Nico sat in the strawberry fields picking some strawberries. Will's birthday was the next day and he wanted to make a strawberry cake for him. Or at least get one of the kids from the Hestia cabin to make it for him because if Nico tried to bake something would explode. A group of demigods came through the barrier. Percy, Annabeth, and a new girl with raven black hair and sea-green eyes who looked about Nico's age.
Percy was grinning from ear to ear. "Nico, I have a sister! Meet Pearl, daughter of Poseidon."
The son of Hades stared. He never thought he'd love another child of the sea god again, but she was beautiful.
She smiled at him and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you Nico. Son of Hades, I guess?"
"What gave it away?" he stammered.
"Well, you're wearing a skull shirt." Pearl said. "But besides that nothing really strikes me as deathly. You look great." She glanced at the strawberries in his hand. "Do you like strawberries?"
"Oh," Nico looked down. "They're for my boyfriend. It's his birthday tomorrow."
Pearl grinned. "Will Solace? Percy told me about you two. That's so sweet of you!"
Annabeth took Pearl's hand. "Hey, we should introduce you to Chiron. Then Percy and I can show you around camp."
"Ok," Pearl turned back to Nico. "It was nice to meet you, Nico. I'd be happy to help you bake something with the strawberries!" Nico stared after the daughter of Poseidon as she walked away. What will I tell Will? He wondered.
