I know this kinda this fanfiction came out of the blue but I thought there should be more Black Hawk Down Fanfictions. This is mainly an honerary fanfiction because MSG Gary Ivan Gordon and SFC Randy Shughart are some of my hero's they made the ultimate sacrifice, they went into combat knowning they would die but they still didn't bat an eye to that fact...However...what if...that could've been prevented...by some certain Huntresses and Huntsmen in training?
This Fanfiction takes place about Volume 3 in RWBY right before the Vaisel Fight Festival.
For people who haven't seen RWBY ill give you some info.
Ruby Rose: a silver eyed 15 year old girl who's training to be a Huntress at Beacon, she wields a Scythe-Sniper Combo weapon named "Crescent Rose". She is also the leader of team RWBY. Her Semblance is a Speed based one called "Petal Burst" which allows her to speed up and even to split into multiple parts.
Weiss Schnee: A White Haired, Blue eyed 17 year old heiress from a pestigous family who left to become a huntress to spite her father, she wields a revolving dust rapier known as "Myrtenaster". She has the Semblance of Glyphs.
Blake Belladonna: A Black Hair, Ambered eyed cat faunus from the Island of Menagerie. This former White Fang member joined Beacon to help the faunus as a huntress. She wields a Katana, Pistol, Chain Scythe combo Weapon known as "Gambits Shroud." She has the Semblance of Shadow.
Yang Xiao Long: Ruby's blond half-sister who went to beacon to become a huntress as well. She wields Shotgun-Gauntlets named "Ember Celica." She has an unnamed semblanced that allows her to take damage and power herself up.
Ruby skips runs through the halls before crashing into the dorms.
"HEY GUYS!" cheers Ruby, as the rest of Team RWBY jump from the sudden intrusion.
"Goodness Ruby, have your parents ever told you about knocking?" scolds Weiss, pointing at Ruby.
"But guyssss..." moans Ruby before her eyes sparkle.
"WE FOUND A NEW TYPE OF DUST!" Screams Ruby happily.
"Say what?!" says Yang with a smile.
"are...you sure?" question Blake.
"Really now...that might be interesting." says Weiss thinking
"Yeah come on guys!" says Ruby before vanishing in Rose Petals.
The Rest of Team RWBY straps on their weapons before following the trail of red rose petals.
-Later in a lab-
Ruby and her team look at this strange orange dust crystal.
"um...should we try it?" asks Yang.
"That sounds Grand!" says Pyrrha as Jaune holds up the crystal before putting it down.
"Of course not!" shouts Weiss, "We don't know what this thing can do!"
"I don't know, it can't be that bad...it's just dust.." says Blake looking at the crystal with curiousty.
"She has a point.." says Ren.
"LETS DO IT!" cheers Nora.
Before Weiss could protest Ruby had already loaded the crystal into her Crescent Rose.
"Ready?!"
"Wait Ruby-" says Weiss as Ruby shoots the dust crystal.
Suddenly everything goes white for RWBY and JNPR.
-Void Realm-
Ruby groans as she sits up from a laying poistion, she locates Crescent Rose as she picks it up and hugs it.
Then the rest wake up.
"You idiots!" screeches Weiss at Ruby.
"Sorry Weiss..." says Ruby, rubbing Crescent Rose.
"Out of everything I was prepared for...this...wasn't one of them."
"Well where are we anyway?" asks Yang.
"Well we're not dead, or our weapons wouldn't be here." says Blake holding up Gambits Shroud.
"Your right, you are not dead...you are inbetween worlds..." says a voice from everywhere.
"Who are you?" asks Pyrrha.
"I am a god, that is all you need to know...I have a perposition for you all." says God.
"What is it God of the castle?" asks Nora.
"Uh, you guys like helping people right?"
"DO WE?!" shouts Ruby happily.
"Good, you see there is this other world thats about to have a terrible tragdey occcur...I want you to help."
"Ok!" "We'll do what we can mister God sir!" says Ruby.
"I thank you Ms. Rose." says god.
"Wait Ruby, we don't know this world...we should.." says Weiss again before another white flash occurs.
-Mogadishu, Somlia, 1993.-
Team RWBY and JNPR look around at what seems like some sort of old raggy market.
"Really Ruby?" deadpans Weiss at Ruby who giggles while shrugging.
Suddenly Team RWBY and Team JNPR hear a "Whuing" sound that seems to be getting louder.
"What in the world might that be?" says Weiss looking up to see several "Little Bird" and "Black Hawk" helicopters as people in strange armor who also seem to have guns slide down ropes and get off landing helicopters.
"What type of bullheads are those?" asks Yang confusedly, but Ruby isn't paying attention to that...she's mostly paying attention to the large variety of weapons the armored men have.
"OOHHH!" "THOSE ARE SO COOL!" says Ruby drooling at the weapons.
"Careful sis we don't know if their good or not." says Yang holding Ruby's cloak stopping her from running.
"aw..." says Ruby pouting.
Suddenly a lot of gun fire suddenly burst to life.
"Oh right just one more thing..." says God.
"Those uniformed people are the good guys...sorry about not telling you." says god before his voice fades again.
"Come on!" "We need to help those people!" says Ruby rushing off.
"Lets do this!" says Yang activating Ember Celica.
"why do I have to put up with you guys?" sighs Weiss unbuckling Myrtenaster and running off after them.
"Let's break their legs!" says Nora taking her war hammer and following them.
"Lets follow them Pyrrha!" says Jaune as Pyrrha nods.
"Got it!" pulling out her short sword and shield.
- With the U.S. Rangers-
"Now their shooting at us!" yells a man with machine gun as he blasts the enemy militia-men.
More Army Ranger pour into the streets as machine guns on top of improvised fighting vechiles with .50 cals shoot at them.
however as losses mount, suddenly a red blur of what seems to be rose petals flare by suddenly a girl about 15 years years ol who has black lands on top of the truck.
"There's a civilian!" says a Ranger as they stand in horror, what was she doing she was going to be shot.
Suddenly the Girl pulls out a red sniper rifle and shoots the man in the head killing him instantly.
"SHE'S ARMED!" says another marine pointing their guns at the mysterious girl who seems to be frozen in what seems to be shock.
-with Ruby-
Ruby couldn't stop trembling looking at the blood on her hands, he...died...she killed someone. They didn't have any aura, but why?
Suddenly Ruby hears clicking behind her as she turns to see the Rangers pointing their rifles at her.
"Wait, I'm here to he-" says Ruby waving her hands.
"THROW DOWN YOUR WEAPON!" commands one of the rangers.
"But shes my baby..." says Ruby cuddling her weapon before the Ranger start firing her.
Ruby dodges the first couple of bullets before deciding to intimidate them into listening.
She clicks Crescent Rose unveiling it full Scythe mode which immediatly takes the Rangers by Suprise.
"What the fuck is that?!" swears a Ranger looking at the massive Scythe.
"Look, I'm only here to help you...I'm on your side!" says Ruby before she heres a noise and turns around to see a man with a rocket launcher pointing it at her.
