Chapter 1: Celebrating Mizuiro Kojima's Birthday
Mizuiro had woken up to his phone going off many times.
He grabbed it as he read many "Happy Birthday" messages from his friends.
Mizuiro smiled as he replied back to his friends saying "Thank You!" With a smiley emoji at the end of the text.
Ichigo then texted his friend.
"Hey man, happy birthday. Are you doing anything today?" Ichigo asked.
"Nothing really. I mean I was going to the mall today to clear my mind, so that's all I guess." Mizuiro texted back.
"Well, meet us at the park. We got something to show you." Ichigo said.
"Sure thing. Be there in a jiffy." Mizuiro replied back to his friend as he got out of bed and headed to the restroom to get dressed and washed up.
When Mizuiro got done, he locked his dorm room and headed down to the lobby to go outside.
He walked to a vending machine to get some soda and candy and he walked to the park.
Mizuiro saw that there were a few people there and balloons.
"Hmm? Seems like a party is happening huh?" Mizuiro said to himself.
Keigo walked up behind Mizuiro as he covered his eyes.
"No peeking now.~ Here put this on." Keigo said as he covered Mizuiro's eyes with a blindfold.
"Ahh, I see.~ You want to surprise me with a little event full of hot girls, is that it~?" Mizuiro asked.
Keigo chuckled. "Maybe.~ Maybe not.~ But it's even better."
When the two arrived at the small party, Keigo took off the blindfold off Mizuiro's eyes.
Everyone shouted out: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIZURIO!"
Mizuiro stepped back as he chuckled.
"Wow you guys rock! Thanks so much." Mizuiro said.
"You're so welcome! We hope you enjoyed it." Orihime said.
"Thank you. Wow the cupcakes look really good." Mizuiro said.
Ichigo looked up as he saw the sky opening. He smiled as a Soul Reaper came out and landed down getting into his gigai.
He walked up to his friends and waved at them.
"What's up? Did I miss anything?" Izaya asked.
"Nope, we just wished him a happy birthday. That's all." Ichigo replied.
Keigo walked up to Izaya as he hugged him.
"Hey babe, how is everything?" Keigo asked Izaya.
"Swell. I'm glad to see you, and get to hang out with you.~" Izaya said.
Keigo giggled as the two shared a kiss.
Mizuiro came up to his friends offering them a cupcake.
"Here you go, you two lovebirds." Mizuiro said.
"Thank you. You know I'm very good at planning parties." Izaya said.
"Really? Didn't know the soul society was even into parties." Ichigo said as he took a bite out of his cupcake.
"They are. In fact, we're having a party for a former captain this weekend. All we have to do is surprise them. They'll be thrilled." Izaya said.
"Interesting. Well I hope they'll enjoy their birthday then." Ichigo said.
"Hey you guys, so since it's my birthday I was wondering do y'all want to hang out with me. We can go shopping and probably see a movie." Mizuiro said.
"Sure I'm down." Ichigo said.
"I'm off today so I'm interested!" Orihime said also.
"Count me in." Chizuru also said.
"I can only shop for a few hours. I have work today." Tatsuki said.
"Babe, are you interested?" Keigo asked Izaya.
"Sure. I'm not doing much today. Got all of my work done." Izaya said.
"Then it's settled. Let's go." Mizuiro said.
Everyone put down the balloons and Orihime saved the cupcakes.
Izaya looked over and saw a man with long light blue hair walking up his way.
"Yo. Any cupcakes left for me~?" Grimmjow asked.
"Here you go love. Just a few left." Ichigo said as he handed his lover Grimmjow a cupcake.
Grimmjow grinned as he took it and took a bite.
"Ohh, so this is your man.~ Wow he is good looking. You got a great prize there, Ichigo.~" Izaya said.
"Thanks. You and Keigo are a cute couple too.~" Ichigo replied.
Keigo smiled at his friend as he held onto Izaya's hand.
Everyone then left the park as they were on their way to the mall and the movies.
"Happy birthday, Mizuiro." Said his friends.
"Thanks again, guys." Mizuiro said as he smiled at them.
