Virgil, Patton, and Roman sat in the mindscape living room watching a movie when Logan came downstairs to get something to eat. Virgil was the only one that noticed how tired and upset he looked. He got up telling Patton he was going to get a drink. As he walked into the kitchen he heard Logan quietly curse.
'Logan, what's wrong.' Virgil said, walking towards him.
'It's nothing, I'm fine' he said, sounding very frustrated.
'No. you're not, Logan, tell me what's going on, you've been acting strange lately.' At this point Patton walked in worried because Virgil was taking so long.
'Hey kiddos, what's going on in here?' Patton said, noticing they both looked upset.
'It's nothing Pat, I'm going to my room.' Logan said, and sunk out.
'I'll go talk to him' Patton quickly said, but Virgil grabbed his arm.
'No, it would be best if I go.' Virgil said, as he sunk out.
Virgil appears in front of Logan's door and knocks.
'Lo? Can I come in?' Virgil asks but gets no response.
'If you don't open the door I'm going to just come in.' Still no response. He opens the door to see Logan curled up in a ball crying on his bed.
'Lo what's wrong?' Virgil asks worriedly.
'N-nothing, I-I'm o-okay' Logan says, as he's sobbing.
'No you're not, you only stutter when you're really upset. I know you don't like having emotions but you have to tell me what's going on or I can't help. I promise I won't think you're stupid or anything like that. I'll just sit here and listen if that's what you want.' Virgil said, as he sat on Logan's bed, rubbing his back gently. Logan slowly turned over and sat up.
'I h-have acquired f-feelings of the r-romantic s-sort towards a c-certain side.' Logan stuttered out as he cried.
'Did this certain side hurt you because I will not hesitate to tell Patton so he can physically fight them.' Virgil said, while shifting so he can rub Logan's back again which he hopes is a soothing gesture.
'N-no they didn't r-really hurt me, t-they will j-just n-never l-like me b-back' Logan said, while sobbing again.
'Aww, Lo. Can I hug you?'
'P-please'.
He sobbed into Virgil's hoodie when suddenly there was a knock at the door and they both jumped.
'Kiddo? Are you okay? I heard crying.' Patton said, sounding very worried through the door.
'He's fine, Pat, just stressed, I can handle it.' Virgil replied while Logan tried repressing his sobs.
'Okay. I love you kiddos.'
'Love you too, Pat' they said, in unison. When he was sure Patton had left Virgil asked
'So, who is the side you've fallen for?'
'Not important because they will never feel the same so I would rather just forget about it' Logan said, sounding sad.
'Can I ask and you tell me yes or no?' Virgil said, in a soothing tone.
'S-sure' Logan said, hesitantly.
'Is it Roman?' Logan shook his head now sitting up and starting to calm down.
'Patton?' Logan shook his head, again.
'He is like a father to me, that would be weird'. He said, with his nose scrunched up. Which Virgil thought was cute.
He's had a huge crush on the logical side for a year now. If he was being honest he hoped that Logan said no to all of these but he wanted his best friend to be happy.
'Is it Deciet?' Logan shook his head while scrunching his nose in disgust.
'Besides, I'm pretty sure he's dating Remus.' Logan stated matter of factly.
'Remus?' Logan shook his head again.
'That leaves it down to Remy or me. So is it Remy?' Logan tensed up knowing no matter what he did Virgil would know and there was no way he was lying to him.
'N-no. I-it's you' Logan stuttered out. Virgil sat there shocked for a minute before saying
'C-can I k-kiss you?' Logan nodded and muttered
'please' before they both closed the gap between them. It was slow and sweet, lasting for all of 10 seconds.
As they pulled back their eyes slowly fluttered open.
'Wow I never expected to be able to kiss you. I've had a huge crush on you for a year' Virgil said, breathlessly. Logan grabbed Virgil's hand and cupped his cheek.
'May I kiss you again?' Logan said, not able to keep the smile off his face. Instead of responding he closed the small gap between them. This kiss lasted longer than the last. When they broke apart Virgil giggled.
'What's so funny?' Logan said, sweetly.
'Nothing, I'm just glad I came to check on you instead of Patton coming' Virgil said, while still holding on to Logan.
They spent the rest of the day in Logan's room cuddling and sharing small sweet kisses. They weren't sure if they were considered boyfriends but that could be figured out later. For now they just didn't want to leave each other's side.
