Thank you' before she relaxed and succumbed to a much-needed and restful sleep.

"Go Now, I will look after her," Lucifer spoke highly tempted to use his powers to send the younger Winchester and one of his younger siblings out of the room to give them some peace. "If anything happens to her, I will let you know."

"No," Dean spoke from the door pissed at what was going on.

"Dean," Castiel spoke interrupting him, the last need anyone needed was another fight between the devil and the hunter, and given Sophie's current situation it would be nice for the pair not to fight.

"No Cas," Dean started again getting irritated from the interruption "What if he hurts her?"

"I don't think he will," Castiel responded as he glanced to the two in the room "He did save her after all."

Dean could not believe what had Castiel had said and turned to his brother looking for some help.

"Fine." Sam replied taking the hint from his brother dean before glaring at Lucifer "If you do something to her, we will find a way to torture and kill you for real." The threat hung in the air, but Sam noticed the way Lucifer was holding Sophie.

He knew she was safe with him and he was not going to hurt her.

He was hopeful on that…

As soon as Castiel had convinced Dean to go get some sleep he followed and left the room. Sam spared a glance to the pair before leaving himself and closing the door behind him. Once the door was closed Lucifer placed a kiss on top of Sophie's head before speaking to the empty room.

"Why would I want to hurt my soulmate?"
