Sequel to Leonard and Sheldon and their new neighbour, what happened next with Bernadette?

After meeting Raj and Howard at the 'Star Wars' party Bernadette soon became friends with Raj, in spite of their communication problems. However, Bernadette and Howard soon became very good friends indeed.
Two weeks later Leonard and Sheldon were leaving for work when Bernadette came walking up the stairs with a big grin on her face.
"Good morning Bernadette, Leonard and I are off to do some Physics."
"Hello boys, I have two hours to catch up on sleep before 'The Cheesecake Factory'. Did you know Howard that still lived with his mother?"
Leonard said "yes we know, see you at 'The Cheesecake Factory' tonight."

That evening Bernadette had just taken the food order for Leonard, Sheldon, Raj and Howard when she bumped into Penny.
"Are you collecting nerds Bernie? You have got four of them now!"
"That's right Penny, I recently met two more friends of Leonard and Sheldon. There's Raj from India and cute, adorable little Howard :-) Excuse me Penny, got to get Howard's bacon and ham pasta ordered for him."

Next week at Caltech Bernadette's nerds were all having lunch
Raj "So how are things with you and Bernadette dude?"
Howard "Pretty good, she's finally got a weekend off from 'The Cheesecake Factory' so we are off to Big Sur for the weekend. Thanks again for introducing us."
Leonard "Glad to be able to help."
Sheldon "You do realise Mr. Wolowitz that Bernadette will have her Ph.D in a couple of years. She will outrank you."
Howard "I can live with that Dr. Cooper".

Six months later the relationship between Howard and Bernadette went from strength to strength. Leonard and Sheldon would frequently see Howard coming out of 4B in the morning, Howard would often get a ride to work with Leonard and Sheldon.
Every Thursday night was Cheesecake Factory night for Bernadette's nerds. Bernadette had given Howard a big hug and a kiss before she took their order. She had a big grin on her face as she saw Penny after she had taken the food order.
"Still with the little nerd Bernie?"
"That's right Penny, Howard and I are doing great together."
"Lucky you, I haven't had anyone since Kurt left me. Maybe I should look for one of these nerds?

A couple of weeks later Howard had just left 4A after kissing his girlfriend goodbye. Leonard had a sad look on his face as he left.
"Everything OK Leonard?"
"I am happy that you are doing so well with Howard, it is great to see two of my best friends together."
"But you are feeling sad that you don't have anyone."
"That's right Bernadette."
Bernadette patted Leonard's hand "don't you worry my friend, I have an idea. I am sure I can persuade Howard to come on a double date."
Next weekend Howard and Bernadette and Leonard entered the restaurant.
"Ah there she is, hello Penny. Boys do you remember my friend Penny from 'The Cheesecake Factory'? Penny, you probably recognise these gentlemen from Thursday nights. This is my boyfriend Howard and my friend Leonard..."
