Perdita and Pongo in the Fading Magic Scene

It was a really crazy day for Perdita the Dalmatian from the Mewni Dimension. She had just helped to destroy the Magic Dimension since the stuff was causing so much pain back home. She, her mother and two other Dalmatians had just used a powerful and devastating spell known as The Whispering Spell to destroy the magical realm. But as she was heading back home with her mother and a few friends, her heart was thinking back to the one she loved. A young Dalmatian from the Earth Dimension. When the Magic Dimension started to really fall apart, Perdita had urged Pongo to go back to Earth, knowing that it would be the last time that they would ever see each other. But as she had come up the well to her home dimension, she was thinking of being with him and fell back through the well, much to her mother's dismay.
Perdita was now yelling as she fell back into the fading Magic Dimension and grunted in pain when she landed on her side in the fading magic water. Perdita rose to her feet and looked over to see if the Earth Well was still open, but her heart became heavy as it wasn't anymore. Tears welled up in the Dalmatian of Mewni's eyes as she thought that she would never see the Earth Dalmatian ever again. She heard Glossaryck say from above her, "The Earth Well closed a while ago." The little blue man was floating above her in his meditative position. But he give her hope when he turned and pointed as he said, "But the kid's still here."
Perdita looked in the same direction with wide eyes and saw Pongo huddled next to a cracked crystal as he was looking back at her. The young Dog was clutching his middle to cover up his wound from earlier. He was just as surprised as her when he said, "Perdita?"
"Pongo!" Perdita shouted as she ran over to him. Placing a paw on the Earth Dalmatian's shoulder, she sounded worried when she asked, "Wh-What are you doing here?"
"Well…" Pongo lightly chuckled as he looked down. He looked her in the eyes as he said with a grin, "guess the same thing as you."
Perdita smiled as tears once again welled up in her eyes. Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed over them as the Magic Dimension continued to fall apart around them. Pongo looked around before asking his best friend, "So… any idea what happens if we stay here?
"No…" Perdita said as she honestly had no idea. She wrapped both paws around him and pulled him into an embrace as she said, "and I don't care."
Pongo returned the embrace as he didn't really care what happened next either as long as he was his best friend. Two of the spot Perdita's cheeks glowed in the shapes of hearts as she said with a smile, "Because with or without magic…"
"We belong together." Pongo said as a couple of spots on his cheeks too glowed, taking on the shape of crescent moons.
They closed their eyes and they prepared themselves for whatever happened next. But as their cheeks continued to glow, the fading magical water around them started to glow as well. The magic of their friendship and love created a swirling light around them just as the Magic Dimension faded in a flash of white.

Author's Note: Yes, Perdita and Pongo are both young adolescent dogs in this fanfic. I do plan to do a few more, whether they be dogs or humans, but we'll just have to wait and see.
