War is coming, and we believe it may be more destructive than previous ones.
Sakura went to train with Tsunade-sama and Naruto with Jiraiya-sama. I'm really happy and I'm proud of them. They have great potential that they need to explore with people more capable than me.
Sasuke told me that he wanted to leave the ninja life and I fully support him, but he is confused. He knows that something is coming (I have not wanted to say that war is coming) and he doesn't want to abandon his companions.
However, I told him that it was only his decision and that being selfish was good at times and that he had my full and absolute support in whatever he took. I just hope he makes the right decision for his heart.

A lot has happened and I haven't had much time to write you letters. I'm sorry my love.
I still miss you, but you are still far away and I hope to see you as soon as possible. I keep waiting and loving you.
The war is over!, but not without pain. Neji, Asuma, Jiraiya-sama and more have died from the war. We are all deeply sorry.
Naruto and Sakura fought formidably and are considered heroes of our world. I am proud of them.
Sasuke helped in other ways. He stopped being a ninja, but not the duty, as he himself puts it. He studied and now helps people who need help to heal his mind, soul and heart.
I'm sure that you too would feel proud of all of them!
I have been offered the Hokage mantle, but I discarded it. I'm not powerful enough to lead or protect our village, however I volunteered to train Naruto on what paperwork means. I swear to you, my love, that boy's head is as hard as stone.
Also, Sakura got engaged to Lee! Can you believe it? And Sasuke found a civil boyfriend, and now they live together in a nice little house.
Naruto also got engaged to Hinata and they already have a wedding date. Peace, my beloved, feels wonderful after so much pain.

Naruto asked me to be his father in his wedding! I literally started crying right there with Naruto, in the street. If the villagers had seen us cry, I'm sure they would have been surprised, the hero of Konoha crying like a child in front of a jōnin? "They're crazy," I'm sure they'd say.
I don't have much else to tell you, really. Konoha has signed peace treaties with other villages, all thanks to Naruto, the peace, stillness and tranquility.

I went with your picture next to me at Naruto's wedding. It was a nice ceremony. Sasuke is happily in love and Sakura is beaming with Lee, she is turning into a great medic-nin.
After the ceremony, I went to visit you at the cemetery, my love, and I felt loneliness as I had not felt it in a long time.
I miss you every day that you aren't with me and regretting that mission that took you away from all of us.
I wish you could see and feel this wonderful peace that we have. I imagine you in our home, sitting in the sunlight, like the lazy cat that you were, reading your book calmly and smiling at the dirty parts.
