A Fateful Encounter
It was a typical morning on a weekend in Middleton; the very city that is the home of the world-renowned heroine for hire named Kim Possible and her best friend Ron Stoppable. Well, one can say that a previous mission that the two teens had to complete was a total...fiasco to put it simply.
During the week, Ron introduced Kim to something called an "Animology Test". Despite that she claimed it to be bogus, the redhead took it nevertheless. Her result was that she was a Blue Fox. Seeking who was the Yellow Trout which is supposedly "her soulmate", she discovered, much to her dismay, that it was one of her foes named Señor Senior Junior. The girl recalls how Señor Senior Senior nearly destroyed her with missiles from an attack helicopter but he intervened, thus saving her life
It was no different when Kim discovered flowers in her locker while at school.
Flashback:
Kim opens her locker in the hallways of Middleton High. Upon opening the door, flowers spill onto the floor, much to her shock. Then, she activates her computer screen to contact an African kid who was sitting at his desk
"Wade...?!"
"Morning Kim." Wade greets. "Did you get the flowers?"
"Uh...yeah." Kim replies in awkward tone.
"There's an e-card. I'll stream it to you."
Wade pressed a key on his keyboard. Then, Kim's computer screen goes static before revealing Señor Senior Junior as he said through the supposed e-card.
"My blue fox. I count the hours until my father's criminal activities bring us near again." Junior says poetically
After the man blows a kiss, the computer screen goes to Wade as the boy said in a teasing way
"That is so beautiful."
Wade laughs before the screen blacks out as Kim closed her locker door.
Flashback ends
Kim found it slightly romantic in a way, but shuddered at the thought of one of her enemies being her soulmate due to a test that is a hybrid of astrology and personality quiz. It was an experience that the redhead never wanted to endure again.
In a neighborhood, there was a two-story house that has a "For Sale" sign with the word "Sold" over it on the front lawn. A family recently moved into it since Friday afternoon. Inside the residential property, someone was awakening. In a room that had a stack of flattened moving boxes neatly piled in one corner, a teenage boy was emerging from the covers of his bed. He had jet black hair, blue sapphire eyes, and a build that was like a swimmer's body, but more muscular.
Despite being young, he had rugged good looks that would make any teenage girl swoon over him. However, he never flaunts them, due to the humility in his heart. With a stretch, he fully awakens before going towards the kitchen to eat breakfast. As he approaches, he hears commotion from the basement.
Shifting course, he goes to the source, coming from the basement. Inside, there was a man who had dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a mustache, organizing the basement into a small laboratory and workshop.
"Morning dad. Need any help?" the boy asks
"No thanks Cale." the man replies. "I got this."
The boy named Cale nods in response before he and his father hear a woman's voice calling out
"Sam! When you're finished, I'll need some help with the living room!"
"I'm almost finished Katherine!" Sam calls. "I'll be there in a moment!"
As Cale left the basement to get to the kitchen, a woman with shoulder-length black hair and ice blue eyes noticed as she greets
"Morning Cale."
"Morning mom." Cale replies
"Planning to head out?" Katherine asks
"Yeah." Cale replies as he microwaves a breakfast sandwich. "Since this city is my new home now, I might as well get to know the layout."
Katherine smiles with a slight scoff as she said
"Well, considering that you got your room organized since yesterday, I'd say you've earned it."
However, as Cale took a seat after pouring a glass of milk, Katherine sent him a certain look and said
"Remember. If anything happens, you know what to do."
"I know." Cale replies
Suddenly, a younger boy who looked no older than 10 years of age enters the kitchen with a pout as he said
"You're done with your room already, Cale?! How did you do it so fast?!"
"Simple little brother; I always plan ahead." Cale said with a smug smile
"Mikey!" Katherine gently scolds. "Now do you see what happens when you procrastinate?"
Katherine shakes her head with a smile, seeing her younger son pout once again.
After Cale finished, he proceeds to dispose the flattened boxes before washing up and getting dressed into a wardrobe of a dark gray shirt, black cargo pants, and black shoes. Once the boy placed a 24K gold and black ring on his right ring finger, he grabs his black rollerblades and stuffs them in a backpack before grabbing his smartphone, black ear buds that were wireless, a portable speaker, wallet, and sunglasses before leaving the house.
"Wonder what Middleton has to offer..." Cale thought as he puts on his rollerblades after putting his shoes into his backpack.
As the boy skates down the neighborhood to leave, Cale thinks to himself once again
"Still, I guess I can put in some time to practice before exploring the city."
He subtly shifts course as he proceeds to skate to the city heading to a park that was nearby. What Cale did not realize was that the hand of fate was going to find him and place him on a life-changing journey.
"I can't believe this! Don't they have anything better to do?!"
Kim was fuming as she walked down the streets of the city. Earlier, Wade informed her that Drakken and Shego broke into a laboratory and stole the top secret Centurion Project again. The redhead was able to fend them off and secure it as the bracelet was now safe inside her purse. However, as before, she was temporarily stuck with it until Monday. Thankfully though, it wasn't bonded to her wrist like last time during Halloween.
Kim was a hundred feet away from the park as she proceeds to walk towards the Middleton Mall. However, she didn't know that despite the park being empty, someone was there.
In the grass area of the park, Cale had his rollerblades in his backpack after putting on his shoes. Once he connected the speaker to his phone, the boy increased the volume to maximum before selecting a rock song to play. As the music began, Cale gets on one knee, closed his eyes, lowers his head and does a one handed handsign like a ninja. However, he did not know that he was about to have an audience when the lyrics began
How can you see into my eyes, like open doors
Kim hears the lyrics and the sound of a piano as she follows it to the source. Once she locates it, the redhead sees a boy on one knee before he slowly rose up

Where I've become so numb
As the music increased in intensity, Kim watches the boy as he begins to practice martial arts movements that were strange to her. In her perspective, this newcomer was someone she has never seen before. He had black hair that was styled quite nicely, blue eyes and wore dark clothing. Kim's eyes slightly widened as she let out a tiny gasp; to her, this boy was quite cute and looked to be her age

While the song continued playing, Kim continued watching him with a blush. She saw how fluid his movements were and it looked like he was fighting an unseen legion of opponents when she saw him attack, defend, dodge, and counter.
Barely two minutes have passed as the boy rapidly turned around and seemed to block an overhead strike. That's when he finally noticed that there was a spectator watching him. He lowers his guard as the boy walks up to his phone and turns the music off.
Kim snapped out of her trance at the sound of the music being cut before she saw him smile
"How long were you standing there?" he asks.
"Oh. Sorry." Kim sheepishly apologizes. "I'm just..."
The boy smiles as he picked up his devices and backpack before slinging it on.
"It's cool. I get that I'm a stranger here."
Kim was surprised at his words before she asks
"You're new here?"
"Yeah. Moved here since yesterday." he replies.
Kim blushed again as she felt a strange feeling in her stomach. Soon, she regains her senses as she greets with a shy tone.
"I'm Kim...Kim Possible."
"Cale Skywalker." Cale replies.
Kim blushed as she glanced away before asking him
"So...Cale" Kim began while rubbing the back of her head. "What...brings you here?"
"Well, I was going to head to this...Middleton Mall that they have here, but I...am a little lost." Cale replies sheepishly as he started to blush a little
Kim chuckled before she said to him
"If you want, I'll show where it is. It's no big."
It was Cale's turn to be shy as he said hesitantly
"Um...sure. I could use a little guidance."
Half an hour has passed. The two teens were currently in the food court, enjoying lunch.
In Cale's point of view, the mall had some rather...unique stores inside such as "Victoria's Circuits", "Earring World", and "Club Banana" to name a few.
"So Cale, if you don't mind me asking, can you tell me about yourself." Kim says
"Well, first off, I'm fourteen." Cale began. "My folks and I moved here from Los Angeles since yesterday."
"Oh?" Kim asked, intrigued.
"Yeah." Cale replied. "My mom's a cop who got promoted to commander for the SWAT team and got transferred to the HQ here in this city." he pauses to take a drink of his soda "then there's my dad. He's a scientist and engineer. He also got a promotion and recently transferred to the Middleton Cybernetics Corporation."
"Interesting." Kim comments as she took a sip of her drink as well
"With them getting promoted and transferring to their new jobs, that's how I ended up here." Cale says
"Any siblings?" Kim asks
"I have a younger brother." Cale replies. "He's 10, but he has a knack of trying to pull pranks on me. Despite him failing all the time, my dad would sometimes get caught in a crossfire."
Kim giggled at his quip. Then, Cale asks
"What about you?"
"Oh. Well, like you I'm fourteen as well." Kim says. "I was born and raised here in Middleton. My dad is a rocket scientist for the Middleton Space Center while my mom is a brain surgeon for the Middleton Medical Center."
"Nice." Cale comments, genuinely impressed.
"Then I have two brothers, the Tweebs." Kim adds. "They're troublemakers with a capital T."
Cale chuckled before he said
"I think our folks would get along really well, but I'm not so sure about our brothers befriending one another."
Kim chuckled at that remark. Once Cale finished taking a bite of his subsandwich, he cleans his mouth with a napkin before asking
"If you don't mind me asking, what do you like doing for your pastime?"
"Well, when I'm not too busy doing odd jobs, like babysitting among other things," Kim said, subtly hiding the fact of what she really is, "I like going to Bueno Nacho with my friends," she gestures to the mall, "going here to shop at Club Banana, listen to music, or just relax at home when there's nothing to do."
Cale listened without interrupting Kim. Then, curiosity got to him as he asked
"There's a Bueno Nacho here?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?" Kim asks
"Last week before I moved here, a Bueno Nacho opened in Los Angeles." Cale comments
"Really?"
"Yeah. However, my friend Hanzo told me to stay away from that place without explaining why." Cale says with a shrug.
"Oh."
Then, Kim decided to ask Cale
"What do you like doing for fun?"
"When I'm free, I like hanging out with my friends Hanzo and Ashly. Sometimes, I like to play video games, when I'm in the mood. I like to draw, listen to music, or just chill at home." Cale says.
Kim was intrigued. This boy seems like a mature version of Ron. However, she remembered what she recently witnessed Cale practicing before she asks
"By the way, what sort of martial arts were you doing at the park?"
"Oh. That was ninjutsu." Cale replies.
"Wait, ninjutsu...?" Kim asks as if she didn't hear him right. "You mean, you're a ninja...?"
"You can call it that, but I mainly use it for defense." Cale replies. "My mother had me train since I was five. She wanted to be able to defend myself, if necessary."
"Wow." Kim comments, thoroughly impressed.
"You can say that my former master, Fujin; he taught me well." Cale comments
Kim smirks before she said
"I think I've found the perfect sparring partner."
Cale chuckled at Kim's remark.
Time passed as both teens were finished with their lunch. They were leaving the food court as they went down the escalator to the first floor.
"So Cale, since you've moved here, what school are you going to enroll in?" Kim asks
Before Cale could answer, an explosion occurred from the ceiling of the mall. Debris fell to the floor as the crashing sounds were more than enough to cause every civilian to panic and evacuate the mall. Kim looks at the settling dust to see two figures in a familiar hovercraft as she groans. However, she wasn't alone
In Cale's perspective, there were two people inside the hovering vehicle. One was a man who had light blue skin, a small mullet of black hair tied at the back of his head, and black eyes. He wore a laboratory coat that was a darker shade of blue with black gloves and black boots. Next to him was a woman who had a big mane of black hair, green eyes, and a greenish tint in her skin who was clad in a black and green catsuit as they looked around, searching for someone.
"Kim Possible! Surrender the Centurion Project! Now!" Dr. Drakken shouts.
Kim tightens her grip on her purse that contained the Centurion Project as she said with a defiant glare
"No chance, Drakken!"
"Uh...Kim? What's going on?" Cale asked curiously
The redhead suddenly remembers who was accompanying her. Kim hoped that Cale didn't have to find out who she really was. Unfortunately, her archenemy had other ideas.
"Uh...remember my odd jobs that I've mentioned?" Kim asks sheepishly
"Yeah..."
"Well, this is one of them." she says as she gestures to Drakken and Shego. "Taking down bad guys."
Before Cale could say anything, Shego leaped from the hovercraft and landed onto the floor before activating her powers.
"All right, Kimmy!" Shego says. "Fork it over!"
Despite knowing Cale was trained, Kim feared for his life as she got in front of him before she told the boy
"Cale! Get to safety! I can handle them!"
Cale was reluctant, not wanting to leave Kim behind. However, seeing that she was defending him, he nods before shooting a glare at Dr. Drakken and then ran off.
As Kim and Shego began fighting one another, the woman taunts
"Aww! Did we scare your boyfriend away?"
"Cale and I just met. So calling him "my boyfriend" is so premature." Kim counters as she blocked an incoming punch.
What they didn't realize was that Cale got to a safe distance as he hid himself well from sight, due to the mall being empty. Cale thinks to himself.
"Looks like Kim and I have more in common that I thought."
Putting his backpack onto the floor, the boy closed his eyes.
"Whatever they're after, I'm not going to let Kim handle them alone. Still, at least those two will be a breather somewhat...unlike him."
Then, Cale tilts his head back as a white light with a blue core emerged from his chest where is heart is.
Back with Kim, she was able to fend off Shego as she kicked down her opponent. However, she narrowly dodged an energy blast as it struck the floor, near her feet. Kim's purse was dropped when she was knocked down from the sneak attack. Looking up, the redhead sees Dr. Drakken armed with a blaster that resembled a high-tech sniper rifle.
"You should've stuck to babysitting!" Drakken snarked. "What made you think an ordinary teenager can possibly defeat me?!"
The evil scientist aims his weapon at Kim, ready to fire.
"Any last words?"
Before Dr. Drakken could pull the trigger, a flash of black passed in front of him so fast, it was a blur as a cutting sound was heard. It was more than enough to startle him as he looked around
"Wh...what was that?!"
Dr. Drakken looks at the blaster to see a chunk of something that appeared to be ice. Then, it begins to quickly spread as the weapon started freezing. He drops it with a yelp. As it falls, the blaster was completely frozen before it shatters into pieces upon impact on the floor.
Dr. Drakken looks to his left as Kim and Shego look in the same direction he was looking. They see a figure turning around. He was a ninja dressed in a black jumpsuit, steel black body armor on his forearms, chest, and shins. There was a cloth that formed a mask, covering the bottom half of the face while there was a hooded cowl, concealing the rest of his facial features in shadows.
In his right hand, there was a double-edged ninjato sword with its sheath attached to his left hip. The sheath itself had a golden dragon design on it while the blade of the sword glowed pale blue.
"Is this a private party? My invite got lost in the mail."
Suddenly, the blade began to reddish orange before the ninja spins clockwise and then swings his sword, launching a crescent-shaped blade composed of fire at the hovercraft. Drakken shrieked in terror as he maneuvered the vehicle to dodge the incoming projectile. Thankfully, it missed him as the flame disappeared when it barely passed through the hole.
"Who is this?!" Drakken asks Kim. "Another one of your sidekicks?!"
"How am I supposed to know?!" Kim counters while getting up
When the blade stopped glowing, the ninja sheathed his sword before jumping onto the floor as Shego readies for battle. The ninja runs towards her as his hands started to glow pale blue.
"Watch out behind you!" he warns
The ninja disappears in a burst of flames when Shego fired an energy blast at him. Suddenly, he reappears behind her in the same flame burst as his hands still glowed. Shego quickly turned around to see him standing there with his back facing her.
"Yeah. Not falling for it!" Shego snarked
"I said behind you." he says without looking.
Shego looks back to see two crystal orbs with swirling orange clouds inside on the floor. They begin to shake violently as the orbs started to glow, causing the villainess to widen her eyes.
"Uh oh..."
The orbs explode, sending Shego into the air. The ninja leaps onto his back, getting underneath his opponent before he unleashed a barrage of bullet-shaped ice pellets as the projectiles pelt the woman's front side, painfully. Suddenly, he backflips to his feet and jumps high into the air as he was now above Shego while the glow in his hands turned reddish orange. Then, he unleashes a second barrage of bullets, this time composed of fire, making Shego bellyflop to the floor as they pelt her back side.
Despite not burning her, the projectiles still inflicted pain. Aiming the last shot, the ninja launches a flaming ball like missile at the ground on Shego's left side. The shockwave of the explosion sends her flying into a tree, knocking Shego out. After landing, the warrior looks up to see Dr. Drakken staring at him with his jaw agape.
"WHO OR WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU?!" Drakken angrily shouts like a child instead of an adult.
In response, the ninja jumps onto the hovercraft. Drakken steps back in fear as he sees the individual on his vehicle. The evil scientist couldn't see what his face looked like due to this ninja looking down.
"Someone who despises cowards that pick on little girls." He replies while drawing his sword with his left hand. "Now you'll answer to my Dragon Blade."
Dr. Drakken raised an eyebrow as he asked
"Dragon Blade...?"
The sword's blade begins glowing reddish orange before the ninja thrusts his weapon into the control console, causing it to explode. The hovercraft goes out of control as Dr. Drakken yelled out in protest. The individual leaps off in time as he sheathed his sword in midair while watching the vehicle crash into a wall. However, Dr. Drakken managed to jump off and was clinging onto a ledge for dear life. The ninja looks to see more debris falling and Kim was underneath it.
Instantly, he leaps towards her so fast, the redhead didn't see him coming as he wrapped his arms around her and jumped to get her out of the drop zone as the debris fell onto the floor with a crash.
As the ninja gently sets down Kim, he asked in great concern
"Are you injured?"
"I'm okay." Kim replies
Suddenly, Dr. Drakken's voice catches their as they looked to see him hanging on the ledge with one arm and shaking his left fist
"YOU THINK YOU'RE ALL THAT! BUT YOU'RE NOT!"
The ninja glanced to his right before he walks towards Kim's purse that was lying on the ground. The redhead watched his every move, thinking he was going after the Centurion Project as well. However, after picking it up, he simply walks back to her before he held it out when the redhead was near him
"I think this is yours."
Kim hesitantly takes it from the ninja as she says to him
"Um...thank you...for your help."
"It's my pleasure."
Kim gets a good look at him. She gasped at what she saw; while his mask covered the bottom half of his face, his eyes were glowing blue with a white core and featureless. There was no iris or pupils. The ninja noticed as he asked
"What's wrong?"
"Your eyes..." Kim says in shock. "They're...!"
He seemed to smile under the mask
"It's okay." he assures. "They've been like this for as long as I can remember."
Kim was curious as she asked in confusion
"Who are you?"
"A friend..."
As the police sirens can be heard at a far distance, the ninja turns invisible while walking away before he vanished into thin air.
"Wait!" Kim calls.
The redhead looks around to see if there was any sign of the ninja who not only saved her life, but assisted her in taking down Drakken and Shego.
"Hello? Are you still there?"
Then, Kim remembers someone else was missing as the police arrive to pick up the villains and take them to prison.
"Cale!" Kim shouts. "I hope he's okay."
Then, before Kim could make a move, she hears a familiar voice behind her
"Kim...?"
The redhead turns around to see Cale with his backpack on, looking like he wasn't harmed at all, despite the incident that recently occurred.
"Are you okay?" he asks in concern
"I'm fine. What about you?" Kim asks
"I'm okay." Cale replies before he glanced at the police taking the villains away in cuffs. "What was that all about?"
Kim had a sheepish look, seeing that Cale witnessed the fight. It was an awkward moment of silence, but the redhead felt that she should tell him the truth since there was no point in attempting to hide it from him.
"Look, Cale...I'm sorry about that." Kim hesitantly said. "I should've told you...that...I'm..."
"A teenage hero?" Cale asks curiously
"Yeah...and I'm sorry about the bad guys showing up" she says
When Cale remained silent, Kim took it as a bad sign as she lowered her head in shame and thought in despair
"Why me?! Great! Now he's probably going to ditch me! I meet a cute guy and this has to happen!"
However, the redhead thought wrong as she heard Cale say
"Why are you apologizing for them?"
Kim looks up to see a smiling Cale as he said
"From my understanding, you don't get along with those clowns and they get their kicks by committing crimes."
Kim was absolutely shock that Cale wasn't upset in any way as she thought
"He's not upset about what happened?!"
It was then that Kim felt that strange feeling again. It was as if she was genuinely being drawn to Cale.
"You mean...?"
"My mom's a cop." Cale replies. "I'm practically use to things like this."
"So..." Kim hesitantly began. "What do you say we go for some ice cream? I know a place nearby."
Cale smiled
"I'd say, I'm buying."
It was the afternoon while the teens were enjoying their ice cream cones and talking to one another.
"So the website you created was intentionally made to be a babysitting service?" Cale asks with an intrigued tone
"Yeah. Kim Possible dot com with my slogan 'I can do anything'." Kim replies
"Seems like you were meant to land hero work." he quips
Kim chuckled at that.
"You know, I've never met anyone who isn't afraid of things like what recently happened." Kim comments
"Having a cop for a parent can do that you." Cale said with a shrug.
"I'll bet." Kim said
Then, she remembers the question that she was asking him before Dr. Drakken showed up
"By the way, you never told me which school you'll be attending."
"Oh." Cale said, as if he forgotten. "I'll be going to Middleton High as of Monday."
Kim was surprised at the fact that he'll soon be attending the same high school that she is. However, before anything could be said and done, Kim's Kimmunicator started going off.
"What's the sitch, Wade?"
"Kim! I got a hit on your site!" her friend, Wade informed. "Someone is breaking into a lab in Upperton and going after a nuclear power cell! We need you right away!"
After Kim shuts off her device, she faces Cale.
"Sorry Cale, but I got to go."
"It's okay. I get it." Cale said while holding his hands up. "You got a job to do."
Kim smiled at Cale for being understanding about her need to do her job. The redhead began to blush as she glanced away while speaking
"Is there...any way we can keep in touch?"
Cale smiled in response before he pulls out his smartphone and taps it for about 15 seconds. Then, he shows the screen to her.
"Will this help?"
Seeing that it Cale's phone number and email address, Kim copies it into her Kimmunicator as a chopper begins to approach. Both teens look up to the see aircraft hovering to a stop above them before a ladder was lowered.
"I better go." Kim said
"Be careful out there." Cale says to her
Kim paused at first. Then, she kissed Cale on the cheek, causing him to blush. Cale watched as Kim climbed up the ladder to get inside aircraft. She takes one last look at the raven-haired boy who waved at her as she waved in response before going inside.
"Kim Possible. She truly is someone I can relate to." Cale thought as he watched the chopper departing.
"Yet, she doesn't know my secret." he says to himself in concern.
"How am I going to break it to her?"
Inside the chopper, Kim was in a seat as she fondly thought to herself
"Wow! I didn't think I'd meet a great guy like Cale!"
Kim looked at her PDA which now contained his information as she smiled. In her perspective, something actually went right for her today.
However, neither one of them knew that someone was watching them...
In a dark, unknown area. There was a high-tech tablet monitor that was showing footage of the events that recently occurred hours ago. A dark figure was looking at it as the video feed paused and zoomed in on the ninja in black.
"So. You are now here in Middleton, nephew."
The individual glared as he said
"Do not make yourself comfortable." he ominously warns. "You'll pay the price for ruining my plans from time to time."
It seemed that he clenched his right fist as dark violet lightning began to spark from the knuckles
"Vengeance...will be mine."
"Are you serious, KP?!"
Kim was at home, talking to Ron through her Kimmunicator. Recently, she informed her best friend of meeting Cale and the mysterious superhero who helped her defeat Drakken and Shego
"So not kidding, Ron." Kim replies. "This ninja shows up to help me and then he vanished."
"I can't believe I miss the action." Ron says with a pout.
"It's no big. There may be a chance for you to see him too." Kim assures.
Ron's pout instantly disappears as he decided to change the subject.
"I'm just looking forward to meeting this guy Cale since he'll be going to Middleton High as of Monday."
Then, a thought crossed the blonde boy's mind as he pondered
"I wonder if he'll like Bueno Nacho?"
"Mmm! Yummy!" Rufus squeaked as the little creature rubbed his stomach in delight
"That's a distinct possibility, Ron." Kim says.
"Well KP, I'll see you around." Ron said before the line was cut.
Kim lied on her bed as she was staring at the ceiling in her room, thinking about the events that recently transpired; from meeting Cale and then the mysterious hero who easily fended off Drakken and Shego with little effort. The redhead glanced at her device before she left to seek her mother.
"Mom?"
Kim finds Ann in the kitchen as the adult noticed
"Yes Kimmy?"
"Can we talk?" Kim asks
"Absolutely."
For Kim, her father, thankfully wasn't home due to him working on a project at the Middleton Space Center with his colleagues. Kim took a breath before she said
"You won't believe what happened today..." Kim began
"Try me Kimmy." Ann said in response
Soon, Kim tells her mother every detail of how she met Cale. Ann was surprised at the details her daughter has given her before she says
"Sounds like he's a nice boy, Kimmy."
"He is." Kim assures. "And he understands the importance of my job."
"Well, if you start to genuinely like him, I'd say give him a chance." Ann encourages.
Kim smiled before she hugged Ann
"Thanks mom."
"You're welcome, Kimmy."
The weekend passed and it was now Monday. Middleton High was buzzing with activity. At the principal's office, the door opens as a certain raven-haired boy leaves with a paper in his hand that contains his class schedule, locker number, and combination as he walks down the hallways.
Cale looked at his class schedule before he asked a boy passing by
"Excuse me. Do you know where the library is located?"
"Down that way, to the left." the teen said as he points down the hall
"Thanks."
Cale heard talk amongst other students that the old librarian was replaced due to relishing in the torture of students who misplace or possess overdue library books. The school now had a new librarian who was strict but just and does not relish in torture. Once he got the required textbooks, Cale proceeds to his locker and enters the locker combination. At first, he found the door stuck before giving it a pound which loosened it up.
The raven-haired boy places his textbooks into his locker before closing and proceeds down the hall to get to his first class as he thought
"Well, here we go. At least it's different from Animo Robinson High, that's for sure."
With that thought, Cale's life in Middleton was about to begin.
