Neos: Lost In Darkness
It was a cloudy night at Hero City. Up on the skyscrapers there was a muscular man in all white watching over the city. The man had a blue gem on his chest and a smaller yellow gem on the cressed horn of his head. Parts of his arms, legs, and chest had streaks of blue and red. He looked kinda of majestic up there close to the dark sky with his glowing blue eyes.
He heard flapping behind him, it was like giant bird wings but he knew who it was. He knew it was his green friend and second in cammand Avian.
"Neos, what are you doing here? we're all waiting at the base for you for the-" Avian stop speaking as he landed on the skyscraper next to his long time friend.
"Neos is something wrong?" Avian new something was up with his leader, he could feel it in his gut.
Neos kept looking at the sparkling lights of the city he protects everyday. "Avian, I try doing my best to keep everyone safe and show people that there is good in the world... I even try to show kindness to the villains we face...".
Avian was mentally staggered right now. He'd never seen this side of Neos before and Neos was usually the one giving everyone around him hope.
"Sir, what's making you feel down?" Avian asked worriedly as he steps closer to his friend.
"Those anti-heroes... or i guess they're calling themselves Destiny Heroes now... Some people like what they do... The Destiny Heroes may stop foes but they kill them in the process... People look up to heroes, children look up to heroes... If they look up to killers like Diamond dude and Plasma... I mean..." Neos stood up from the ledge of a skyscraper.
Avian thinks he knows what Neos is getting at but he waits to see what Neos says next.
"Avian, what gives heroes the right to kill... Me, you, Burstinatrix, and everyone else on our team of the Elemetal Heroes want to inspire others to help those in need... People are now saying that what our team does isn't enough... are we suppose to show that execution is good?" Neos questioned Avian and himself.
Avian got closer to the ledge with Neos. "Neos... I don't believe that we should be executioner... I think people are just scared and can't think straight... Plus you are the the symbol of hope and justice... You saved the planet, even the whole universe a few times..." Avian said while trying to cheer up his leader.
"I don't think i can think straight right now" Neos said grimmly as he started floating in the sky.
"Neos, where are you going?" Avian asked while watching him drifted away in the nightsky.
"I got a lot on my mind Avian... you are in charge while i'm gone" Neos said right before blitzed through the atmosphere and flies outside the galaxy in mere seconds.
Avian gazes at the stars more bothered then ever. He understands the pressure of what society can do to some people. Avian also hopes that Neos will come back soon, he the thinks world needs him more than ever now.
soon Neos was gliding through the cosmos and he was astray talking to himself. "Is my ambitions of wanting to do good for not enough for the people of today... do I need to surpass myself in a way... to show that there still is good in the world?"
Neos began tensing up as he started to fly faster. Going beyond the speed of light and accidentally transcending the boundaries of space and time.
"I think... i need... to slow down..." Neos stated to himself. He forced himself to stop and ended up in a place of total obscurity. An infinte void of shadows all around him, Neos couldn't see a thing in what ever realm this is.
"Well... this place sure is darker than Dark City" Neos said while he floated around the shady void.
Suddenly a piercing screech echoed throughout the eternal void and a fiery glow appeared then slowly came closer towards Neos.
The glow came from a red serpent like creature that gave off a blazing arua. The monsters arua was so powerful that it started thrusting Neos further into darkness.
"Who are you... and where am I?" Neos asked as he struggles to fight through the winged serpent's inferno arua.
"I'm that old serpent of searing flames... I am Uria... and there is much more darkness below..." Uria said ominously.
