A/N: This is a possible future scenario for The Heirs to the Demon written by ssjmrxi. This is something that's always been in the back of my head and I a, just now getting around to it. I have gotten permission to write this from the author themself. I don't own the original story nor do I own The Arrow.
Thea Queen was really excited. It had been nearly six months since Oliver had revealed himself to her and she, along with Shado and Sara, had finally gotten her brother and his wife to officially reveal themselves to her mother and the other two lances. Thea knew her mother had gotten curious as to who she had been hanging out with recently as she had stayed over with Aaliyah at their base after an intense training session. She and Aaliyah had gotten really close during their training sessions and she couldn't be happier.
She could feel herself getting stronger from those long sessions and her mother and Tommy had both noticed this. After deciding how Oliver and Nyssa were going to introduce themselves, Thea along with Shado and Sara had convinced everyone to have dinner together at the Queen's mansion. She told her mother that she had invited her new best friend and her family to come as well so everyone could meet them.
The time had come for the dinner party and everyone arrived on time. Once Tommy got to the table, he noticed three extra places for people to sit. "Hey Thea, why are there three extra places?" Tommy asked as Laurel and Quentin walked in followed by Sara and Shado.
"Oh that's for the family of my new best friend." Thea said with a big smile on her face. Everyone smiled at her expression, happy that she was getting better after the news that her brother wasn't coming back. "They might be a little late cause her parents had to work late today." Thea said as they all nodded. Everyone then sat down leaving three places next to Thea as she had requested.
The two families were talking about their week while Tommy was smiling, happy to be with his only remaining family when the lights suddenly went out. Everyone was looking around when Quentin saw two tall figures and one shorter one appear behind Tommy, Thea, and Moira. He quickly went to pull his gun when he noticed how many weapons they had on them and pointed it at the taller figures before a knife was thrown from one of the taller figures and was pinned to the wall behind him.
Everyone turned to where the knife had come from when Moira, Tommy, Laurel and Quentin froze as Thea got up and hugged the smaller figure while laughing. The four of them let out gasps as the three people let down their hoods and spotted the male. "Hey everyone. It's been a while hasn't it and sorry about the gun Mr. Lance, I don't take kindly to threats on my wife." Oliver says as he reveals himself to the surprise of those not in the know.
There were many emotions running through the four that were surprised by the reveal. Quentin was shocked by the fact that the knife that had hit his gun was thrown by none other than playboy Oliver Queen. That shock quickly turned to anger as he realized that this was the man who had ruined his family.
Laurel Lance had other thoughts running through her head. Once Sara and Shado had explained what happened to Oliver to her, she stopped feeling angry about him and mourned his death while moving on. She was shocked when she recognized Oliver being alive. That quickly turned to curiosity when his words registered in her mind and she turned towards the woman on Oliver right. Laurel had to admit she was jealous of the woman's good looks even if she didn't like Oliver any more.
Tommy Merlyn was shocked at seeing his best friend alive. He studied Oliver and saw all of the weapons on him and grew curious on whether or not he could use them. Tommy looked at the person who Oliver called his wife and could see himself getting jealous if he didn't already have Laurel.
When Moira pulled back from her hug with Oliver, she was happy that he had returned but was wondering where she had seen them before. She flinched as she realized the outfits they were wearing were the same as the ones who had tortured Oliver and was about to speak up when the older women spoke. "Beloved, we only have a few hours before we have to be back home. Father said he had another mission for us when we return." The woman said, as everyone looked at her.
"Why don't we all sit down and I can introduce everyone to these two lovely women on either side of me." Oliver said as everyone sat down in their seats. "The woman at my right is my wife Nyssa Al-Ghul and the young lady at my left is Aaliyah Al-Ghul, our adopted daughter. Nyssa's sister couldn't make it unfortunately as she had other things to take care of in Russia. Do you guys have any questions?" Oliver asked. Laurel got up, walked around the table and socked Oliver in the jaw.
"The hell have you been eating, that really hurt. That was for cheating on me with my sister. How could you marry someone like him knowing his past." Laurel said while holding her hand as she moved back to her seat. Nyssa frowned before coming to the defense of her beloved.
"Oliver definitely deserved that or you would've been on the ground for attacking my husband. As for how I can call him my beloved, he's saved my life quite a few times and he has promised me to never turn his back on me." Nyssa with a smile towards Oliver. They leaned in and gave each other a kiss as Quentin raised an eyebrow.
"And you would believe this son of a bitch to not cheat on you?" Quentin asked her.
"I trust him with my life. Why would I not trust him in our relationship? Besides, even if he did cheat on me he would be in big trouble and the person he did it with would disappear." Nyssa with a stern look towards Oliver. He just grinned and kissed her again.
"I would never cheat on Nyssa. I've changed from the playboy you knew me as. I've had to do things that you wouldn't believe me capable of doing Mr. Lance. I believe it changed me for the better though." Oliver said as he went back to eating.
"Why are you wearing the same thing as your kidnappers? They put an arrow in your shoulder!" Moira yelled as Quentin, Laurel, and Tommy looked at her in shock. Oliver winced before speaking.
"I'm sorry you had to see that. The other two were my wife and Aaliyah. That was the last resort to finding out what was going on. Neither I, nor Nyssa wanted to do it but we didn't have any other option. If it makes you feel any better it didn't actually hurt me and we healed it right after using water from our Lazarus pit." Nyssa grabbed Oliver's hand to comfort him as
"As in Lazarus from the bible? The one that was resurrected by God?" Laurel asked, confused.
"Yes the water has healing properties that can heal people from the brink of death. Our pit was a gift from my father for our wedding. We rarely use it unless it's necessary as scars remind us of our mistakes and push us to get better." Nyssa said.
"Do you know who was killed next to Oliver's and Robert's grave?" Quentin asked the pair. He had his suspicions that they knew what happened due to their skill and their outfits.
"Yes they were the last remaining members of a Mexican gang that we destroyed a year back. They wanted revenge and somehow tracked us to that location." Nyssa said as Quentin had another question.
"You guys are assassins, why would you kill a group that could potentially hire you? That seems like bad business." Quentin said.
"We only kill the corrupt, we never go after innocent people. That is our way of life and we make our money in various other ways, some legal, some not." Oliver said in a serious tone.
After that question, everyone asked the three various other questions that pertain to the life of an assassin. They answered all the questions they were allowed to while avoiding the ones they shouldn't answer. Once Oliver, Nyssa, and Aliyah were done with dinner Oliver spoke up. "Unfortunately, we have to leave now. We have a plane back to Nanda Parbat in a couple of hours and we need to get our stuff ready to leave." Thea rushed to Oliver and hugged him.
"You will promise to visit regularly won't you. Now that you have revealed yourself as alive you can't just disappear again." Thea said.
"Of course Thea. Nyssa and I will visit more often, but we still have to be careful when we come. I still don't want the general populace to know that I am still alive. That would ruin what anonymity my death brought me. Maybe next time we can introduce everyone to Talia." Oliver promised before releasing the hug.
"You better not cheat on Nyssa. This dinner has shown me how much you two love each other and I am happy for you two. Don't make the same mistakes you did with me." Laurel said before hugging both Nyssa and Oliver. Laurel had come to realize that Oliver had changed a lot in the past few years and had decided to let go of her past hate for him.
"You take care of yourself. I don't like your methods, but I can't deny that you have a lot more reach than I do and have seen more things. My daughter has changed my perspective on going outside the law and I realize that it has to be done sometimes." Quentin said as he shook Oliver's hand.
Tommy then went up to Oliver and gave him a hug. "I know that it was you two that killed my father." Tommy whispered into Oliver's ear. Oliver tensed before Tommy continued, "I don't blame you because I found out what my father was planning after his death. If anything, it has made me more aware of how life is and made me a better person." Tommy stepped back and smiled at Oliver before taking Laurel's hand.
After everyone else got in there hugs, Moira stepped up and hugged her son. "I'm sorry for all the pain I put you and Thea through. I never meant to give either of you pain." Moira said as she cried into his chest.
"I forgave you a long time ago. I still love you but you need to change how treat Thea and I. We have to go now. I'll see you guys later." Oliver said as he, Nyssa, and Aaliyah stepped back from the rest of the gathered people. Oliver took something out of one of his pockets and threw it on the ground. A cloud of smoke appeared once the object hit the ground and everyone started coughing. Once the smoke cleared, the three were gone from the mansion.
"I don't know about anyone else, but that is damn awesome. I wish I knew how to do that." Tommy said in amazement and everyone chuckled at him.
Oliver, Nyssa, and Aaliyah made it back to the base and both Nyssa and Aaliyah hugged Oliver. "I'm happy for you beloved. The reunion went better than both of us thought." Nyssa said as she kissed him.
"I know I'm happy that everyone liked me and Thea is a great friend." Aaliyah said. The three of them got ready to go back to Nanda Parbat as they chatted happily about the dinner and the future.
A/N: After writing this, I realized that I never really included Shado and Sara within the conversation. That was never the point of this to begin with. I only wanted to focus on how I thought those not in the know would react to Oliver being an Assassin. I hope everyone liked my take on it and I really recommend reading the story that this is based off of. It's one of my all time favorite Olyssa stories.
