Dream(Clay) Karl Tommy Fundy and Ranboo have been infected with the mask makers curse. Meaning, they have no free will. They have a mask on their faces that is what causes them to be controlled. The mask maker is the one who controls them. While being controlled they can still see but can't do anything of their own will.
