Chapter 1
~UA~
(Kat's P.O.V.)
"ACK!" I Yelped as I fell onto the hard stone pavement.
I'd fallen through a portal that had taken the place of my couch, don't ask me how, because I don't know; I sat up and looked around, I'd fallen onto a sidewalk in front of what seemed to be a school.
"HEY!"
I jumped as a voice yelled behind me. I quickly climbed up onto my feet and turned around, then froze because the person was staring directly at me.
"U-um," I stuttered, "M-me?" I said with a nervous, worried smile.
"WELL DUH YOU, YOU DANG EXTRA!" He says glaring at me and starting to stomp over.
He looked well built, with spiky blonde hair, and red eyes.
"Hey! That's rude" I said to him, feigning hurt.
"YOU THINK I CARE!" He Yelled, "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
I winced and covered my ears. Wow, he's really, really loud, "You couldn't tone it down just a tiny bit, could you."
"You didn't answer my question." He said, not in a total normal talking tone but much quieter than before, though it was now sort of an angry growl.
"Oh, um." I say realizing and uncovering my ears, and then wondering what I was doing there, I mean, I don't even know who created the portal that sent me here, "My name's Katrian Kaliko, and, uh, I have no idea."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NO IDEA!?" He said, yelling again, "WERE YOU KIDNAPPED AND DROPPED HERE? DID YOU LAY DOWN FOR A NAP AND THEN ACCIDENTALLY SLEEPWALK HERE?!"
"Eep! Geez! Chill!" I yelped and jumped back.
"Hey! Bakugou!" Yelled a girl's voice from somewhere behind the guy. Bakugou, she said?
The girl had pink skin and hair and her eyes had yellow irises and black sclera, she also had antenna.
Weird...
"What do you want, Ashido?" He said exasperated.
"Oh! Um Sero and Kirishima were looking for... You…" She trails off, seeing me, "Who's that?"
"I DON'T KNOW! I' D BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT BEFORE YOU INTERRUPTED ME!" He yelled at her.
"Well, I'm sorry Bakugou, I was just trying to do my job," The girl said very matter of factly, "But uhm, Who are you?" She said, turning to me.
I sighed, "My name is Katrian Kaliko, and I have no idea why I'm here."
"You don't know why you're here? Do you know how you got here?" She asked, looking confused.
"All I know is one second I was on my couch watching YouTube, then my couch was replaced with a portal and then I was here." I say honestly.
"A portal?" She says, concerned; she turns around to the boy, "We should take her to Mr. Aizawa."
"Sure, whatever." He says, still glowering.
She turned around and looked at me, "Well, Hi! My name is Mina Ashido, I'm a student at the school right behind you, UA, the guy that was yelling at you was Katsuki Bakugou." She says pointing at herself and then the boy.
"Um, Hi?" I say, feeling awkward, "What did you say about taking me to someone?"
"Oh, I was thinking we could take you to Mr. Aizawa, since he might be able to help you." She said, "You want to go?"
"Um, sure?" I say.
Mina grabbed my hand and dragged me into the school, UA, up the stairs, well up a lot of stairs, and right in front of an office door, with Bakugou right behind us.
She knocked on the door, "Mr. Aizawa!"
"Ugh," Someone says, "What?"
The door opens, there in the doorway stood a man with long black hair, black eyes and some stubble.
"Oh, it's you." He says, glaring down at Mina, "What do you want this time?"
"Well," She said, "Sero and Kirishima told me to go get Bakugou, But when I found him he was yelling at this girl and and I asked her who she was and how she got here and it turns out apparently she was chilling on her couch and then it was turned into a portal and she fell onto the sidewalk in front of UA."
"And what's her name?" The man, Mr. Aizawa, says.
"Oh! It's-" Mina starts but I interrupt her, stepping out from behind her, "Katrian Kaliko, Pleasure to meet you."
He looks at me with suspicion, then turns to the boy, "Bakugou."
"Yes?" Bakugou growled.
"Go get Shinsou from 1-C." He says.
"Why?" He says, annoyed.
"Just go." He says, glaring at him.
Bakugou glares back, turns around, and stomps away.
"You." He says, turning his glare onto me, "Wait here."
Around fifteen minutes later Bakugou came back with a purple haired boy who looked like he hadn't slept in days.
"You needed me?" the boy says in a monotone voice.
"Yes, this girl," He points to me, and I shrink back a little, "says that she fell through a portal that took the place of her couch."
The kid looks at me with interest then looks back at Aizawa, "So why do you need me?"
"To use your quirk on her and ask her a few questions."
"Alright." He says turning to me.
I look back and forth between Aizawa and the kid, "Hold on. What the heck is a quirk!?"
A look of shock crosses their faces.
"You don't know what a quirk is!?" Mina yells.
"Noooo… Should I?"
The Bakugou kid snorts, "She doesn't even know what a quirk is," He mutters, then in a louder voice, "Can I go now?"
"Sure, don't kill anyone on the way out." Aizawa says.
Bakugou rolls his eyes and leaves, leaving me, Mina, Aizawa, and the purple haired boy.
"Soooo… you gonna tell me what a quirk is or…" I say.
"Right, a quirk is like a supernatural ability." Aizawa says.
"Ok…"I say, sounds like my glitch, "Will that kid's quirk hurt me?" I say pointing at the boy.
"Only if I wanted to." The kid said.
I look at him, "That doesn't reassure me."
"I was just answering your question."
"Anyways… What's his name?" I say turning to Mina and Aizawa.
"Shinsou Hitoshi." Shinsou says." Yours?"
"Katrian Kaliko."
Suddenly I felt my eyes glaze over. Is this his quirk thing? I wonder.
"Is Katrian Kaliko your real name?" He asks.
"Yes." Hold on. Why'd I say that?
"What is your purpose here?"
"I don't know." Well, that's true enough.
At my answer Shinsou and Aizawa look a bit taken aback.
"Do you know where here is?"
"Not really, though I was told this building was called UA high school." Also, true.
"Did your couch actually get replaced with a portal?"
"Yes."
Now he looked amused, "Well then, the last two questions. How old are you?"
"15."
"What's your quirk?"
"I don't know." Um… I guess glitch.
"Huh," He turns to Aizawa, "Well she's clear."
"Alright, you can release her. "He says with a sigh, "I'll just take her to Nezu."
Suddenly my eyes unglazed and I could move and speak freely again.
"Hol' up!" I say putting my hands up in a 'stop' motion, "What the heck was that!?"
"My quirk."
"And what exactly does your quirk do?"
"Brainwashes people."
I choke, "W-what!?"I mean sure I use glitch to brainwash my brother, Mark, to do stuff for me all the time, BUT I WOULDN'T JUST GO OUT AND ADMIT IT!
He chuckles, "Well, I'm going back to class, bye!"
I look at Mina and then Aizawa, "Should I be worried?"
"Yes, but not about that, "Aizawa says, turning around and starting to walk down the hall, "Follow me."
I give Mina a pleading look and she pats my back.
I sigh following Aizawa.
After walking for what felt like an eternity, we arrive at a door labeled 'Principle', that Aizawa knocked on, then opened and barged right in.
"Oh, hello Shota!" said a white mouse, dog, hamster, bear, thing.
"Hello Nezu,"He says in a bored voice, then points at me, "This kid fell out of some portal onto UA grounds, and I don't think she's from around here since she doesn't know what a quirk is."
"Interesting…" The teacher said looking at me, "She could attend classes here until we find out where she's really from."
"She doesn't even know what a quirk is." Aizawa says, looking at Nezu with an 'Are you serious' look.
"Well, you can teach her." He says brightly.
"THE SPORTS FESTIVAL IS IN TWO WEEKS!" Aizawa yells.
"Well then," Nezu says, "You should start now."
"Uhm… I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but do I have a say in this?" I ask.
"When it comes to Nezu, no," Aizawa says, grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of the office, "Come on, let's go."
"Class," Aizawa says, we had walked down a few flights of stairs, through a few hallways and now stood in front of a class, "This is Katrian Kaliko, she'll be joining us for a while."
"WHAT? WHY?! SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A QUIRK IS!" Yelled a voice in the back right of the class.
I scanned the class to see who had yelled and wasn't even surprised to see the spiky hair of the Bakugou kid from before, I even saw Mina to the left of him.
"If you have complaints," Aizawa continued, "You may take them to the Principle, since it was his idea."
"Am I allowed to do that?" I ask, hopefully.
"No."
I sigh in defeat, Fabulous, "Where should I sit?"
"The desk in front of the kid with yellow and black hair."
The class seemed to take forever, but eventually the bell that signaled lunch rang and we were dismissed.
"Hey new girl!" A voice called from behind me.
I jumped in surprise, "Y-yes?" I say turning around to face the boy who had spoken.
"What's your quirk?" He asked.
"I guess Glitch?" I say in a questioning tone.
"You guess?" He says, confused.
"Hey! Kaliko! Come on!" I turn back around to see Mina waving at me by the door, "You too Denki!"
"Coming!" Denki called looking at her, turning back to me, he got up, grabbed my wrist and dragged me off with him to join Mina, "Let's go!"
Once we get over to Mina, I see four other people with her, three boys, one girl, one of the boys being Bakugou.
"Why would you invite her over?" He says, glaring at Mina, the comment obviously pointed at me.
"Because she's new and I like new people," She says, not bothered at all by his comment, "Plus I'm the first person she met here other than you."
"Also, he," I say, pointing at Bakugou, "wasn't very nice when I met him."
"I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU WERE!" He yells, "FOR ALL I KNEW YOU WERE A VILLAIN!"
"YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO FIND OUT! YOU JUST STARTED YELLING!"
"I WAS TRYING PINKY INTERRUPTED ME!"
Suddenly one of the boys stopped us, "Woah, woah! Chill Bakubro!" He says, now able to study him more, I could see that he had spiky red hair that stuck up, and sharp teeth, "And she kinda has a point, especially if you just started yelling."
"SHUT UP OR I'LL BLOW YOUR FACE OFF!"
"That's not very manly, bro..."
"Well, anyway…" Mina says, grabbing my arm and dragging me over to where the other two people were standing and watching the redhead and Bakugou argue with a mix of amusement and worry on their faces, "Kaliko, this is Jiro and Sero," She says, gesturing at the two as the pair turn to face them, "Jiro, Sero, this is Kaliko."
"Um, you can call me Kat." I say awkwardly.
"Nice to meet you," Says the girl. She has short navy-blue hair that reaches just above her shoulders with straight bangs and earphones that hang attached to her ears, her quirk? "I'm Jiro, my quirks earphone jack, yours?"
"Glitch, I guess."
The boy who has similar hair, just black and a bit zig zaggy, I think Mina said his name was Sero, looks confused, "You guess?"
"Dude! That's exactly what I said!" Denki says from behind me, making me jump since he had been trying to break up the fight between Bakugou and the redhead. I turn around and see him with the redhead beside him, smiling, and Bakugou behind, looking ticked off.
"Well, I'm not really from around here…" I say, rubbing the back of my neck.
Bakugou snorts, "You literally fell from a por-" He starts but gets cut off by both me and Mina slamming our hands over his mouth.
"Eheheh, don't mind him. He doesn't know what he's talking about." Mina says with an awkward laugh, while the others look at us confused.
"Shut up! Aizawa told me to make sure no one found out!" I whisper in his ear.
He glares at me and Mina and rips our hands off, "Tch, let's just go to lunch already."
I'M SOOOO SORRY THERE ISN'T ANY MORE YET! I KNOW HOW ANOYING IT IS TO WAIT! BUT AS MUCH AS I WANT TO ADD MORE MY SCHOOL WORK IS CURRENTLY MORE IMPORTANT! 3 Luna
