Ch 1

Noah gritted his teeth behind the oxygen mask, as his radar and AWACs were alerting him of unknown contacts heading towards him. There were about 5 of them, maybe more.

"Attention unknown aircraft. This is captain Cody of the Empire. You are harboring fugitives." the lead pilot of the tie formation said.

Ah, so that's what this was about. He remembered about the 'Erusean Roswell' that happened months ago. While many thought that it was proof that life existed outside their solar system, others said otherwise. But Noah tossed all those theories out the window and decided to wait for whatever would happen next. And it seemed his patience was paying off.

"My name is Noah of the Erusean air-force. My country is forming an alliance with these people, and we're supporting their rebellion." Noah proudly declared over the comms.

"Surrender, Noah. You're outnumbered and outgunned." Cody said.

"Death to the empire." Noah growled, firing his long range missiles. The tie pilots were caught off guard as three long range missiles tore into their formation, killing three pilots in one strike.

"Who the hell is this?" one of the imps asked.

"Don't know, but we're taking him out." Cody said, pressing forward to engage. Unfortunately, their lone adversary proved to be more than a match for them, as Noah quickly closed the envelope and locked onto one of the large fighters.

One pull of the trigger was all he needed, as heat seeking missiles tore into the back of the cockpit and blew the fighter to hell.

"You think for being an interstellar empire they'd make better starfighters for their pilots. Guess not." the Erusean ace said, as he engaged in a turning fight with another tie fighter. The larger and unwieldy fighter couldn't keep in the turning fight against the experienced foe, and Noah was quick to capitalize on it.

The remaining tie's broke formation upon seeing their leader's demise and fled from the seemingly unstoppable ace. But it didn't matter. Noah felled as many of the tie fighters before he ran out of ammo.

"AWACs, i'm winchester on ammo. Bring in the rest of Yellow squadron to mop up the enemy fighters." Noah said.

"Copy that. Squadron is inbound in 3 minutes."

Ascending to a higher altitude, Noah looked down from his aircraft as his squadron flew in to finish off the rest of the imperial fighters. While his squadron was celebrating their victory, Noah could only look up at the sky with a worried look. Would more come tomorrow?
