Under a cloudy full moon shine on a building before an explosion burst from the third story we see three figure's running and taking cover from strange mask men firing at them.
?: "We have to get out of here dana they're not messing around!" said a young man wearing a purple dress shirt under a black vest and black pants as well as wearing a black fedora with a purple band he looks young as he looks either 15 or 16 years old, over his shoulder he was carrying a young man the same age as him wearing what looks like a hospital gown.
Dana?: "Stop freaking out and keep a cool head about you kid otherwise you'll always stay half boiled for this job. We already got what we came for but they won't stop so you better get the kid to safety do I make myself clear?" said a stoic and grizzled man in a white detective outfit with a cool demeanor that just scream hard boiled detective, before the young apprentice could reply the old man pulled out a strange device and placing it by his midsection where its revealed to be a belt of some kind before he stood out of cover holding up a USB like device and with a simple push the device announce SKULL before he spoke one word amid the flying bullets flying past him "HENSHIN!".
(Metropolis America, 1 year later.)
In a office we see young man turn his chair before noticing the audience " Oh. Hello, Metropolis. I'm Lex Luthor." before getting up he is a young bald Caucasian male wearing a purple shirt under a green sweater vest and blue jeans held by a leather belt before walking with the camera following him to reveal a row of VR goggles "When I first started Lexcorp, I didn't set out to create an international corporate empire that would make me the youngest mega-billionaire in the world. I did it for you." before walking off screen to transition to a child and dog wearing the goggles "Our researchers continue to make breakthroughs in everything from virtual reality" as he pass by while petting the dog " to the genetically-enhanced turkey on your Thanksgiving table."
to walking up to an old lady setting up table with said turkey before winking at the camera with a ding sound effect "But even though we're the most powerful corporation in the world, you can purchase our products knowing that deep down, Lexcorp is a family company. Isn't that right, Lena?" after he walked off to transition to the next scene he finished his speech before pulling a little girl wearing a school uniform with a white short sleeve shirt a purple vest with a yellow school crest and green skirt, who is Lena, Lex's sister and unlike her brother she has long blond hair tied in a ponytail by a pretty green bow, seeing her scowl causes Lex to give her a stern look before she smiled a wide twinkling smile while Lex returned to smile as the camera moves up revealing the Lex Corps logo accompanied by the company jingle. Lexcorp cares
before it was changed to a news broadcast about a new vigilante fighting a tentacle monster " As has become all too clear in recent months, despite having the likes of Superman looking out for her citizens, Metropolis is still in need of further super help. This was the scene this morning in Midtown, where a small glimmer of hope may finally have arrived. And now we're left with the question everyone is asking, "Who is this Wonder Woman?""
as we see in this on a tablet held by a girl in a purple bat hoodie with two yellow line on her sleeves and dark purple shorts with thigh high yellow, purple and white sock in yellow sneakers. sitting crossed legs beside her bag in a driving car with ginger red hair spilling from her hoodie.
?: "Barbara, did you hear me?" getting her attention than pulling her hoodie back to show her bright green eyes and her hair in pony tail. before we see her dad a old man wearing a short sleeve polo shirt and wearing thick glasses he's also has white hair in a neat cut and a well groomed mustache. "You know your homeroom number, right?"
Barbara(lets call her Babs for convenience sake)"*sigh* Yes" she replied like most teenage girls who was moving from one place to another could muster before pulling her hoodie back on before going back to her tablet to read the news(or something idk.)"Aw, come on, pumpkin-pants. I know it's tough starting a new school, but I'm sure you'll fit right in." her dad said trying to motivate her on her new life. " Dad! You're making me move in the middle of high school." didn't work. she complained while getting to the front of the car to complained about her situation. "I loved Gotham City. And I was right on the verge of finally, finally, finally finding my te—Uh, my group." (nice save as I type sarcastically)" Your, uh... Your group? "her dad replied confused by the modern lingo these kids used. " Yeah, you know. My pack. My crew. My tribe. My—" "Oh. Your, uh, clique. Your clique." her dad finally getting her issue.
As her dad seem satisfied by his answer Babs slunk back before grabbing her bag "My team." she said under her breath feeling like she lost a friend she just made.
Bab's dad: "Here it is. Metropolis High. Beautiful." as they drove as Babs got out of the car her dad try to reassure her "Don't worry, pumpkin-pants, you'll find a new clique." before driving off before she took a step she sees two boys talking one wearing purple and black with a fedora and the other wearing a long green sleeveless coat over a long white and yellow stripe shirt that has holes for his thumb to poke through and and knee high brown pants and boots and they seem to be arguing about something?(lets listen and for convenience I'll be using the boys name for this interaction)
Shoutarou: "Iika? no matter what don't use the GAIA Library for every little thing, even if your curious because honestly it's a pain to hear you asking questions while I was in the toilet." he said sternly to his partner as he was tired of Phillip randomly using their telepathic link because Phillip stumble on to things he found interesting but as for the person in question he simply replied with a unenthusiastic "mmn." "KI KE YO MOU!" (well that was fun lets get back to our adorkable cutie shall we)
Babs: "Huh" well that was interesting before she could ponder more she heard another voice complaining "I'm just saying I don't know why I'm being punished for something I didn't do." she saw a blond girl in a blue shirt and jacket with brown leg torn pants held by a belt with a shield symbol on her buckle she was arguing with a smiling brunette woman done in a bun wearing a purple sweater and glasses (purple seem to be a popular color?)who seem to take blonde girls rebellion in stride "And we hear you saying you "didn't do it," Kara. Let's reframe our thinking." getting a tired groan from Kara "Maybe a new school is less a punishment and more an adventure"
before her husband a man with dark brown hair and beard also wearing glasses but unlike his wife with purple rim his is brown and wearing a blue sweater. "One that could help you be the best Kara you can be. And as your legal guardians, it's our responsibility to help you on your journey to impulse control." he said in support of his wife's idea for helping Kara with her anger... which ironically just made her angry because she slammed the door to the point the car tilted with a dent before rolling back on its wheels and the guardians poked out nonplussed by the whole thing they even say goodbye. wife "Have a great first day." husband " Or don't. Whatever's right for you."
As Babs looks confused the bus stopped by to unload their victi-*ahem* students before a small African American girl wearing a brown and yellow striped sweater, yellow skirt, black leggings and brown boots with cotton puffs on top, her hair is brown done up into two puffy afro out of the bus dropping all her tools? panicking she tries to gather them quickly before anyone notice "Hi, my name's Babs." too late. " "(I think she said something?) " I'm new here. It's my first day. Have you been going here long? What's it like? Huh?" she asked her twenty question before she grabbed a strange glove which was snagged back by the bee themed girl (seriously give her an antenna than she's golden.) with a quick " Thank you. Bye." she ran off hoping she doesn't trip again.
Babs: "Bye?" she can't help but say before "Bye, Daddy." getting her attention she turned to see a girl with violet hair white shirt under a black vest ,a red skirt and black socks and shoes skipping of from a limo as it honked a man presumably her daddy a gray haired gentleman wearing a top hat poked out of the limo's sun roof "Zee, you forgot your backpack." holding said backpack turning to see her holding it "Thanks, Daddy! Toodles." before climbing the stairs to class. Babs can't help but rub her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things before saying" Okay, that was weird." before going in to get her school schedule.
Walking down the school hall she can't help but find a lot of students are wearing the VR goggles that was advertised this morning as she was walking one of them bumped into her saying sorry and walked off before she could continue walking she heard "I told you, Hal. I don't believe in the Lantern Corps. Their methods are too extreme." turning her attention to a Hispanic girl in all green dress and beanie and cute boy (her words not mine)
in a green sleeved white t-shirt and jeans "Look, I don't make the rules." he explained before noticing...Oh better open this lock before your accused of snooping (wait weren't you snooping the whole time?)
before she could look any less conspicuous she noticed the girl trying hand a ring back "Take it, Hal." gasp "I don't want it." is this a falling out? " No, Jess. They chose you." they? as they walked off Babs starts to ponder about the strangeness going on, maybe... (hey the bell rang don't you have class?) as she ran she finds herself listening in on the students gossip about the wonder woman and wondering how many superhero does metropolis have "I don't know. But I'm gonna find out." as she concoct a plan to get them in one spot all she need is a scene.
as Babs set her spaghetti down she take note of all her targets and now she just need someone to set the chain reaction "Okay, Metropolis High, let's do this." as she sipped her milk she evaluate the targets. Jess is braiding a girls hair, the bee girl is reading her book while eating spaghetti like her, but she also saw those two boys behind her with the purple guy pointing his rolled up pasta at the green guy who was eating a sandwich, before turning her attention on Kara who was napping while some guy next to her was taking aim at another guy who was asleep, before turning her attention to Zee who was texting than she heard a grunt turning back to Kara laughing at the guy who was sleeping wiping something off his face while looking annoyed at the other guy who was smirking. that would work.
as Kara was about to dig in her burger she was splatted in the face full of spaghetti wiping away the meat sauce she at first turn to the bee girl only to hear a "oi are you listening?" as she turn to the guy in purple wanting revenge she throw her burger at the back of his head knocking off his hat as well as face plant in his pasta actually getting the guy in greens attention. a pregnant pause before the fedora wearing teen got up and turned to the blonde rebel who was smirking at him before looking surprised as she duck as he threw a sandwich at her then heard a cry "My hair. My... hair!" and in her rage she threw a carton of milk blindly at the bee girl who was protected by Jess while crying out " Leave her alone." only to hit the fedora guy who cried out "OI" getting a wince from the bee girl and her protector before he retaliates with a handful of pasta at her.
with a cry Babs stood on the table "FOOD FIGHT!"
and chaos ensured no one is safe as the lunch room became a war-zone and the only safe route was at the center where the 7 most involved ended up all while curses, grunts and taunts and the occasional girly scream. It was pandemonium until a teacher who was passing by saw the mess and like any teacher put in his predicament he yells "Enough!" his face was hit by a pie wiping off the pastry in furious anger " I said ENOUGH!"
getting everyone's attention " whose responsible for this mess." as everyone point to the middle of the room. finding five girls and two boys in a mass of limbs well only one boy was in the mass as the other one was ducking close by with his book covering his head. the teacher walks up to the tangled teens "you seven, let's go" " huh?"
(In DETENTION *dramatic tic tic tic*)
Teacher: " Detention on the first day of school. tsk tsk tsk" as he shakes his head in disappointment before looking at them "now behave yourselves you're in enough trouble as is" as he left closing the door.
The (de)tension was growing thick only for one to break it " I hope you all have good attorneys." said Zee as she was filing her nails only to get a scoff from Kara "What are you gonna do? Sue me 'cause I have better aim than you?" "Ooh, I knew you threw those potatoes!" said Zee as she point her filer at her in accusation "Like your any better, you threw a whole turkey at me, where the hell did you even find a whole fricken turkey!?" retort Shoutaro in both anger and confusion. "Now, let's not start fighting again." Jess intervene "You threw more nuggets than anyone!" Kara exclaimed "Um, for the record, if I offended anyone, I'm truly very sorry." before squeaking in fright as the door opened to reveal an officer and teacher at the tail end of their conversation "We found her just walking around the streets." "Cutting class on the first day of school. [clicks tongue] Get in here with the other delinquents while I find out which homeroom you're in." as the teacher pushed the hooded figure in the room before closing the door and left.
getting curious looks from everyone the figure decided to take off the cloak getting gasp from everyone "That's... She's..." Kara stuttered "Gorgeous!" Zee finished Shoutaro can't help but whistle in appreciation (no wolves here.)She is a tanned skin beauty with flowing dark hair and she wears a golden tiara with a red star, red star earrings, red armor with a golden W on the top, golden shoulder pads and knee pads, a blue skirt with stars on each side, and red boots with a white stripe going down the front of each one. where as Phillip can't help but wanting to find out who she was. "Is that..." wondered Jess before Babs finished with a barely contained squeal " The Wonder Woman." only for a scoff from Kara "That's no wonder woman. It's just some dumb cosplay girl." before Wonder Woman replied " I am no girl. I am Diana, Princess of the Amazons. I alone survived the 21 tests of the tournament of Athena and Aphrodite. By right, I am not a girl, but a woman." unbeknownst to her she just gave the exact keywords for Philip to get what he wanted and Shoutaro saw his eyes glowed with a barley seen codes of binary and scripts.(yes Philip eyes glows when using the Gaia library as a visual showing he's in his inner library or not) "what did you get Philip?"
"she's telling the truth, mostly" causing Shoutaro to blink at his answer.
Before he could reply Kara got his attention "Trust me, Princess, you do not want to start with me." she warned
" Is this a challenge?" Wonder Women said thinking Kara wants a fight (she's rebellious even if she doesn't mean it the attitude just scream fight me.) "For you, maybe." she scoffed but WW taking it seriously got in a stance before replying " Very well. I shall allow you first strike." Kara stunned turn amused got in her own stance "All right. But you asked for it." then threw the first punch it didn't connect "Again" WW spoke as if she was an instructor taking this a little seriously Kara now start to throw another straight only to be parried and kicked in the stomach being pushed back about a foot both girls are stunned but Kara stood up blowing a lock of hair while dusting of the dirt from the kick before going in starting with a heymaker that missed before charging in for another punch only to hit the wall as WW vault herself over Kara before kicking her in the back causing Kara to throw punch after punch as WW keeps side stepping as she kept the pace Shoutaro was impressed as he was analyzing the fight as the Blondie is not only powerful but also durable as she didn't seem fazed when kick in the solar plexus that even WW seem surprised but it seem like its going in Wonder Women's pace because she's keeping her self far enough to see where Blondie's gonna throw her punches but close enough so she can attack if she finds an opening but during his inner monologue Kara is starting to get really frustrated "Why don't you just stand still?" so much so she forgot her own strength because she punched WW through the wall.
everyone gasp while Shoutaro shouted out "What did you do!?" Kara realized with a gasp as she slowly walked up to the gaping hole in the wall panicking "Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry. Are you all—"only to cut off by a war cry as WW barreled in rolling on the floor stopping on top of Kara whose eyes were wide in surprise then pummeled as WW was punching her in the floor hard breaking the floor under Kara's head before Kara kicks her off WW lands on Karen desk spooking before looking behind and grabbing a bunch of DVD case and using them as throwing disk (admit it, you would do the same if could but the movies isn't that bad.) as Kara ducked under a few she decided to use a desk of her own which just so happens to be Phillips who nonchalantly went to Shoutaro who was watching the chaos before noticing the giddy look from the hoodie girl. as the two girls got ready for the final charge a glowing green spring appeared between them surprising them before being launched away from each other (SURPRISE) "Both of you, stop! Fighting is never the answer." as we see the glow returned to Jess with her ring out "Yes" we turn to Karen grunting trying to put her Ju- I mean high tech armor on while saying "The answer is..." as she fiddled with it "[squeaky voice] Running away." she shrank to the size of a bee and flew of before she could be crushed by different random things you find in a classroom before crashing into a window. multiple times.( you can hear the tink tink sound)
as everyone was doing their own chaos Kara and WW are destroying the class Babs was hopping in excitement
Jess is trying to stop the two brawlers Zee was doing her nails Shoutaro was trying not get hit by stray things and Philip who was quietly observing the situation before his eyes glowed for a moment as if the GAIA memory was telling him someone is coming he knew it would be a teacher (the GAIA Library would sometime give little warning as a safety measure for Philip but he will only have a small hint because he isn't actively using it basically kinda like the spidey sense you know somethings coming but not what.) he said "teacher's coming" though only Babs heard because they are still next to each other and the chaos is hard to hear so. but before she could shout she was beaten to the punch when she heard Shoutaro shout out "Ikageni shiyou! the teacher is coming back!" that surprised Babs as he was across the room so he was unlikely to hear the other guy somethings up but almost everyone is trying and failing to clean the room they mostly totaled.
as the door creaked open Zee who was not helping but was doing her make up decide she should lent a hand "tup siht os ssalc egnarts niaga" as teacher walked in he sees the students with "innocent" looks as the room seem to be in better shape than before, strange? quirking a brow the teacher said " Everything all right in here?" getting a " Mmm-hmm." from Zee and a " Everything is fine Mr. Chapin." from Shoutaro with a bigger than necessary smile as he was sweating a bit. "All right. Good. I, um, forgot my keys." as he dragged the last word while looking at the teens in suspicion before closing and leaving getting some sigh of relief as as almost everyone slouched "A-ha!" before Babs jumped in front " I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew you were super. I knew it the minute I saw you dent that car door because no ordinary person could possibly slam a door that hard. And then when you spilled all those weird metal thingies on the bus, I knew there was something weird going on with you, too. And then you, all of a sudden, had your backpack, and I was like, "That's weird." And then I overheard you talking to that cute boy about some Corps thing and some ring and I knew something was up, And you two well honestly you two were dragged in but you knew the teacher was coming before he even came and you somehow heard him even though he wasn't that loud and you were across the room so I thought that was weird, so I decided to start a food fight so that we all get detention together, which totally worked. And then you, I wasn't planning on you showing up at all. So that's just like a huge bonus anyway. My plan was that you'd all keep fighting once we got to detention and all get so worked up that you'd be forced to reveal that you're super and guess what, so am I! The one and only Batgirl." as she spouted all that word out like she doesn't need lungs everyone in the room blinked in astonishment until Kara groaned out "Great! Another cosplayer." where as Shoutaro got a more annoyed look " You dragged us in your plan just to find out if we're supers!?" Philip only seem to nod at her plan impressed.
Before Shoutaro could reprimand her he was cut off "Huzzah! At last. A sister-in-arms. Never had I dreamed I would encounter the warrior spirit of an Amazon upon entering the world of Man. For you see, it is my quest, my crusade, my destiny, to bring the Amazon way of peace and prosperity to man's world, and to rid it of all evil. The gods bestowed this honor upon me and I feared I alone should have to carry my burden. But now... Now I have a sister by my side." as she was regaling her motivating speech she was snapped out of by her last sentence before breaking free and announce " No, no, no, no. Five sisters and two brothers." as she present them but each of them weren't on board her crazy ride.
Kara "Uh, nope. I use my powers, I get in trouble. Every single time."
Jess "Not me. I'm not fighting anyone."
Zee " [chuckle] Sorry. I'm an artiste. Not a police officer."
Shoutarou "Not happening, we have our own problem to deal with."
Phillip is still reading the book not interested at all
Karen "Um, I'm not really that good at it." before WW slam her hands on her table startling the poor girl "Cowards! I speak of destiny. The same mantle of greatness the gods bestowed upon me, they have also bestowed upon you." she said before Babs chime in with a " Plus, come on, you guys! How can you not be excited about heroes and villains and fighting crime and hidden lairs and secret identities and stuff?"
Zee decided to burst her bubble a bit "Um, the trick with secret identities, my dear, is that, in order to remain secret, one must convincingly pass as a normal human being." she can't help but say while Shoutaro dipped his fedora a bit before saying "And walking around in a hood doesn't count as "hiding" your secret identity, you know?" Babs seeing their point decides a compromise "Okay, tell you what. You guys give being a team a teensie try, she'll teach us how to be heroes and you can give her a makeover. Deal?" she said hopefully.
Zee seeing this as an excuse to dress her up goes up with a sigh "Who am I to say no to a makeover?" Karen walked up as well "Um... Okay." followed by Jess "Good for you, Karen. I'll try, too, but only to support and encourage Karen's brave decision." with Phillip standing up before walking to them "This could be interesting."
as they all look at the last two sitting getting their attention "Fine. Whatever." they both deadpanned before reluctantly joining them Babs getting excited "Yes! It's settled. Super awesome super hero-ness, here we come!" as she grabbed them into a hug only to get a cough to get her attention who belong to Shoutaro who was feeling awkward being between Jess and Kara decided to voice out "That seems great but before all that hero stuff we might as well introduce ourselves since we will be stuck here until the teacher say otherwise and we don't know everyone but Diana."
Babs " Oh, right." as she lets go "I'm Barbara Gordan I just moved here from Gotham but you can call me Babs." Shoutaro blinked before filling that information.
Karen "Oh.. um my name is Karen Beecher."
Jess "And I'm her friend Jessica Cruz or Jess if you like."
Zee "You may call me the great and awe inspiring Zee Zatara, darling" Shoutaro looked away as she was eyeing him.
Kara "Danvers, Kara Danvers." short and to the point huh?
Shoutarou "Guess it's our turn Ore wa Hidari Shoutaro, family name first giving name last so call me whichever you want and this's my Aibou Phillip." while some of the girls were confused before Babs translate some stuff as she knew a bit of Japanese.
WW "And you already know me, so may we be in best company in our future." as she hold her hands out before Hidari steps up gave her a shake "yeah, lets hope this "team" thing will work out" all while Phillip was looking at WW intently.
