Chapter one first meeting: Edward and Bella are one and a half
Esme POV
"Carlisle hurry up Renee and Bella will be here any second," I said
"coming," said Carlisle. I saw him as he carefully walked down the stairs with Edward in his arms. As soon as Edward saw me he started reaching for me. I walked to the stairs and picked Edwards up and kissed his nose. He squealed in excitement like always does he is a mama's boy. Edward was really the cutest baby in the world. I headed over to the couch and sat down. Being pregnant meant my feet always hurt,I was pregnant with twins. I was so excited for Edward to meet Bella. He didn't have a lot of other babies to hang out with and with the twins coming I didn't want him to get sad or lonely.
"wrong" Edward asked. He was asking if something was wrong.
"No Eddie, nothing is wrong, I was just thinking," I said. I kissed him on the cheek and he laughed."He likes you so much more than me," Carlisle said. "No daddy," said Edward. Edward could say some words but I think his favorite is no. Then there was a knock on the door. He was trying to tell Carlisle that he didnt love me more."I'll open it," I said. "No, I will get it," Carlisle said. I guess he knew I didn't really want to get up. Carlisle led Renee and Bella into the room. Bella was in Renee's arms. The moment she saw Edward she smiled and started reaching for him it was the cutest thing. "It is so good to see you and this must be Edward," said Renee. "That must be Bella," I said. "Yeah, why don't we put them on the ground so that they can play?" Renee said."Yeah," I said. Putting him on the ground, Renee put her on the ground. They instantly crawled towards each other and Bella reached out for his bronze hair. She lightly pulled on his hair. Edward laughed and reached out for her hair. They both squealed in excitement as they fell back. It was the cutest thing ever. Renee, Carlisle and me just watched in awe of how cute it was. "Aww they're the cutest babies in the baby " Renee said. "Yeah they are" said Carlisle with a smile on his face. He really did believe it was the cutest thing ever. Bella had big chocolate brown eyes, raven black hair and her skin was really pale but not in an unhealthy way she was a beautiful baby. Her raven black hair was long for a baby. Edward and her were still laughing as they looked at each other. I don't know what they thought was funny but something was funny to them. "Edward is a really pretty baby," said renee. "So is Bella," I said, smiling at renee. "Yeah she is. She looks a lot like my grandma did when she was a baby" Renee said. "Pretty hair" said Bella smiling. She still had his hair in her hand."He does have pretty hair and so do you" I said. She smiled at me and crawled to me. "Thank you," she said but she messed up the words a bit. I always thought how baby talked was the cutest thing ever. "can I pick you up"I asked bella. "sure" bella said. I looked at Rene and she nodded so I picked her up. Rene asked Edward if she could pick him up and he said yes. she looked at me I nodded. bella really was a pretty baby I had a feeling that bella and edward are going to be best friends.
