Paildramon vs Diaboromon
ExVeemon – Goku
Stingmon – Vegeta
Diaboromon – Janemba
Paildramon – Gogeta
Angemon – Pikkon
The day had been pretty hectic for the two Digimon ExVeemon and Stingmon. One was participating in a tournament of Other World's greatest Digimon while the other was spending his days in limbo. But suddenly, a chaotic Digimon who was calling himself Diaboromon appeared and was messing with all of creation; forming barriers around different dimensions, breaking the barrier between the living and the dead and warping much of reality. ExVeemon tried his hand in fighting him, but didn't fair too well when Diaboromon transformed into his current form. When Stingmon tried fighting him, he didn't fair much better than ExVeemon had. After some convincing from ExVeemon, Stingmon had agreed to perform fusion with the Dragon Digimon. After learning the technique, they had performed it, with some disastrous results.
Now the two were on the run after having been a failed fusion. They had barely managed to make it out of the way of one of Diaboromon's attacks. Stingmon looked to ExVeemon and angrily said, "ExVeemon, your Fusion Technique almost got us both killed! Are you out of your mind?"
"Hey, sorry. I didn't know." ExVeemon apologized, not knowing what exactly happened. He tried to think of what happened, "Something must have gone wrong!"
"ExVeemon!" Jijimon's voice echoed in their minds as they flew. He quickly said, "The two of you weren't perfectly symmetrical! Stingmon's hand wasn't in the proper position!"
"Oh!" ExVeemon said as he realized what had happened, "So it wasn't the technique, it was the execution."
When they landed on a cliff surrounded by red water bubbles, ExVeemon had a grin while Stingmon was seething and the former said, "Watch those fingers! The index finger has to be fully stretched."
"You mean to tell me that we turned into that blimp because I bent one lousy finger?!" Stingmon angrily questioned and turned to the Dragon Digimon. ExVeemon then said, "Hey, don't worry! Let's give it one more shot while we still can."
"Fine." Stingmon grumbled. The Bug Digimon and the Dragon Digimon moved into the same position as before; with their knees bent and their arms stretched out in opposite directions. The two moved closer together while moving their arms up like an arch. When they were but a few inches from each other, ExVeemon and Stingmon both moved their arms opposite again, only this time turning their clawed hands into fists while also pointing their knee towards the other. But just as they were about to commence with the final step, a shout came from above, "Web Wrecker!"
An orb of red energy came flying at them. They were able to fly out of the way just before it hit and impacted the ground. A giant explosion rocked the ground just when the two landed. ExVeemon looked up into the sky and warned, "Stingmon watch out!"
Diaboromon was flying right at them with an orb of energy in his hand. The two allies were worried for a moment. But before Diaboromon could throw it, kick to the back of his head disoriented him. Both Stingmon and ExVeemon were surprised to see someone else fighting against Diaboromon. When the new comer landed in front of Diaboromon as he fell, ExVeemon recognized him, "Angemon?"
"Never mind the formalities! Time's wasting!" Angemon said to the two. He urged them to get a move on, "I'll hold him off! Go for it!"
"Awesome, Angemon!" ExVeemon said with a grin. But he got serious when he looked to Stingmon, "This is it, Stingmon." With a gesture of his head, "Come on."
ExVeemon took off into the sky and Stingmon started to follow. But he cast one glance to Angemon and Diaboromon before taking off as well. Diaboromon started to give chase when Angemon moved in front of him. The Mutant Digimon stopped and Angemon lowered his arms. With a grin a plan formed in the Angel Digimon's mind as he deduced, "You're part of that insidious barrier, aren't you?" Angemon became serious when he figured, "Which means you must have the same weakness."
Diaboromon was moving around a little before giving out a holler. The Mutant Digimon leapt at Angemon. Deciding to put his theory to the test, Angemon shouted, "Disgusting freak!"
Diaboromon came right at Angemon when suddenly his body started cracking and pieces fell from his body. Moving out of the way of the Mutant Digimon, Angemon raised a fist and fired multiple, "Hand of Fate!"
The blasts nailed Diaboromon and caused a major explosion in the area. Elsewhere, ExVeemon and Stingmon prepared themselves again. They started moving in sync once more as they said, "Fu-"
Back between Angemon and Diaboromon, the Mutant Digimon came at the Angel Digimon again before disappearing from sight. ExVeemon and Stingmon were moving in the final part of the technique, "Sion!"
Angemon backed up while staying alert. But he didn't notice Diaboromon reappearing behind him, ready to attack. ExVeemon and Stingmon's fingers touched correctly and the two disappeared with a flash, "Ha!"
Diaboromon smashed his fists against Angemon's head and the Angel Digimon cried out in pain. Diaboromon laughed as he raised his fists a little and caused more pain to the Angel Digimon. The flash of light from where ExVeemon and Stingmon were intensified. The light stole Diaboromon's attention was stolen by the bright light to his right. The Mutant Digimon released his hold on the Angel Digimon and Angemon fell to the ground.
The bright glow from the fusion intensified once again before it faded and revealed a new Digimon. This Digimon had the body of a Dragon Digimon while wearing the exoskeleton of a Bug Digimon. His face was concealed by a black helmet with a crest around his eyes. On his back rested two pairs of wings, the upper wings from ExVeemon and the lower was from Stingmon. Attached to his hips were a pair of cannons. And around the Digimon, a golden fiery aura burned.
Angemon was able to look in the Fusion's direction with an impressed look. Shakily rising on his hands he said, "Wow! Incredible!"
But he wasn't able to stay conscious for long and fell on his face. The Fusion Digimon looked to Diaboromon and said in a unity of the two's voices, "I am not ExVeemon or Stingmon! I am Paildramon! It's over Diaboromon! I've come for you!"
Diaboromon did look a little nervous because of the Fusion Digimon standing before him and took a step back from the Bug Dragon Digimon's stern gaze. But he was quick to change his mood by letting out a holler and allowing his power to flare up. The wind from the flare shifted the air around the Mutant Digimon. But Paildramon wasn't fazed by the display and said, "Every force you create has an echo. Your own bad energy will be your undoing."
The air around Paildramon shifted as he prepared to attack. Diaboromon sensed the change and looked to the Fusion Digimon again. Paildramon hardly moved his body as he went on the attack. Coming with a multiple jabs while using his Sting Strike attack. The blows left multiple craters on the Mutant Digimon's body as Paildramon appeared behind him. With a yell, Paildramon quickly turned and landed his knee against Diaboromon's neck. Diaboromon cringed from the blow and was knocked back. But before the Mutant Digimon could retaliate, Paildramon landed another against the back of Diaboromon's neck.
Diaboromon turned around just as Paildramon flipped through the air and came back with a kick to Diaboromon's face. The Mutant Digimon fell away from the Fusion Digimon and Paildramon followed up with a round from his Desperado Blaster. The rounds sent Diaboromon stumbling back. Paildramon landed a few yards away from Diaboromon as the Mutant Digimon was able to stop himself from falling over. Diaboromon became confused when the Fusion Digimon raised his left hand up into the air. Paildramon turned to face Diaboromon and prepared one final attack. Diaboromon prepared himself for whatever the Fusion Digimon had, but became shocked when Paildramon gathered a great deal of energy for a Stardust Breaker attack. An orb of many colors appeared over Paildramon's hand before shrinking down. Paildramon then clutched it into his fist and held it there. Diaboromon was scared, but gave a holler as he launched himself at Paildramon. With a small throw, Paildramon sent the attack flying at Diaboromon who attempted to power through it. It landed against Diaboromon's skin as he launched his fist in a Cable Crusher attack. The fist landed against Paildramon's face, but it didn't faze the Fusion Digimon.
Diaboromon glared at the Fusion Digimon before feeling something happening in his body. The Mutant Digimon's eyes started pix-elating and Diaboromon gave a cry as his data was being purged from the Stardust Breaker attack. His back erupted as the corrupted data continued being purified. Stardust flew from Diaboromon as his data was being rewritten and his body started disappearing. Soon, Diaboromon completely faded from existence before the data particles reformed back into what was before Diaboromon came into the universe; a young Impmon.
The Impmon had his head hanging, as if what had transpired hardly happened. But when he noticed who was standing in front of him, the Impmon looked up into the not amused look on Paildramon's face. Becoming nervous, the Impmon turned tail and ran away in fright as one last data particle raced to catch up. Paildramon kept his gaze before it softened and let loose a chuckle.

Author's Note: This actually fun to write, even if it was short. But doing this just made sense to me. I do plan to do a few others, but not for a while. I look forward to reading your reviews.
